EROS [Zerg]

"Let's hit him first and make him suffer twice as much!" Rioli clenched his little fists and charged forward.

Eros stood there, watching Rioli, who had been beaten three to a pulp and whose cheeks were swollen with bruises.

Out of compassion, he stepped into the midst of the four fighting female insects, picked up Rioli, who was being beaten by the other three, and carried him on his shoulder as he strode out of the classroom.

"Put me down, I can still beat them up!"

Eros raised an eyebrow: "Beat them up again, do you mean get beaten into a pulp?"

Rioli revealed his sharp little fangs: "Female insects can only die fighting, not admit defeat!"

Eros placed Rioli on the grass and tapped Rioli's forehead with his paw: "A meaningless death is meaningless."

Rioli shook his head, unwilling to admit it: "Are we just going to let them say our team is last place?"

"What we should be doing is staying alive and constantly delivering heavy blows to the enemy." Eros pointed his fist at Rioli and said, "We need to work hard to beat them and make them the last place."

“Yes, you’re right!” Rioli clenched his little fist and bumped it against Eros’s big fist: “Our [Fight to the Death] team must defeat the [Undying] team.”

"..." Eros really wanted to complain about what kind of names "[Beat It to Death]" and "[Unkillable]" were, but he held back out of consideration for the little female insect's pride.

When should we team up in the virtual training arena today?

"After class this afternoon, see you at the A16 arena, Team 'Fight to the Death'!"

The school bell rang again, and Rioli jumped up from the grass, shouting at Eros as he ran towards the classroom.

The next class for Comet Class was a self-study period, so Eros went straight to Professor Brandt's office. Brandt had given Eros a spare key to the office, so even if Brandt wasn't in the office, Eros could still go in and practice piloting the mech.

Eros went up to the sixth floor and found that Brandt's office door was open.

He found it a little strange; he remembered that Mr. Brandt usually had classes at this time.

Eros slowed his pace to the office door. Through the crack in the door, he saw an unfamiliar insect rummaging through Brandt's desk.

Eros frowned. He knew that Brandt usually didn't like other insects touching his things, and would rather make an extra trip than let other insects bring things to his office for him.

Is he a thief?

A question popped into Eros's mind.

Eros stood outside the door, recording what was happening inside using his terminal, before pushing the door open and going inside.

The female insect, dressed in the academy's Celestial Class uniform, was rummaging through Brandt's desk. He had been engrossed in searching for something on the desk when he heard the sound of a door opening behind him, and his tense body involuntarily trembled.

"What are you looking for, senior?" Eros calmly observed the other person's reaction.

The female insect turned her head sharply and saw Eros in horror. The color drained from her face instantly, but she quickly suppressed her panic with composure.

The female insect raised her face and gave Eros a stiff smile: "Instructor Brandt asked me to send his design drafts over for him, but I can't find them anywhere."

"What are you here for?" Pared's eyes flickered, trying to use a rhetorical question to cover up his guilty conscience.

"..." Eros stared at the black screen of the computer on his desk. He thought that the star-like school uniform worn by the female insect in front of him must have been picked up. How could a female insect not even know that the design drafts were electronic?

"Professor Brandt asked me to repair the egg case."

"Oh, do you know where Professor Brandt's design drafts are kept?"

"It's probably tucked inside one of the books."

Eros picked out a pair of pliers from his toolbox and gently tapped the egg pod placed in the corner: "I'm just here to repair the egg pod, how would I know where the design drawings are? You'll have to find them yourself."

"Oh, okay." Pared turned back with relief and continued to rummage through Brandt's desk.

Having witnessed this, Eros placed his claws on the white shell of the egg and exhaled, "I don't know what's wrong with this thing, it's incredibly slow to react... what an idiot."

"What?" Pared sensed something was wrong and was about to turn around when a dull pain shot through his back. Suddenly, a wave of dizziness hit him, and the scenery in front of him distorted. He knew nothing more.

"What a fool."

Eros threw away the pliers in his claws, took out a thickened alloy rope from the toolbox, and tightly tied the unconscious Pared to the stool.

He then sent the video he had just recorded, along with a photo of Pared tied up, to Brandt.

Brandt, who was teaching the Shining Star class, suddenly received a video from Eros. After watching it for a few moments, his face turned ashen, and he ended the class for the female Shining Star class early.

Eros moved a stool and sat in front of the unconscious Pared. By comparing the female insect's face with his own, he identified her from among the students of the Celestial Star Class at the academy.

Eros was surprised to find that this female insect, Pared, who didn't even know that design drafts were now in electronic format, was actually a student in the Celestial Star Class.

He kept staring at Parede until Brandt walked into the office with an angry expression.

Brandt, clattering in his sky-high heels, walked to the unconscious Pared. Looking at his messy desk, he grew angrier and angrier, raising his paw to scratch Pared's face twice.

"How abominable!"

Brandt, who was usually a bit of a germaphobe and had obsessive-compulsive disorder, couldn't stand the dirty and messy table and pinched Pared's face hard with his claws.

Eros, who had been quietly observing from the sidelines, watched Brandt grab Pared's face and rip it hard in a fit of rage, and silently looked away.

Who says sub-females are delicate and weak? Aren't they just as fierce?

Seeing that swelling was gradually forming on Pared's face and back, Brandt was still not satisfied and kicked Pared's buttocks a few more times.

When Eros heard what Professor Brandt said, he vaguely sensed that there was a story behind it, but he didn't need to ask; he could just watch and see.
