The leader of the men in black suddenly unleashed an electric net, the blue-purple lightning weaving into a dense web in the air. Shen Chumo lightly leaped into the air like a butterfly, her toes barely touching the ground, and a silver needle flew from her hand, precisely piercing the controller's wrist.

The man grunted, and the electric net went out of control, exploding into a string of crackling sparks on the ground.

"Attack together!" The other three simultaneously drew their silenced pistols.

Shen Chumo sneered, her figure moving like a ghost through the hail of bullets. Her silver needles drew eerie arcs in the air, each one hitting the enemy's pressure points with pinpoint accuracy.

As the last man in black collapsed to the ground, the sound of police sirens grew louder as they approached from afar.

Ji Linchuan holstered his sidearm and ran over quickly, his gaze sweeping over her: "Are you injured?" His voice carried a hint of barely perceptible tension.

Just as Shen Chumo was about to speak, her pupils suddenly contracted—in the shadows in the distance, Lin Yuan's injured arm was wrapped in bandages, and a sinister smile hung on the corner of his mouth.

"Next time we meet, little wildcat, you won't be so lucky." His voice drifted on the night wind, and before Shen Chumo could react, a dark shadow suddenly swept across the rooftop, engulfing Lin Yuan and disappearing into the night.

Ji Linchuan immediately picked up the walkie-talkie: "Team B, attention! The target is fleeing northwest. Give chase immediately!"

Shen Chumo gazed in the direction where Lin Yuan had disappeared, her eyes deep and unfathomable.

She had originally intended to spare Lin Yuan's life for the time being, because letting him die directly would be too lenient on him.

But now Shen Chumo no longer wants to tolerate it. Lin Yuan is a venomous snake. As long as you don't crush him, he will always hide in the shadows, find your weakness, and bite you hard.

Ji Linchuan followed her gaze, his eyes behind his glasses growing even more profound: "He won't let this go."

He paused, then pulled a medicine bottle from his pocket. "Your hand is bleeding."

Shen Chumo then noticed that her palm, which had been cut by glass during the fight, was bleeding.

She took the medicine bottle and applied it casually: "How did you know I was here?"

Ji Linchuan was silent for a moment, then said, "We came here in pursuit of Lin Yuan. We've been tracking him for three days now."

Shen Chumo tightened the cap on the medicine bottle, then suddenly frowned and pressed her temples: "I feel a little dizzy..."

Ji Linchuan immediately supported her shoulders: "It might be a mild concussion. I'll take you to the hospital."

"No need." She gently pushed his hand away. "I'll just go home and rest. You continue chasing Lin Yuan, don't let him get away."

Ji Linchuan hesitated for a moment: "I'll have a colleague take you."

"No need." Shen Chumo forced a smile. "I'll take a taxi myself. Lin Yuan is the priority."

Ji Linchuan also knew that at this juncture, capturing Lin Yuan was more important.

He nodded. "Then be careful."

Seeing Ji Linchuan lead his men to chase northwest, Shen Chumo's eyes instantly cleared.

She opened her palm, and a wisp of spiritual energy seeped out from the wound—this was the tracking mark she had left on Lin Yuan during their fight.

"Found you." She sneered, her figure disappearing into the night like a ghost.

In the abandoned industrial area north of the city, the moonlight was fragmented by towering chimneys.

Shen Chumo silently ascended the rusty iron ladder, the silver needles at her fingertips gleaming coldly in the darkness.

Inside the top-floor factory, Lin Yuan was tending to his shoulder injury in front of a mirror when he suddenly froze.

"You came faster than I expected, little wildcat." He didn't turn around, his voice hoarse.

Shen Chumo stepped out of the shadows: "The game should end."

Lin Yuan turned around, his gold-rimmed glasses shattered, revealing eyes as sharp as a venomous snake: "Just you alone? Where's Officer Ji?"

"Killing you is enough for me alone." Shen Chumo's silver needles twirled at her fingertips. "You have one last chance. Turn yourself in to the police and I might spare your life."

Lin Yuan suddenly burst into laughter, the sound echoing through the empty factory: "Shen Chumo, I admit, I suffered a major setback because of you, but I never fight a battle unprepared!"

He abruptly pressed his wristwatch, and a blinding red light suddenly illuminated the surroundings.

Shen Chumo then realized that the entire factory gate had suddenly closed.

"A cage specially prepared just for you." Lin Yuan licked his lips. "Now, let's have a good talk, like about the secrets you hold."

"You think these can trap me?" Shen Chumo raised her chin, her hair gleaming coldly in the red light.

She suddenly flicked her finger, and the silver needle shot towards the overhead surveillance camera like a meteor. Amidst the crisp sound of shattering glass, Lin Yuan's expression changed slightly.

Lin Yuan's cold smile froze on his face.

He suddenly pressed another button, and four automatic machine guns suddenly rose from the four corners of the factory, their infrared aiming points instantly locking onto Shen Chumo's vital points.

"Can you still..." His words trailed off.

Shen Chumo's figure suddenly blurred, and the next second, all four machine guns exploded into scrap metal.

She stood still, as if she had never moved, with only the lingering spiritual energy at her fingertips proving it all.

"That's it?" She tilted her head, her eyes gleaming with golden light.

Lin Yuan's gaze grew increasingly frantic; he suddenly realized that Shen Chumo's secrets seemed even more extraordinary than he had imagined.

He suddenly pulled out a strangely shaped pistol from his waist: "And this one?" He pointed the muzzle at Shen Chumo and pulled the trigger—

No bullets were fired, but a visible sound wave reverberated through the air.

Caught off guard, Shen Chumo was struck and staggered back three steps, a trickle of blood spilling from the corner of her mouth.

Before he could finish speaking, Shen Chumo appeared in front of him and punched him in the stomach. Lin Yuan curled up like a shrimp, spitting blood from his mouth.

"Too slow." Shen Chumo grabbed his hair and slammed him against the wall. "Bang!" The cement wall was smashed, leaving spiderweb-like cracks.

Lin Yuan's gold-rimmed glasses shattered and fell to the ground, his right eye quickly swelling up. He struggled to pull out a dagger, but Shen Chumo kicked it away. The dagger embedded itself deeply in a steel pillar ten meters away, the hilt still trembling.

"This kick is a shameless act of hitting you."

Shen Chumo's voice was icy as she delivered another knee strike.

Lin Yuan's ribs made a crisp cracking sound.

"This is to tell you that you think you're high and mighty, able to control other people's destinies, but in reality, you're the most pathetic one."

She grabbed Lin Yuan by the neck and lifted him up, her spiritual power gathering in her palm: "This last strike is for myself. You dare to covet me?"

Lin Yuan suddenly burst into maniacal laughter, his mouth full of blood: "Shen Chumo! So you were the one who was hiding the deepest secret all along! You're a monster! You're not even human!"

"Shut up!" Shen Chumo slammed him to the ground and stepped on his right hand.

The sound of bones shattering was accompanied by Lin Yuan's screams.

"Your ignorance is truly laughable in my eyes." She stomped her foot harder,

"Lin Yuan, you're about to die, remember to be a good person in your next life."

Lin Yuan's expression changed drastically, and he suddenly pulled out a remote control: "Then let's all perish together!" He pressed the button, and beeping sounds rang out from all over the factory—it was a bomb!

Shen Chumo's eyes turned cold, and silver needles shot out like a storm.

Lin Yuan's remote control was smashed, and his limbs were nailed to the wall at the same time, like a dissected frog.

"Lin Yuan, you still don't understand. In my eyes, you're not even worth an ant."

She took two steps back, a golden dot of light appearing at her fingertips: "Goodbye, Lin Yuan."
