Morris stood silently behind Adrian. Adrian was a male insect from the slums; he didn't have a prominent family backing him, yet he had managed to amass so much wealth in secret.

The Empire provides substantial subsidies to male insects, and Adrian, being a shrewd and calculating individual, likely possesses wealth comparable to that of Maurice.

Damn it, this way Adrian won't want to rely on Maurice materially, and he won't give Maurice any more comfort or preferential treatment.

Morris frowned, his gaze lingering on the back of Adrian's neck. Adrian wasn't a female insect; he lacked insect markings, and his neck was a smooth, white patch.

Morris quietly moved his right hand to his chest and unbuttoned the top two buttons of his white shirt.

It took Adrian nearly ten minutes to sign the agreement. The paper agreement he was given contained hundreds of relevant points, which he read through one by one before finally signing his name at the end.

"Your Excellency, the Supreme 1 is now under your ownership. This is the hatch control. Welcome to visit us again."

Adrian took the controller, put away his copy of the agreement, and turned to Morris, saying, "Come on, I'll show you around."

The staff had moved the Supreme 1 to an open area. This aircraft was quite large, taking up nearly three-quarters of the outdoor space.

The female insects passing by whispered among themselves upon seeing this. The Supreme Series aircraft was extremely popular on the StarNet, and its offline display easily attracted the attention of countless insects.

Adrian, who always loved to show off, boarded the aircraft in front of everyone and slammed the door shut after Maurice went inside.

“Maurice, this aircraft is made to military standards, and the seats even have massage functions.” Adrian walked inside and casually sat down on the seat at the very end.

After entering, Morris scanned the interior of the aircraft.

Although this aircraft is described as a small warship, it is actually designed to serve male insects. The seats have built-in retractable massage functions, and the snack cabinets are piled high with several rows of food provided.

Morris went further inside and found that there was even a high-quality soft bed suitable for male insects to sleep on.

Morris: "..."

Adrian was completely unaware of any problem. The Supreme 1 was still in its original form. Later, when the war broke out, it was converted into a real warship, and Adrian never had the chance to enjoy sleeping on a soft bed in the air again.

“Maurice, you can drive it to work from now on, and you can even take a nap on the way,” Adrian said.

Morris: "..."

“My lord, this aircraft is too large; the military does not allow it to enter. I will use my previous aircraft,” Morris said slowly.

Adrian pursed his lips: "Okay."

He sat in the pilot's seat, connected his personal terminal to the aircraft's screen, and turned to ask Maurice, "Have you had lunch yet?"

The female insect's diet was always simple; she drank the nutrient solution in less than a minute. Morris spoke up, "Master, I've already eaten. What about you?"

“I’ll eat when I get back. I’ll take you back to the military headquarters first. I’ll check out how fast this aircraft is.” Adrian said, setting the destination on the control panel to the military headquarters, and then setting the aircraft to autopilot.

Adrian's entire process was familiar and natural, without any hesitation. Morris took in his every move, his gaze lingering on Adrian for only a moment before shifting away.

"How's your eye? Did you go to the hospital today?" Adrian turned around after setting everything up, glancing at the medical bandage around Maurice's right eye, as if asking casually.

Next to the main controller was a passenger seat. Morris glanced over it, then squatted down beside Adrian as if he hadn't seen it, grabbed Adrian's seat handle with one hand, and tilted his face up slightly.

“My lord, the doctor said the damage to my cornea is still repairing and will heal on its own.” Morris’s only visible left eye looked directly at Adrian. “But it hurts a little.”

"pain?"

This was somewhat unexpected for Adrian. Morris was an S-class female soldier, and he had never cried out in pain, no matter how badly he was injured on the battlefield. Now, he would actually take the initiative to say these things.

Morris remained motionless. His deep purple eyes looked at Adrian, whose neck was smooth and still had brown skin that became more lustrous as it wound its way down, like a piece of dark chocolate that had been half-peeled and was hidden under a white shirt.

Adrian sat in his chair, his gaze drifting down to Maurice's chest. Two buttons of Maurice's usually taut shirt were undone, revealing glimpses of his pectoral muscles.

Adrian was slightly taken aback when he saw this. His gaze lingered on Maurice's chest for a moment before he turned to look at Maurice.

Morris took in Adrian's expression, narrowed his eyes, and placed his hand on Adrian's thigh. "My lord, I was only in a little pain, but I'm much better now."

Adrian received the signal from Maurice's hand, and with his fingertips he fiddled with Maurice's collar a few times, then buttoned up all the buttons on his shirt again under the other's almost naked gaze.

Morris: "..."

“The eyes are different from other parts of the body. Even if you are a female soldier, your retina is still very fragile. Have you taken your medicine at noon?” Adrian withdrew his hand and let Maurice stand up. “You can sit next to me.”

Morris's face was tense, and his previously raised eyebrows returned to normal. Even sitting in the passenger seat, one could still feel the oppression and heaviness in his chest.

“No.” Morris straightened his posture, his words brief, and made no further moves.

Adrian has no need for his wealth, and his advances have not moved him in the slightest.

As expected, she wasn't interested in him. Morris lowered his eyelashes, his hands clenching in the shadows, his thoughts swirling as he thought of Cecil, that female insect.

A male insect can only have one queen, but can have countless female servants. Even without Cecil, Adrian could still marry other female insects as servants.

This is the unspoken rule of Zerg society.

"Take off the bandage and let me see. Did you bring the medicine?"

Adrian was still more concerned about Maurice's eyes. Maurice's injured right eye had damaged the cornea, and even after such a long treatment, Maurice was still in pain.

Adrian knew the reason.

In his past life, Maurice was in the same situation. However, they communicated very little back then; Adrian didn't care about Maurice's health and was solely focused on his royal plans.
