Touya Yaoyao

Chapter 27 filming completed.

Writing ghost stories takes courage, as does making ghost movies, especially for someone who is afraid of ghosts; it's practically suicidal.

But Yu Yaoyao is an extremely stubborn person. Once she has made up her mind, she will not change it unless she really doesn't want to continue. So, she went to Aiden, her senior.

Aiden knew his junior sister's personality quite well, so when this habitually aggressive little cat suddenly became obedient, docile, and cute, there were only two possibilities: either she needed something from him, or she had gotten into trouble.

But she hasn't seemed to have caused any trouble lately, so it should be the former. Therefore, Aiden looked at Yu Yaoyao, who was standing awkwardly and unsure how to speak, and couldn't help but ask with amusement:

"Do you need my help?!"

As soon as she spoke, Yu Yaoyao's eyes lit up instantly, like stars.

Those bright eyes were filled with excitement and agitation, just like the surprise, astonishment, and subtle emotions they showed when they learned they were number one.

Aiden couldn't resist reaching out and touching the top of her head, his eyes and brows full of smiles.

Yu Yaoyao smiled obediently, then asked with a hint of flattery and expectation:

"Senior, can you act in a movie with me?! I'm a little scared."

In the end, seemingly afraid that Aiden would not agree, Yu Yaoyao carefully observed her expression and found that she did not show any resistance or displeasure, so Yu Yaoyao was relieved.

Aiden looked at Yu Yaoyao with gentle eyes and nodded to himself. As soon as she finished nodding, Yu Yaoyao pulled her towards the filming location.

Yu Yaoyao walked hurriedly, filled with excitement and joy. Aiden watched her back with a mixture of helplessness and doting, and couldn't help but quicken his pace.

Although it was called filming a movie, it was really just helping to check the shooting effects from the side. Because of fear, Aiden was forcibly pushed into the main seat by Yu Yaoyao, while she carefully shrank behind Aiden, secretly peeking at the screen with half her face showing.

The filming was done by director Ye Yunshen, who was in charge of shooting, while Yu Yaoyao was in charge of reviewing the footage, post-production, and then screening it for everyone to see.

The actors this time were mostly from the theater troupe, so they had a natural advantage in terms of performance. However, they found the story extremely painful to watch.

Since it's a ghost story, it naturally has to talk about ghosts. So, the question becomes: where do ghosts come from? Yu Yaoyao, drawing on her past experiences of being slandered, wrote a ghost story set in an alternate era.

The story is set in modern times and mainly tells the story of a female ghost seeking revenge. The story begins when a female celebrity is framed, leading to online bullying of her by uninformed netizens, which ultimately results in her death from cyberbullying.

After her death, she was filled with resentment and refused to be reincarnated. So she took revenge on those netizens who had cyberbullied her, even torturing and killing them. In the end, after killing those netizens, the female celebrity did not reincarnate, but remained on the internet. Whenever she discovered someone preparing to cyberbully someone, she would appear and kill those keyboard warriors.

The final image freezes on the female celebrity, her face pale and streaked with blood and tears, as she raises her index finger to her lips in a gesture of shushing, but a strange smile plays on her lips.

Yu Yaoyao shivered and hid behind Aiden, gritting her teeth and forcing herself to watch the whole thing. Then she nodded with a sigh of relief.

Seeing her like this, Aiden chuckled and patted the back of her hand, comforting her:

"Don't be afraid, your senior sister is here!"

Despite trembling with fear at Aiden's words of comfort, Yu Yaoyao forced herself to remain calm and spoke:

"I'm going to buy a milk tea, I'll be right back."

Seeing her putting on a brave face, Aiden simply stood up, took her hand, and said:

I'll go with you.

After filming the movie, there were still videos to record, dubbing, and music to compose. Yu Yaoyao was quite good at these things, but when it came to the final preview of the finished film, her face turned even paler.

Seeing her conflicted and somewhat resistant expression, Aiden didn't hesitate and chuckled:

"She didn't sleep well last night and needs to go back to rest later. I can handle this."

Seeing that Aiden was about to overstep his bounds, Ye Yun Shen subconsciously looked at Yu Yao Yao. Yu Yao Yao hesitated for a moment before nodding.

She really didn't want to suffer any more. She decided against using such a self-destructive method that would hurt the enemy a thousand while harming herself eight hundred. As the saying goes, a wise person knows when to yield, and she wasn't going to do anything that would harm herself for a little bit of benefit.

Seeing that Yu Yaoyao agreed, Ye Yunshen took Aiden to see the finished film, while Bai Taoshi walked up to Yu Yaoyao and, seeing her pale and weak appearance, couldn't help but ask with concern:

Are you alright?

Yu Yaoyao glanced at Bai Taoshi subconsciously, but didn't say anything. Instead, she took a sip of milk tea to calm herself down. Seeing her like this, Bai Taoshi frowned, then looked in the direction Aiden had left and subconsciously followed.

Aiden had just sat down in the screening room when she saw Shiratoshi barge in. She glanced at him instinctively, shifted her position, and Shiratoshi glanced at her back before sitting down on his own.

It must be said that Yu Yaoyao's writing skills are not very good, nor are her directing skills, but her aesthetic sense and composition of the finished film are indeed excellent.

What was originally an extremely mundane revenge story was transformed by her sound effects, lighting, voice, and music, which terrified both Shiro Touya and Aiden. The final scene, in particular, sent chills down their spines, making them feel as if someone was watching them from behind.

Ye Yun Shen seemed to have anticipated this effect, to the point that he himself began to doubt whether this film was absolutely necessary. What if it scared the audience?!

But it would be a shame not to screen it, because the pacing and storyline are excellent, and although it's a bit scary, it's certainly amazing enough.

After watching the finished film, the two felt inexplicably cold. It wasn't until they left the screening room and came into contact with the sunlight that they had the illusion of coming back to life.

With a slight sigh, Bai Taoshi recalled Yu Yaoyao's trembling appearance and couldn't help but shake his head with a wry smile.

This girl has a ton of ingenious ideas, but in the end she made herself look pathetic. Was it all to get revenge on those netizens who spoke ill of her?!

Or perhaps it wasn't retaliation, but a warning—a warning to them to tone it down, or else they would be censored.

It seems those words and experiences did hurt her after all; otherwise, why would she have come up with such a solution, resulting in a lose-lose situation?

After finishing her milk tea, Yu Yaoyao felt a little more relaxed, but only slightly. She decided to shift her focus to avoid thinking about the plot again and scaring herself half to death.

But there wasn't anything fun to do nearby, so she could only squat down and watch the ants crawling around on the ground.

For some inexplicable reason, most of the warm sunlight dissipated, and a shadow appeared above her head. Aiden, seeing Yu Yaoyao's surprised expression, chuckled softly, then reached out and said:

Let me show you around.

Aiden was always so considerate. Even though he had seen through the truth of the matter, he didn't expose it. Instead, he chose to protect and respect it.

Yu Yaoyao looked at her gentle and sunny smiling face, nodded, and then placed her hand in her palm.

Bai Taoshi always arrives at the most inopportune times. Just like now, he saw Yu Yaoyao being led by Aiden's hand and couldn't help but frown.

Without hesitation, Shirato walked up to the two of them, his tone less than friendly, even somewhat annoyed, as he pressed them for answers:

"What are you doing?!"

Yu Yaoyao was so focused on shopping that she didn't hide anything or pay attention to Bai Taoshi's feelings, and boasted nonchalantly:

My senior sister said she'd take me out to play.

In an instant, Yu Yaoyao sensed that something was wrong with Bai Taoyi. His aura felt dangerous, and his expression was extremely bad.

"Just the two of you?!"

These words seemed to be squeezed out of his mouth; his bitter and resentful tone and displeased expression revealed his displeasure.

Yu Yaoyao looked at him in surprise, paused for a moment, and asked in confusion:

"Is there a problem?!"

Shiro Touya didn't answer, but instead looked at Aiden and chuckled, then said with an undeniable certainty:

"I'll go as well"

Yu Yaoyao looked at Bai Taoshi speechlessly, thinking he must be sick. But before she could refuse, Aiden patted her hand to soothe her, and then provocatively said to Bai Taoshi:

"OK"
