After saying that, she left without looking back, her back view resolute and free.

Old Master Shen sat in the car, watching her figure gradually disappear into the distance, his eyes filled with complex emotions.

After a long silence, he slowly said, "Send someone to keep an eye on her, but don't disturb her."

"Yes, sir," the middle-aged man replied in a low voice.

Old Master Shen closed his eyes and murmured to himself, "This child is even more stubborn than her father..."

When Shen Chumo walked out of the coffee shop, it was already late at night.

The early autumn wind carried a slight chill, ruffling the stray hairs on her forehead. She pulled her coat tighter and walked slowly along the sidewalk, but her fingertips had already quietly touched the silver needles hidden in her sleeve.

Someone is following her.

From the moment I reached the three intersections, that feeling of unease lingered.

The other party was very professional, maintaining just the right distance, and their footsteps blended perfectly into the noise of the street.

But Shen Chumo's senses were far more acute than those of ordinary people—she smelled the faint scent of cigars mixed with the aroma of high-end cologne.

She had only ever smelled this scent in one place.

The Emerald Cruise Ship.

Shen Chumo deliberately turned into a dimly lit alley, her high heels making a crisp sound on the stone pavement.

At the end of the alley was a wall. She turned around in feigned panic and saw a tall figure blocking the alley entrance.

"Long time no see, little wildcat." Lin Yuan stepped out of the shadows, his gold-rimmed glasses reflecting a cold light. "Looks like my training wasn't enough; you actually dared to scheme against me."

Under the moonlight, he was dressed in a suit and tie, as if he had just left a high-class banquet, standing out from the dark alley.

But Shen Chumo noticed that he was wearing a black leather glove on his right hand—the hand she had injured with silver needles on the cruise ship last time.

"Mr. Lin, you've survived such a calamity, why don't you find a place to hide?" Shen Chumo leaned against the wall, her tone flippant.

"Interpol hasn't withdrawn its warrant for your arrest yet."

Lin Yuan chuckled softly and took a step forward: "What's a little risk compared to seeing you?"

"Little wildcat, you really surprised me. I've been watching you the whole time."

Lin Yuan's voice carried a dangerous gentleness, "Watching you send your stepfather to prison step by step, destroy the Murong family, and yet you're still a descendant of the Shen family... it's truly fascinating."

Shen Chumo's eyes flickered slightly, but her expression remained unchanged: "So? What's it to you?"

Lin Yuan scoffed, "I'm here to give you a chance." He suddenly approached, the scent of a cigar wafting towards him, "Come with me, and I can give you more than the Shen family."

Shen Chumo laughed: "For example? A gold-plated cage?"

"For example..." Lin Yuan's hand suddenly lunged at her neck, "Stay obediently by my side."

Shen Chumo was prepared and dodged to the side, while simultaneously shooting out silver needles from her sleeve.

Lin Yuan reacted extremely quickly, but his suit collar was still slashed.

"Your skills have improved again." Lin Yuan smiled instead of getting angry. "But do you think I would come to capture you unprepared?"

He snapped his fingers, and four men in black suddenly appeared at both ends of the alley, each holding a specially made electric net gun.

Shen Chumo estimated the distance, then suddenly pulled a metal ball out of her bag and smashed it on the ground.

With a loud "bang," a blinding white light accompanied by thick smoke instantly filled the alley.

She took the opportunity to leap onto the fire ladder next to the wall, and in a few leaps, she was on the roof.

"Chase!" Lin Yuan's furious roar came from the smoke.

Shen Chumo nimbly moved between the rooftops, but after jumping over two buildings, she saw Lin Yuan waiting in front of her.

He took off his glasses, and his hawk-like eyes gleamed coldly in the moonlight.

"You think you're the only one who knows these tricks?" Lin Yuan unbuttoned his suit jacket. "I'm saying this one last time, just come with me."

Shen Chumo sneered, "Then let's see if you have the ability."

The two took action almost at the same time.

Shen Chumo did not choose to use magic. Lin Yuan's fist was fierce, and every strike was filled with killing intent. However, although Lin Yuan was powerful, he was just like a child playing around in front of Shen Chumo.

Shen Chumo remained unhurried, as if she were toying with Lin Yuan.

Shen Chumo stood on the edge of the rooftop, the night wind ruffling her long hair. She looked at Lin Yuan, who was assuming an aggressive stance opposite her, and a playful smile curled at the corner of her lips.

"Seven." She suddenly spoke.

Lin Yuan frowned: "What?"

"You attacked seven times in total." Shen Chumo slowly rolled up her sleeves, "Each time aiming at my left shoulder—it seems the injury from the cruise ship hasn't fully healed yet?"

Lin Yuan's expression changed slightly, but he quickly regained his cold smile: "Not bad observation skills. And this time?"

He flashed in front of Shen Chumo like a ghost, his right hand forming a claw aimed straight for her throat. Shen Chumo neither dodged nor flinched, until his fingertips were only inches away from her skin, before she gently turned her head.

1.

Lin Yuan's attack suddenly changed, his left leg sweeping across the lower body. Shen Chumo leaped lightly into the air, her skirt unfurling like butterfly wings.

2.

After three moves, Lin Yuan's breathing became erratic. Shen Chumo, however, remained calm and composed, even taking the time to straighten her collar, which had been ruffled by the wind.

"Impossible!" A look of shock flashed in Lin Yuan's eyes. "Why are you so—"

"Strong?" Shen Chumo chuckled. "Because I was pretending."

She finally moved. There were no fancy moves, just a simple straight punch. Lin Yuan clearly saw the trajectory, but his body seemed frozen, unable to dodge.

&34;Bang!&34;

The punch landed squarely on Lin Yuan's chest, sending him flying backward and crashing heavily into the rooftop water tank.

He coughed up blood, and half of his gold-rimmed glasses shattered.

"Who...who are you?" Lin Yuan struggled to sit up. "An ordinary person couldn't possibly have this kind of strength..."

Shen Chumo approached slowly, the moonlight gilding her with a silvery edge: "That's the question I should be asking you. Why are you pursuing me so relentlessly?"

In both her lives, she believed she had never provoked Lin Yuan, yet Lin Yuan seemed to haunt her like a madman.

Lin Yuan suddenly laughed, a laugh tinged with madness: "Because you should be mine. In this world, anything I set my sights on, I must have."

Shen Chumo paused, her eyes flashing with a chilling light.

"You're really... trash."

A gunshot pierced the night sky. A burst of blood erupted from Lin Yuan's shoulder, and he groaned as he released his grip.

Shen Chumo turned her head and saw a familiar figure standing not far away, holding a gun.

It is Ji Linchuan.

"Interpol! Lay down your weapons!" Ji Linchuan's voice was as cold as ice.

Lin Yuan glanced at the wound on his shoulder, then suddenly burst into laughter: "Interesting, very interesting."

He took a few steps back, and before Ji Linchuan could fire a second shot, he leaped into the darkness.

Just as Shen Chumo was about to give chase, the four men in black beside him suddenly clung to him. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, clearly indicating that they had received professional training.

"Go away."

A cold glint flashed in Shen Chumo's eyes, and the silver needles at his fingertips gleamed coldly in the moonlight.
