The first thing to do on the second day was to attend class. The weekend was over, and the days of ignoring the school schedule were gone forever.

She had to ensure excellent grades, which meant paying close attention in class and completing all her homework.

Sitting in the back row of the classroom, listening to the teacher analyze the meanings in the works of a deceased author—meanings that may not have been intended for others to interpret at all—is...surprisingly unbearable.

It was so boring. It wasn't nearly as exciting as those mysterious late-night phone calls with intelligence brokers or patrolling the streets with real heroes.

To be honest, even though being a hero is scary, it's still much more interesting than going to class.

In the afternoon, Sienna returned to her dormitory and found her two younger sisters snuggled together on the mattress, embracing each other tightly.

Athena was wearing a leather jacket over her pajamas, while Teddy was drooling on his sister's hair.

She put her backpack aside, sat down in a chair, and began to think comfortably.

Is it all worth it?

The risks are high, but the rewards are meager.

But she still wanted to continue.

"Is Teddy right?" she wondered to herself, staring at the almost empty room. Was the villainous moral stance the system had assigned to her because she craved that kind of freedom?

"That long?" Teddy asked, looking around sleepily. "Not that long."

“I don’t think the others think that way,” Sienna said. “Hurry up, we need to get ready, then we can go get something to eat, okay?”

Teddy scratched his exposed belly, then nodded. "Okay, sure." She rolled over and stood up too. "What's for breakfast?"

"Actually, it's lunchtime. Eating breakfast is a bit too late."

Teddy frowned, thought for a moment, and then nodded. "What should we have for lunch?"

Sienna stood up. "You two can have lunch after you're ready. Athena, we have some things here that can make you an outfit, at least a temporary one."

"Teddy, could you pack your things in your bag and take them with you?"

"Yes, of course, boss."

“Can I wear my jacket as part of my outfit?” Athena asked. “I want to look cool.”

Sienna glanced at the worn-out jacket; the leather was thick, and there were steel studs on the collar and lapel. It looked distinctly 90s punk, and probably offered more protection than her own clothing.

"Of course, but first, I'd like to start the preparations with you, Athena."

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. I always think things through carefully,” Athena said. “I should wear a wig.”

"wig?"

Athena nodded, then pointed to her hair.

Her hair is a light color and very distinctive.

“That makes sense, but I don’t have anything like a wig on hand right now. I think… a hat? I remember having a baseball cap somewhere.”

Athena nodded. "That's fine for now. Oh, and I also need a big mask because I wear glasses."

"Oh, right. Maybe a scarf would work? One that can cover the lower half of the face?"

"Could it be the kind that's both long and beautiful?" Athena asked.

Sienna stood up and walked to her drawer. She had several scarves, all thick wool scarves, enough to keep out the winter chill.

She found a beautiful red scarf. The scarf wasn't very long, but on Athena, it probably reached almost as tall as her.

"Here, how about this?"

“Sure!” Athena said. “Red is really cool. I also need pants and big boots.”

“I have boots,” Teddy said. “You can’t wear boots too.”

Sienna patted Teddy's head. "It's okay, you can both wear boots, there's nothing wrong with that."

Teddy blinked. "Hey, can you take another picture?" She grabbed Sienna's hand and put it on her head again. She frowned. "Oops, it didn't work this time."

“Ah, I learned a new skill,” Sienna said, “called Healing Slap. I think we just triggered it.” Sienna looked at her palm and felt that it was no different from usual.

"What did you feel just now?"

Teddy frowned. "Do you know what it feels like when someone brushes your fur with their fingers?"

“I…I don’t know?” Sienna said.

“Oh, right. Yeah, it feels like that, but warm and comforting.” She took Sienna’s hand and placed it on her head. “Is there a cooldown period or something?”

“Hmm, about seven minutes,” Sienna said.

“Hey! It’s my turn to be photographed next,” Athena said.

“This patting won’t cure your problems,” Teddy said.

“Teddy,” Sienna said, “I thought you were the most willing to share among you girls.”

Teddy blushed and looked away. "Okay, fine."

Sienna swayed and pulled Athena closer to the drawers. She lightly kicked the bottom drawer with her foot.

"Could you take a look at your clothes and find something simpler to wear? I think in this situation, it's best if you don't attract too much attention."

“I can remain unnoticed,” Athena said. “And if anyone does notice me, I’ll just let them notice something else.”

“Hmm,” Sienna said. She forced a smile, glanced around her room, and memorized the location of her belongings, just in case.

"Alright, let's get everything ready. We still need to meet a mysterious guy before we leave."

"Lunch is also included."

“Yes, we still need to go have lunch,” Sienna agreed.
