Quick Transmigration: Finding a Successor for a Sect in JX3

Chapter 143 Introduces Xiao Xingchen to Various Sects

After finishing breakfast, Xiao Xingchen cleared away the dishes and washed them. Then he brewed a pot of tea and brought it to the table where he had eaten. He poured a cup of tea for Hong Fei, then sat down opposite her. He poured himself a cup as well, then looked at Hong Fei and said, "Hong Fei, could you give me a detailed introduction to the sects in the world of JX3? And tell me if there's a sect you think would be suitable for me?"

Hong Fei picked up her teacup, took a small sip, and then put it down, saying, "There are now 19 sects in the world of JX3. Among them, three sects use swords as weapons: Chunyang, Qixiufang, and Cangjian Villa. There are also four sects that use sabers: Badao Villa, Cangyun, Daozong, and Mingjiao. However, Cangyun uses a shield and a Modao, while Mingjiao uses dual sabers."

"Among them, there are five sects with healing abilities: Wanhua Valley, Qixiu Pavilion, Wudu Sect, Changge Sect, and Beitian Medicine Sect. Wanhua Valley uses a pen, but they also have a special weapon called a flute called the Snow Phoenix Ice King Flute. Qixiu Pavilion uses twin swords, but Qixiu Pavilion only accepts female disciples and not male disciples."

"The Five Poisons Sect also uses flutes, but their flutes are called Insect Flutes. Their attack methods use Gu (a type of poison), and they also use Gu for healing. The Changge Sect uses a zither, but they also use swords in close combat, a sword within a zither. The Beitian Medicine Sect uses the Hundred Herbs Scroll, but this sect has few attack skills and many support skills."

"These sects claim to have healing abilities, but in reality, only two sects use proper medical techniques: the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers and the Northern Heaven Medicine Sect. The Five Poisons Sect uses Gu poison. The Seven Show Sect and the Changge Sect are effective because of their internal energy cultivation methods, and they can only treat injuries caused by martial arts. For difficult and complicated diseases, these two sects are completely helpless."

"Lingxue Pavilion is a sect that combines intelligence gathering and assassination, and its weapon is the chain blade. Tangjiabao is also an assassin sect, and its weapon is the Thousand Machine Box."

"Shaolin Temple, needless to say, is a sect of monks; they don't accept female disciples. Their weapon is a staff. Beggars' Sect, needless to say, everyone knows them. Their weapon is a short staff. Wanling Manor uses bows and arrows. Their fighting style involves summoning pets to fight for them. Penglai uses umbrellas; this sect looks truly elegant and refined, with an extraordinary air. Yantian Sect uses soul lamps; this sect studies celestial phenomena, deduces the Way of Heaven, and follows the natural order of things. Finally, Tiance Mansion is an official sect. Backed by the imperial court of the Jianwang 3 world, this sect has a legitimate army."

"These are all the sects in the world of JX3." Hong Fei picked up her tea and drank it all in one gulp before exhaling.

"Thank you, Hongfei, for giving me a detailed introduction to the sects in the world of JX3." Xiao Xingchen watched as Hongfei finished her tea and offered to refill her cup.

"So? After I told you about these sects, which one do you want to join?" Hong Fei asked Xiao Xingchen expectantly.

Xiao Xingchen thought for a moment, then said, "I still prefer to use a sword as a weapon. Could you tell me more about Chunyang?"

"Chunyang! Chunyang Palace is a genuine Taoist sect. 'Beyond the Kunlun Mysterious Realm, there are hidden caves of Yin and Yang. Ask where the True Lord is, not to seek sword immortals in the martial world.' That's their sect poem; you can tell what they do just by hearing it. Moreover, Chunyang has three disciples from other worlds: one is Ximen Chuixue, the sword god from Lu Xiaofeng's world; another is Wushuang from Wushuang City in The Legend of the Young Swordsman; and the third is Wen Ning from the Wen family's medical cultivation lineage in your world." Hong Fei also introduced the three people currently studying at Chunyang.

"Looks like I'll make some friends there," Xiao Xingchen said with a smile.

"Of these three, the first two are sword fanatics, and the last one, Wen Ning from your world, is quite a cutie. But all three are friends worth making." Hong Fei affirmed to Xiao Xingchen that the three were indeed worth befriending.

Xiao Xingchen looked up at the sky and realized that while he was chatting with Hong Fei, it was already noon. Xiao Xingchen said to Hong Fei, "It's already noon, let's eat lunch and then continue our conversation."

Hong Fei and Xiao Xingchen went to the kitchen together to cook, and then ate together. Xiao Xingchen asked Hong Fei, "Would you like to take a nap? Rest for a while."

Hongfei scratched her head and nodded. "Then go and rest for a while."

Hongfei and Xiaoxingchen went back to their rooms to rest.

Hongfei's room was simple yet cozy. Sunlight streamed through the half-open curtains onto her bed, adding warmth to the tranquil space. She gently removed her outer garment, lay down on the bed, and closed her eyes to rest. Her conversation with Xiao Xingchen earlier that day, and the faces of her three friends, floated into her mind. Ximen Chuixue and Wushuang's focus and persistence, Wen Ning's innocence and kindness, all brought a smile to her face.

Meanwhile, Xiao Xingchen's room was filled with the aroma of books, the shelves overflowing with all sorts of titles. He sat at his desk, an unfinished ancient book beside him, but his mind wasn't on it. He was also reflecting on his conversation with Hong Fei, and the three new friends he was about to make, and the time he would spend together. His heart was filled with anticipation and excitement.

Time slipped by unnoticed. As a ray of sunlight crept onto the pages of Xiao Xingchen's book, he slowly opened his eyes and stretched. Looking out the window, he saw that the sunlight was just right, a perfect time for a walk. He stood up and decided to invite Hong Fei to go with him.

Xiao Xingchen walked to Hong Fei's room and knocked on the door. "Come in."

Xiao Xingchen gently pushed open Hongfei's door and saw that she was already awake, sitting on the edge of the bed tidying her hair. Xiao Xingchen smiled and said, "Hongfei, the weather outside is so nice, why don't we go for a walk together?"

Upon hearing this, Hongfei looked up at Xiaoxingchen, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes. "Great! I was feeling a bit bored anyway," she said, standing up and straightening her clothes.

The two walked side by side out of the room, across the courtyard, and onto a path outside the village. It was a spring afternoon, a gentle breeze caressing their faces, the air filled with the fragrance of flowers. They walked and talked, sometimes discussing stories from books, sometimes sharing their experiences and observations. In this relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, their relationship seemed to grow even closer.

When they returned from their walk, it was nearly dusk. They went home and had dinner together. After chatting for a while, they said they were going to their rooms to rest.

As Hongfei and Xiaoxingchen were about to part ways in the living room, Xiaoxingchen asked, "Hongfei, can we set off for the world of JX3 tomorrow?"

Hongfei readily agreed. "Sure! Let's set off after breakfast tomorrow morning!"
