Athena was in a state of extreme excitement.

Yes, she was squeezed between Trinity's two bodies, sitting in the back seat of a car filled with the smell of Im Orton coffee and wet socks, but none of that mattered.

She was filled with joy, and the warmth she felt made any unpleasant smell unable to spoil her good mood.

Sienna chose Athena from among the crowd, and everything went smoothly.

And what if you spent the whole morning doing bad things? This is about to become the best day ever.

The new henchman parked the car on a quiet side street, and then everyone got out. Athena glared at Trinity because Trinity tried to climb over her (Athena had decided to wear her seatbelt, after all, safety was important).

She got out of the car quickly, and as usual, they all gathered around the leader and took their places.

This was something they had agreed upon beforehand.

The more sisters Sienna has, the less time she can give each of them, which is terrible and absolutely unacceptable.

No scoundrel with any self-respect would allow someone to take away what belongs to him, but at the same time, his sisters are very important.

They are friends you can't choose.

So the sisters (mainly Athena) came up with a clever solution: everyone had their own place and important tasks to do.

In this way, when the leader inevitably becomes more powerful and has an entire sisterhood to rule the world, each of them will have an important place by the leader's side.

Teddy was responsible for being the henchman, Trinity was the kind of cannon fodder who could be sacrificed at any time, and Athena was responsible for keeping an eye on the surroundings to make sure no one dared to play any tricks on the boss.

This was the most important position among all of them, but of course, she didn't tell her sisters that.

She cautiously turned her head, scanning the surrounding streets to see if there was anything amiss.

This neighborhood wasn't exactly nice. The cars here weren't as brand new as some of the ones she'd seen, and the houses were rather old, some clearly needing a good cleaning.

At the end of the street was a small corner shop with a peeling sign that read that it sold cigars, alcohol, and other boring adult products.

Between the small shop and where they parked their car, there was a barbershop.

Athena paid special attention to that hair salon because the boss had mentioned they were going there.

"Are we going to hide in the alley again?" Trinity asked.

“Uh, I don’t think so, at least not here. There aren’t any alleys for us to hide in,” Sienna said.

“Oh, that’s so boring,” Trinity said.

"Why do you want to hide in an alley?" Sienna asked.

Trinity immediately broke into three smiles. "There was a really interesting trash can in that alley last time, it smelled weird. I even found a dead rat! And then we got to eat fries."

"This... finding the dead rat has nothing to do with you hiding in the alley. Also, did you wash your hands? Did you touch that rat?"

"It was really hard to touch it."

Sienna raised her hand to rub her face. At that moment, the new follower reached into his bag, pulled out a bottle of something, and insisted that everyone rub it on their hands.

Athena didn't complain; the stuff was cool and smelled like it could stimulate her brain.

Trinity grumbled, wanting to wash only one hand, but the new follower insisted, and Sienna didn't stop her.

"Alright, I think it'll be fine for just Sam and me to go in this time. Girls, can you guys act natural here and not cause any trouble?"

“No problem, boss,” Athena said. She gave Sienna a natural, flawless wink, letting Sienna know she was serious.

Sienna looked at her strangely for a moment, then shook her head and walked toward the barbershop.

As they approached the barbershop, Sienna gestured towards a bench under a streetlamp. "Just sit there and try not to cause any trouble, please."

“Yeah, I’ll keep an eye on them,” Teddy said, acting as if she were the boss.

Athena stepped on Teddy's foot. "We'll be fine, boss," she replied with a confident smile.

Sienna and Sam went into the barbershop, stopping to let an old man go out first.

Athena didn't think the old man was a customer; after all, there was a large bald patch on his head where hair should have grown. Or perhaps the barber was just bad at his job?

"Why did you step on me?" Teddy turned around and asked Athena.

"What did I step on?" Athena retorted.

Teddy pointed to his boots, "You stepped on me."

Athena snorted and crossed her arms. "That's because you're too domineering."

"There is no such word at all."

"Yes, this word exists. If you weren't so unreasonable, you would know it exists."

Teddy roared, "I'm going to beat you so badly you'll be running all over the streets!" With that, she raised her fist.

Athena laughed. Teddy was so annoying because she was jealous that Athena could be a better sister.

This is the most interesting kind of jealousy, because it shows that Athena is stronger than her.

“Our leader instructed us not to cause trouble,” Athena retorted.

Teddy narrowed his eyes, then lowered his fist, though his face still showed anger. "Hmph, whatever. I can beat you anyway. You don't even have any powerful secondary superpowers."

“I will have it later,” Athena said. “I’m just waiting for the perfect moment to do something bad.”

“I bet you’re just scared,” Teddy scoffed.

Athena glared back. "I'm not afraid," she retorted.

“If you’re really not afraid, then why don’t you…” Teddy looked around, then grinned and pointed to a group of boys walking a few dozen meters away, “go and rob those guys.”

Athena rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to rob strangers like that. The boss told us not to cause trouble. Besides, they're just ordinary people, they probably don't have anything worth robbing."

One of the boys chuckled and patted his companion's arm. "Did you hear that? None of us are worth being robbed."

The boy in front laughed. He was tall and muscular, wearing a leather jacket—though not as cool as Athena's—over a sleeveless t-shirt.

Strangely, he had several chains wrapped around his waist, which jingled as he walked.

What a weirdo.

"What, you girls don't think we're scary?" he asked.

"I'm not afraid of anything," Teddy lied, though Athena knew he was actually afraid of many things. "But Athena's probably so scared she's wet her pants right now."

“No, I didn’t!” Athena exclaimed. “I’ve never wet my pants! And I would never wet my pants because of a few ugly boys.”

“Ouch,” one of the boys said, glancing at his two friends and shaking his head. “I’ve been dumped and rejected before, but somehow this hurts even more.”

"Hey, little girl, how about you apologize?" the boy with the chain asked. "Swearing isn't a good thing, is it?"

His friends chuckled softly, as if the remark was incredibly funny.

"I'm not a good person."

Teddy sighed, "If you're not going to help me bash Athena, then you'd better leave, okay?"

Athena stiffened. "So, if these ugly boys just agree with you, you'd rather stay with them than with us?"

“I’m not a capitalist, so I don’t care what others say to me,” Teddy retorted.

"What you're saying doesn't make any sense at all."

“That makes perfect sense. You’re just too obedient, so you can’t understand,” Teddy said.

Athena and Trinity all gasped.

Clearly, it took Teddy a moment to realize what she'd said. She stared wide-eyed at Athena. "Ugh, shit, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said you were good."

“I’m going to tell the boss,” Athena said.

"What? No!" Teddy said. "No, please don't do that. I'll make it up to you."

"Oh, really? How will you compensate me?"

“Uh,” Teddy said, “wait a minute, we’re here to beat up some gang, right?”

“Yes,” Athena said. She was a little curious about what Teddy was going to say next.

The bratty girl nodded. "Then I'll let you go beat up that gang leader."

"Wait, what are you girls talking about?" the boy with the chain wrapped around his neck asked.

"Shut up, buddy."

“Sure,” Athena said. She held out her hand to Teddy. If she was going to do it, she had to do it properly. “When we see that chained man, I’m going to teach him a lesson for the boss.”

“Wait,” said the boy with the chain, “what were you saying just now?”

Teddy shuddered. "Deal."

"No, what are you guys talking about?" the boy asked again.

“We’re busy, you old folks,” Athena said. “Besides, we shouldn’t be talking to strangers. Go do what you boring old folks do elsewhere. Tsk.”

The boy looked at his friends. One of them looked worried, while the other shrugged. "Okay, fine then."

Athena watched them walk away for a moment, then turned to look at the barbershop. Sienna was coming out, looking... quite well. Looks like things are going well.

“Hey girls,” Sienna said, “I think we know where to find that chained man.”

“That’s great,” Athena said. “I can’t wait to make him taste what it’s like to get beaten up.”
