Going home should be a relaxing experience; she should have opened the door and then... felt free.

To some extent, that feeling still exists today.

Sienna pushed open the door to her small dormitory room and then stepped aside to let her sisters in.

Five heads passed by in turn, Sienna counting absentmindedly, then stumbled into the house after following them, closing the door behind her.

Safe.

Generally speaking, she is safe now.

It feels so good.

Now she only has to deal with these three brats, who are sure to find ways to make her life even more complicated. Besides, she still has homework to do.

“Alright, girls, what are you planning to do?” Sienna asked.

"I want to take a nap," Teddy said first.

"Can I read?" Athena asked, pointing to some books on Sienna's desk.

“I’m going to make toast,” Trinity said, one of her bodies running into the bathroom and then returning with the toaster—“Mr. Toast” was back.

“Okay,” Sienna said. “Well, these all sound like good ideas.”

Teddy, please sleep on the mattress.

Athena, if you'd like, you can sit on a chair. Remember to remind me to go to the library with you—we can borrow some more interesting books.

Trinity…don’t make too much toast! Where did you get this bread from?

“Downstairs,” Trinity replied.

"So what are you planning to put on it?" Sienna asked.

"Not putting anything on it?" Trinity replied, "That way it'll crunchy when you eat it."

Sienna nodded slowly. "Okay. I'm going to do my homework and relax."

The bag covered in dollar signs, the bag that held all the secrets, was right next to the door, waiting for her to examine it closely.

However, we can wait and see.

The dormitory was suddenly filled with noise as the girls bumped into each other and started arguing. But before Sienna could even sigh, the argument was resolved.

Then everything... quieted down.

Sienna sat on the bed with her laptop on her lap and her back against the wall.

She opened the assignment file and read the requirements, but couldn't absorb a single word.

Instead, her thoughts began to wander.

Teddy was snoring, and that deep snoring sound was gradually becoming familiar.

She's a reliable girl. Sometimes a little odd, a little silly, but Sienna finds this little bear girl is actually quite caring.

She wants to be someone others can rely on, which is evident from the fact that she usually puts her own needs second.

It's not fair to say Teddy is lazy—this girl is just particularly passionate about sleeping and her hobbies.

Teddy is pretty good. Sienna couldn't help but smile when she thought of her.

She is indeed a little rascal, but also a good little sister.

Athena sat in Sienna's chair, her legs curled up beneath her, her neck bent, reading one of Sienna's textbooks.

She squinted at the text, and the expression on her big eyes looked rather comical.

Sienna wasn't really sure how to view Athena, really.

This owl girl is quite complicated.

However, she has her own intelligence, and is probably the most intelligent of Sienna's sisters. But the feeling that comes with it is that Athena especially longs to be the most intelligent one.

Sienna shifted in her seat, perhaps she could spend more time with her second sister.

Athena was also very kind-hearted.

Sienna realized that her sister was the most similar to her, perhaps not as anxious, but with similar ways of handling things.

Then there's Sienna's newest sister, Trinity. Right now, all three of her bodies are gathered around Sienna's desk, staring intently at the toaster, their focused expressions almost frightening.

Trinity felt younger than her two younger sisters: more energetic, more innocent, and more naive; but she was kind and lovely, eager to please others, and happy to make friends.

Even if her energy is so abundant that Sienna can hardly keep up, it's hard not to like her.

Sienna smiled to herself, then refocused on her homework. There was still a lot to do.

At this time, someone knocked on the door.

Sienna felt her blood run cold. She heard the chair creak as Athena raised her head, and Teddy's snoring abruptly stopped.

She put her laptop aside and jumped out of bed.

The toaster beeped, and Trinity gasped. "Missed it," all three of her bodies muttered simultaneously, then two of them grabbed a few slices of toast.

Sienna walked toward the door.

Perhaps it's Sam again? She desperately hoped it was Sam.

"Everyone get up," she whispered. "We might be in trouble."

These words spurred the sisters into action, and the commotion was greater than she had expected. But at least they all stood up, ready for anything.

Sienna opened the door a crack and peeked out.

The person outside the door is not Sam.

It was a woman, a few inches shorter than Sienna and decades older.

This woman looks quite like Sienna.

Sienna slammed the door shut.

“Sienna? Honey?” her mother asked from outside the door. “Hmm… if you’re really busy right now, I can come later and give you some time to tidy up, or… honey, is there a boy in your room? I hope you’ve taken precautions.”

"Who is that?" Teddy asked.

Athena threw the pile of clothes she was carrying onto the ground. "Should I put on my coat and pretend to be really cool?"

"Are we friends?" Trinity's three bodies asked simultaneously.

Her mother knocked on the door again. "Honey? I'm sorry, I called you before, but you didn't answer."

Sienna closed her eyes, as she hadn't done in a long time, wishing the floor would swallow her whole.

She had no other choice.

However, this doesn't mean she can't think carefully about what to do.

She opened the door a crack again, looked at her mother, and said, "Mom, give me two minutes."

"Honey?"

"I'm not wearing any clothes."

Her mother looked at her shoulders, which were clearly covered by clothes, and said, "Okay?"

Sienna nodded, closed the door, and then turned around. "Okay, Teddy, try to avoid talking about communism and the like."

My mom's an old-fashioned person—they don't really like political topics. Athena, don't scare my mom. Trinity…just one hug at a time, okay?

She received five nods in response, which was probably the best result she could have hoped for.

“Also, be polite. My mom… actually, she’s a really nice person, and I believe you’ll like her. But don’t—” she waved her hand, “don’t do anything weird.”

“That’s easy,” Teddy said.

“I’ve never done anything weird before,” Trinity said.

Athena simply shrugged. "I'm the most rational person here, so you probably don't need to worry about me."

“Okay,” Sienna said, turning around, taking a deep breath, and then opening the door.

Her mother was still there, standing in the hallway, looking somewhat bewildered. Sienna reached out, took her mother's hand, pulled her inside, and then closed the door. "Sienna?"

Sienna opened her arms and hugged her mother, resting her head on her mother's shoulder.

It felt so good, warm and cozy, and it even smelled like her mother's shampoo. She felt some of the pressure that had been holding her back in place dissipate.

"It's so good to see you, darling," Mom said, putting down her handbag and hugging her back. "But who are all these girls?"

That sense of tension has returned.

"Mom, we need to talk."

“I can imagine,” Mom said, releasing the hug. “You have to tell me how you’ve been lately? How are your classes? Have you made any friends?”

Also, why are there five children in your room? Especially that last question.

“Yes, yes. You might have to sit down and listen to me,” Sienna said.

Mom put her hand on her waist and raised one eyebrow. "I may not be young anymore, but I can still handle one or two unexpected news items."

Sienna licked her lips. “Yes,” she repeated, “I’ll get straight to the point. I… I’m a hero, you could say, something like that.”

"what?"

Sienna crossed her arms over her stomach, her eyes fixed on the ground. This floor definitely needed a good cleaning. "Do you remember 'Superpower Day' about a week ago?"

"I remember," Mom said, her tone beginning to betray worry.

"Yeah, that day I gained a superpower. I can, uh, create a little sister for myself, something like that."

Sienna pointed to the laughing girls. "They are the ones I summoned. I can't take them back or anything. They all have their own superpowers."

"Can I sit on the bed?" Mom asked. "Or would it be better for me to sit in that chair?"

Teddy quickly ran to Sienna's chair and pushed it over so that his mother could sit down.

“Here you go, uh…” Teddy turned to Sienna, “Hey, boss, what should we call this lady?”

“Call me anything except ‘Old Lady,’ you silly bear,” Athena said, pulling Teddy back. Then she walked up to Sienna’s mother, bowed, and said, “Hello, Grandma.”

“Sienna, you know I’ve always been looking forward to the day I can hold my grandchildren,” Mom said. “I originally thought maybe just one, two at most. This is much more than I expected.”

“It’s alright,” Trinity said. “You can count my three bodies as one.”

Sienna rubbed her face. "Well, I guess I should introduce you to everyone. Mom, this is Teddy. She can turn into a bear, but she won't show it here because it's not allowed."

“I’m all fluffy and soft,” Teddy said. “When I turn into a bear, I’m softer than any of them. I bet you’ll enjoy petting me just as much as the boss.”

"Boss?"

“That’s Sienna’s title as both a hero and a villain,” Athena said.

"The villain?" Mom asked.

“Don’t worry, best mom,” Trinity said. “We won’t do anything bad to you.”

“Sienna?” Her mother looked at her, her smile a little forced. She looked much like Sienna when she was pushed into some kind of social situation.

Teddy noticed this too, of course. "Hey, boss, does your mom need to go to the bathroom?"

“No, Teddy, my mom doesn’t want to go to the bathroom,” Sienna said, absentmindedly patting Teddy’s head, just wanting to keep her hands occupied. “Okay, Mom, where do you want me to begin?”

"I think you should probably start from the beginning?"

Sienna nodded; she could do that.

"It all started from the first day I arrived here..."
