EROS [Zerg]

Like the other insects that emerged from the sleep pods, Kam was awakened by the sound of gunfire.

But when he woke up, he found that the female insect that should have been guarding him was gone.

The surroundings were chaotic, and insects were squeaking that space pirates had appeared on the ship. Kam was terrified.

"Eros, where are you?" The little boy bit his lower lip and sobbed, "Eros, come out... I'm scared."

"Kamo, I'm here!" The female insect heard the young male's call and, enduring the pain, turned slightly to the side and called back.

"Eros!" Upon hearing the female insect's response, Kamehameha immediately crawled out from the swarm of insects and only after a while did he see Eros sitting on the ground.

Before she even reached Eros's side, Kamehameha was already wailing.

Eros, worried that the bloodstains on his body would frighten the little boy, turned his body back and just looked at Kamah who had run to his side.

"You're injured, Eros?" Camus approached and noticed that Eros's clothes were stained with a large patch of blood on his back.

"No, it's just a minor injury." Eros shook his head, his pale lips trying to conceal his terrible condition.

The bullets that Blue Star Thieves usually use are coated with medicated paint. The bullet that hit Eros caused his wound to bleed profusely, and the hemostatic medicine he just applied had little effect.

Seeing that the bleeding wouldn't stop, the female soldier who was supporting Eros picked him up from the ground and strode out of the sleep pod toward the ship's medical room.

The other female soldiers were responsible for removing the fallen space pirates' weapons and mechanical exoskeletons and escorting them away.

Camus followed Pius to the outside of the infirmary to wait for Eros to come out.

Not long after, the door to the infirmary was pushed open, and the purple-eyed female insect, with bandages wrapped around her chest and a pale face, walked out. When she saw the little male who had been waiting outside, Eros's lips curled into a smile of relief: "Kam."

Kamehameha rushed over, looking at Eros with concern: "Eros, are you alright?"

“I’m fine.” Eros knelt down to comfort the little boy. “I’m sorry to have worried you.”

"Does it hurt a lot?" Kamehameha hugged Eros's cheek and kissed him. "Eros, don't cry. A kiss will make it stop hurting."

As he spoke, Kam really used his little insect mouth to peck twice on the female insect's face.

"It's alright, Cam." Eros noticed there were other insects around, so he picked Cam up and thanked Pius, who had brought Cam earlier.

“Your little bug is really adorable.” The strong female bug smiled and mistook Eros for Kam’s mother.

Looking at the young female insect before him, Pius suddenly stopped laughing, as if he had thought of something. He stared at Eros in disbelief, and after a while, he realized what he had done, slapped his face, and asked Eros, "What's your name?"

“Sir, my name is Eros,” Eros replied.

"What are you going to do in the First Star System?" Pius asked.

"I'm going to send this little male to the Male Insect Academy, and also to register at the school," Eros said sincerely to the female soldier in front of him, hugging the little carcass in his arms.

"You haven't graduated yet?" Pius looked incredulously at the female insect in front of him, which was as tall as him.

Eros explained somewhat embarrassedly, "I've never been to school before. It was an officer who rescued me who gave me this opportunity to go to school."

"He's Kam's female father!" The male insect cub sitting on Eros's shoulder raised its arm, looking very proud.

"Kamo loves Eros the most, and Eros can't forget Kamo. He should visit Kamo at the Male Insect Academy more often!" The little male withdrew his claws after making a pinky promise, hugged Eros's neck, and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.

Looking at the little male insect cub who was so dependent on Eros, Pius and Cadian both looked on with curiosity. These days, which male insect cub wasn't a little devil? Such an obedient male insect cub was a rare sight.

“Alright, I have to interrupt you.” Cardian coughed twice and turned his gaze to Pius and Eros:

"The Interstellar Legion has received news of our recent attack by space pirates, and their escort team has now arrived near our ship."

Pius nodded and extended his hand to Eros: "After you've settled this young man in, you can come with us to meet with them. Consider it an opportunity to broaden your horizons."
