Defeat the system! Kiss my little monster!

Chapter 75 The Seventh Prince Ran

Aran was a prince born to one of the Insect Emperor's female attendants.

The female servant gave birth to twins. Although the two insects looked exactly alike, one was male and the other female, corresponding to Arran and his brother Loriella respectively.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck later. Aran and Lorella accidentally fell into the water, and Lorella drowned in the lotus pond. Aran also fell seriously ill as a result, and his health deteriorated. The illness he had in his childhood persisted into adulthood, and he relied on medicine to keep him alive.

The high priest of the Zerg once calculated Arran's fate, and afterwards he subtly hinted that the Zerg Emperor Arran's life would be full of hardships, and he would most likely not live past the age of twenty-four.

The Insect Emperor has only two male offspring, and his throne cannot be passed on to a female insect, so he is destined to choose between Sean and Arran.

Aran was born to a female servant, and in terms of status, she was inferior to Xin, who was born to a female ruler. In addition, Aran was sickly and was prophesied to die young, so the Insect Emperor ultimately preferred to pass the throne to Xin.

And indeed, the prophecy proved true. The male insect, Arran, did not live long, dying of illness before Adrian could rebel. For some unknown reason, the Insect Emperor did not even hold a funeral for him.

Adrian had barely seen Arran in his past life, and now he didn't even remember his face.

But Aran was a sickly person, and the royal doctor in charge of treating him must have been highly skilled. Over the years, he had been keeping Aran's life afloat with medication, allowing him to live for more than a decade longer.

The Insect Emperor had this royal physician treat Morris's eyes, which certainly seemed like a well-intentioned act.

However, the result was not ideal; Morris's right eye was eventually gouged out entirely.

Adrian tapped his fingertip on the armrest of the chair, then looked at Maurice and asked, "Is the medicine at home the same as the medicine that royal doctor gave you?"

Maurice turned his head: "It's the same. His Majesty gave me a new ointment today, which was also prepared by that doctor."

"Okay, I'll bring it back for you on my way back."

The aircraft had reached its destination. Due to the enormous size of the Supreme 1, military guards automatically erected warning devices, preventing them from entering.

Adrian didn't mind. He parked the Supreme 1 at the entrance of the military headquarters and then got out of the car with Maurice.

The female guards had already assembled near the entrance. Adrian, this large aircraft, was comparable to some small warships; having received warnings of danger, they were prepared for defense.

"All you worms, come down! This is a military stronghold, how dare you be here... Good day, Legion Commander."

Morris was the first to disembark from the aircraft. The badges on his military jacket were layered and gleamed in the bright light. The female officer in the lead changed her expression immediately upon seeing Morris. She put away her weapon and bowed to him.

Morris nodded to them: "This is an aircraft within the scope of security checks, and there is no threat. You can rest assured."

"Yes." The female soldiers didn't understand the current situation. After being injured, Commander Morris was depressed and difficult to get along with, so they all wisely kept quiet and stood aside without saying a word.

The legion commander already had his own aircraft, so why did he suddenly change his style and buy this kind of aircraft that looks awful?

The female soldiers were puzzled. They stood to one side with their heads down, secretly observing the situation around them out of the corner of their eyes.

“Master, there is no danger here. You may disembark now.” Morris walked to the door of the aircraft, placed one hand on his shoulder, and bowed to the male insect inside.

The female soldiers were slightly surprised upon hearing this, as they all knew about the male insect Morris had married. Back then, Adrian often came to the military headquarters to shower Cecil with money, and had become a familiar face to them.

Unexpectedly, he has now come to the military headquarters.

Adrian only went down to the bottom of the aircraft after hearing the sound. The creature, determined to survive, refused to float in the air and insisted on hiding in Adrian's shirt pocket. Unfortunately, it was so heavy that it almost made Adrian unable to straighten up.

"You're just trying to survive, you really should lose some weight. Don't you even know anything about body management?" Adrian complained as he walked outside, his eyes squinting as he was hit by the bright sunlight.

The man who had been forced to live was utterly shocked: "You dare to manipulate me? My sphere is already incredibly perfect! You're such a wicked bug!"

As it spoke, it bounced vigorously in Adrian's pocket.

Adrian stumbled, took a deep breath, ignored the urge to live a life of ignoring it, buttoned up his coat, and walked toward Maurice.

Adrian's appearance was already considered superior among the Zerg. He had white hair and green eyes, with a natural curl at the ends. Although his brows were furrowed in displeasure and his eyes were slightly lowered, his features were soft and angular, giving him an approachable appearance.

Seeing this, the female soldier sighed inwardly. Adrian's appearance was indeed a rare species among the Zerg. But he had just gotten married yesterday, and today he came to the military headquarters to see Cecil, and in front of Commander Morris no less.

That's far too arrogant.

“Maurice, what do you mean by looking at me like that? I didn’t even bring the Supreme 1 in.” Adrian, with his sharp eyes, noticed the female soldiers secretly throwing daggers at him and quickly grabbed Maurice’s sleeve to defend himself.

Upon hearing this, the female soldier stiffened. Morris had already turned his gaze to them, and they immediately stood up straight and bowed to Adrian, saying, "Your Excellency, we had no such intention. We apologize for startling you."

"I was a little startled. Please don't look at me like that next time." Adrian's tone softened slightly. He looked at the female soldiers at the door until they all lowered their heads and remained silent before he turned and stepped into the military headquarters.

Male insects are not normally allowed to enter the military compound. This is a heavily guarded military area, and it houses trained female soldiers; the presence of males would only increase their own danger.

Adrian used to have time limits for entering this place. Now that he has become the overlord of Morris, he is granted preferential treatment and his time can be extended appropriately.

“My lord, my office is on the third floor,” Morris introduced him.

"Okay, I'll leave as soon as I get the ointment. I won't stay here any longer." Adrian noticed the female soldier's surveillance on the next floor. Given his special status, it wasn't appropriate for him to linger here.

Morris's office was guarded by a female soldier. Adrian waited outside the door, and soon Morris took out the medicine box and handed it to him.

"My lord, be careful on your way back. See you tonight." Morris kissed Adrian's hand in a gesture of respect.

Adrian raised an eyebrow slightly. Morris, this female insect, was always very polite in public, doing everything meticulously and in accordance with the rules, as if all her crazy actions in her previous life were just a fantasy and a dream.

This also shows that he is really good at pretending.

Adrian suddenly stepped forward, put his arm around Morris's waist, and kissed his thin lips in the shadow of the stairwell: "Okay, see you tonight."
