Chapter 102 Temporary Departure
Adrian realized something was wrong as soon as he finished speaking. The late emperor was Maurice's father, and his actions were tantamount to telling Maurice that he was going to desecrate his ancestral graves.
“I’ll go with you.” Morris stood up, completely naked, and casually grabbed a bathrobe from the side to wrap himself up. “However, the imperial mausoleum is guarded by the Tenth Army, so getting in will be a bit difficult.”
Adrian frowned: "Colin?"
“Colin doesn’t mind. The royal tombs aren’t far from the palace guard post, which could easily attract the other insects,” Morris said. “We’ll manage the timing.”
He spoke in a calm tone, as if the matter of the imperial tomb had nothing to do with him. Maurice only mentioned the late emperor's remains, including their burial, in passing.
Adrian was unaware of the events of the previous dynasty.
However, the current Insect Emperor is particularly ruthless in his actions. After usurping the throne, he almost completely slaughtered all the princes of the previous dynasty. Whether the remains of the late emperor are truly buried in the imperial mausoleum is something only he himself knows.
Adrian sighed, hooked his finger around Morris's, and Morris, taking the hint, stepped forward and straddled Adrian's lap.
Morris always kept his body under control, sitting only slightly on Adrian's lap, feeling heavy but not so much as to cause Adrian pain.
"Is your eye feeling better?" Adrian touched the area around Maurice's right eye with his fingertips. The skin there was still a little uneven after Maurice removed the prosthetic skin, leaving a small scar from the surgery.
Morris turned his face to the side, his thick, dark eyelashes trembling as they brushed against Adrian's palm: "My lord, I can see you."
Adrian chuckled softly, resting his forehead against Morris's chest and slowly leaving a trail of wet kisses down his chest to his waist.
"Remember to cover it up again before entering the imperial tomb, so that other insects won't find it."
“I know,” Maurice said, his voice trembling as he wrapped his arms around Adrian’s neck. His chest, still burning from the licking and biting, was even faintly swollen after Adrian pulled away. “I’m all ready.”
“Alright.” Adrian knew when to stop. He picked up the laundry clothes next to him and placed them beside Morris. “Go wash them.”
The warmth on his chest vanished instantly, replaced by a chill that crept back onto his skin. Maurice was somewhat stunned; the occasional stinging bite marks still lingered on his chest, as if he were waiting for Adrian's next move.
Adrian patted Maurice's lower back, his green eyes gleaming with a hint of doubt: "Maurice?"
Morris's expression changed instantly. He stood up from Adrian's lap, grabbed his clothes, and strode towards the bathroom.
Adrian watched his figure disappear quickly from sight. The glass door to the bathroom closed, leaving only a vague outline of movement inside. A few seconds later, the sound of running water came from within.
Adrian narrowed his eyes, glanced at the marks on the sheets, and then ripped the sheets off and threw them aside.
Ultimately, this is still within the auction house, so it's safest to eliminate anything related to them as soon as possible.
Morris was still taking a shower in the bathroom. Adrian estimated when he would be finished and took out the miniature earphones from his pocket.
Only one of the miniature earpieces remained; the other was long gone. Adrian's previous conversations with Arran had been filled with static, and this was just another risky attempt.
"……Your Mightiness?"
After nearly twenty seconds of silence, the insect's voice came from the other end.
Adrian recognized the insect's voice and asked, "Fabian?"
“Your Excellency, it is I,” Fabian replied from the other end. “Prince Arran is with me; we are currently at the black market. Where are you?”
Adrian breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this and said, "I've encountered a familiar worm here and am about to leave. Did the doctor catch it?"
"His location has been confirmed, and we are preparing to make the arrest the day after tomorrow."
Adrian had no intention of lingering in the black market any longer. He nodded and then relayed Cecil's information to Fabian and the others.
Fabian was somewhat surprised. He said, "Yes, Your Excellency, we will do our best to rescue Prince Cecil. However, the Northern Cemetery is heavily guarded. Are you sure you don't need us to go with you?"
Adrian had been waiting for this very sentence, and he said, "We are outnumbered and outgunned, so of course we need help. It would be even better if Prince Arran could provide assistance from the outside."
Fabian chuckled twice and said, "Your Excellency, rest assured. Prince Arran is so decisive; he will surely be willing to help you monitor the situation inside the palace."
Adrian raised an eyebrow. Arran hadn't said a word yet, but Fabian had arranged everything for him.
"Okay, then I'll leave it to you."
The sound of water in the bathroom had subsided. Adrian lowered his voice, exchanged a few words with Fabian, and then ended the call.
When Maurice came out, Adrian was hunched over the table fiddling with his personal terminal.
Adrian's own new version of his personal computer was recently stolen by space pirates. He's always been busy, and now he's even eyeing Morris's personal computer.
Morris's computer has a lot of software, but they are all for managing and decompressing files. The only two entertainment-related software programs are for sending messages.
Upon seeing Maurice emerge, Adrian returned the personal terminal to its original position, acting as if nothing had happened: "When are we leaving?"
Morris lingered on his personal terminal for a few seconds before looking away. He said, "My Lord, I've found a flying vehicle. We can leave this afternoon."
Adrian had already packed his things. Upon hearing this, he checked the distance between the black market and the North Cemetery on the map, figuring he could reach there around midnight in his aircraft.
This is the best time. The female soldiers are less vigilant at night, giving them a chance to sneak in.
“My lord, you are not for sale. I cannot take you with me,” Morris said abruptly as he watched Adrian stuff the handcuffs and shackles into the drawer.
Adrian stopped moving, squatted in front of the drawer, and looked up at Maurice: "What should we do then?"
After Adrian finished speaking, his face turned cold. Morris put the pure white mask back on Adrian's face and said, "I'll give you a new layer of skin."

Male and female insects bearing silver diamond markings frequently passed through the auction house. The more they spent, the higher their rank became, and the more prominent their diamond markings became.
However, there are almost no Zerg players with the gold diamond badge.
The sound of footsteps in the corridor gradually slowed down, and the female insects who came to make a purchase stood on both sides of the wall, all focusing their attention on the center in front.
A rare male insect VIP, wearing a blank mask, was walking back with the female slave he had just bought.
At first glance, the female slave didn't seem to be the type that most males would be attracted to. She was tall and slender, but her skin was as dark as black chocolate, and when she lowered her head, her black hair hung down, making it even harder to see her face.
The male insect simply draped a black robe over the female slave. Although the fabric was rough and stiff, it covered all the easily exposed parts of the female slave's body.
The female insects secretly observed the female slave's figure. The female slave seemed to be seriously injured, her steps were slow, and there were traces of blood at the corners of her mouth.
But she had a slender waist and long legs, with firm and powerful leg muscles. The skin occasionally exposed beneath the black robe was delicate, and after staring at her for a dozen seconds, they could tell that this female slave's physical attributes were all top-notch.
