Defeat the system! Kiss my little monster!
Chapter 86 Falling Down
Adrian still felt a dull ache in his mind, and his face was unnaturally pale. When he saw Morris's deliberately lowered purple eyes, he was so angry that he felt like he was going to explode on the spot.
"You...you get up here right now!"
Morris had already prepared himself and knelt on the ground before Adrian even woke up. Adrian, that male insect, had quite a temper, and Morris's act of violently squeezing him out of his mental sea would probably make him unhappy for several days.
Morris still had difficulty opening his right eye. After hearing Adrian's words, he froze for a few seconds and remained kneeling on the ground without responding.
“My lord, please punish me.” Morris presented the iron whip that Adrian had previously thrown on the bedside table with both hands. His eyes were lowered, and the submissive tone in his voice quickly reached Adrian’s ears.
Adrian's expression shifted between light and shadow. He turned to look at the side, where the long iron whip gleamed coldly under the lamplight.
Morris knelt on both knees, but his back was very straight.
It must be said that he controlled the angle precisely. Adrian's gaze was fixed on the long whip in his hand, and unsurprisingly, he also caught a glimpse of Maurice's chest covered by his bathrobe from above.
Only a small portion of his pectoral muscles were visible, with the depth extending downwards, and the rest of the muscles were covered by the bathrobe.
Adrian: "..."
He glanced at the person who was clinging to life, and immediately blurred out a mosaic over their own screen.
“You do deserve some punishment.” Adrian took the long whip from his hand.
Upon seeing this, Morris's eyelashes trembled slightly. He raised his head, his Adam's apple bobbing in a show of weakness under Adrian's gaze: "Yes."
As he spoke, he prepared to take off his bathrobe. Adrian, seeing his fingers about to loosen the belt, suddenly reached out and grabbed the collar of Maurice's bathrobe.
"Who said I was going to hit you? Huh?" Adrian's tone remained imposing.
He went to Morris's mental sea and was depleted of at least a thousand yang energy points. Morris insisted on making it up to him.
Adrian tried to drag Maurice to the bed, but he was too weak and his legs were too limp. The discomfort from being in the mental sea was still lingering in his mind. His vision blurred for a moment, and then his arms suddenly gave way, causing him to fall straight to the other side of the bed.
Maurice was startled and quickly stepped forward to hug Adrian, switching places with him in a short time so that he was on the bottom.
After a heavy thud, Adrian heard the sound of Maurice's back hitting the ground. He frowned and leaned against Maurice's chest, feeling the slight impact and tremor from the fall.
"Master, are you alright?" Morris ignored the pain in his back. The female insect's ability to withstand blows was dozens or even hundreds of times greater than that of the male. He was only worried that Adrian would be frightened by this.
These male insects are extremely vulnerable; fright can cause them to become depressed, and depression can lead to suicide. The number of male insects dying as a result is increasing every year, which worries Maurice for Adrian.
Adrian pressed his entire body against Maurice, lifting his eyelids to look up and seeing the smooth lines of Maurice's jaw.
"...I'm fine." A mix of emotions rose and fell in Adrian's emerald green pupils, eventually disappearing into his eyes. He was still weak all over, and after a moment of frustration, he said, "Carry me back."
“Yes.” Morris sat up and easily carried Adrian back to bed.
Adrian pulled the blankets from the bed over himself, and he seemed to have been drained of all his energy in just a few minutes, his entire body visibly wilting.
He was indeed startled. Morris, who was standing to the side, leaned down and asked, "My lord, I've warmed up some milk for you. Would you like some?"
Adrian glanced at him, then nodded and hummed in agreement.
“Okay.” Morris opened the door and went out.
The creature, already having removed the mosaic, circled Adrian twice and said, "Don't be sad, Adrian. If you're already shameless, what's there to be ashamed of? Want me to lend you some more Yang energy?"
Adrian: "..."
He smiled at the cowardly survivor and said, "Get lost."
*
Morris quickly brought out the milk. He didn't know Adrian's taste, but simply added sugar according to the sweetness that male insects on the StarNet preferred.
Adrian finally calmed down. He didn't complain, finished his milk, and then curled up under the covers, frowning and closing his eyes.
Morris finished packing up the rest of his things and went downstairs again. He checked the locks on the first floor again and set up monitoring and defense programs for the robot.
After it was over, he returned to the bedroom, lifted the covers, and lay down next to Adrian.
Adrian had been lying motionless in bed until Maurice lay down, at which point he turned and hugged him as if he had noticed something.
“Maurice, don’t think this is all over.” Adrian deliberately emphasized his tone, slipping his left hand under Maurice’s bathrobe and curling up to press his cheek against Maurice’s chest. “I’ll teach you a lesson tomorrow.”
Morris remained silent. Adrian massaged the flesh on Morris's back with his left hand. His fingers were not as rough as those of the female insects. The delicate male insects rarely had calluses on their fingertips.
Morris's breathing grew heavier as Adrian gently comforted him.
The pain of falling to the ground was no longer perceptible to his body. For some reason, Morris wished he were more seriously injured so that Adrian could see it clearly and feel more sorry for him.
"My lord, please forgive me." Morris ran his fingers through Adrian's slightly curly white hair, lowered his head, and gently inhaled the scent of his pheromones. "I will never do it again."
Adrian snorted. Morris had been two-faced and had tricked him to death. He was already secretly planning his revenge after he recovered.
“I don’t blame you.” Adrian buried his head in Morris’s chest, his eyes closed, and said, “It was my own fault for not paying attention.”
A hint of surprise flashed in Morris's eyes, and a barely perceptible smile appeared on his lips. He then praised, "My lord, thank you. You have great magnanimity."
Adrian: "..."
He coughed once and then didn't say anything more.
Night had fallen, and the moonlight was blocked by the curtains, unable to penetrate its faint glow. Still struggling to survive, it was processing data in the air, its countdown continuing, another day gone in the blink of an eye.
Seeing this, the creature put away its red card, floated to Adrian's bedside table, found a comfortable position, put away its light, and quickly went into a resting state.
Morris heard Adrian's even breathing. Adrian always fell asleep easily and could usually fall asleep within minutes.
Morris felt Adrian's breath on his chest and felt inexplicably uneasy.
