Thriller Zone: From the Mental Hospital to the Ghostly World
Chapter 24 Chase
The female teacher has completely transformed into a demon!
Her face was upside down, her narrow eyes filled with rage, and her scarlet mouth suddenly split open, revealing sharp teeth that seemed to be about to bite Ding Xiang's neck off!
At that very moment, Du Tingfeng lunged forward, dragging Ding Xiang down with him, leaving the female teacher with nothing but air in her mouth.
Chen Ji, standing in front, suddenly had a flash in his eyes and shouted loudly behind the female teacher:
"Fang Jia!"
"Teacher Zhang is here!"
As soon as he finished shouting, he immediately grabbed Du Tingfeng and Ding Xiang and ran towards the end of the corridor!
The female teacher suddenly turned her head, not even caring about Chen Ji and the others who were only a few steps away from her. Her upside-down eyes were filled with endless hatred, but deep down, a trace of fear appeared.
But behind her, there was nothing at all.
Chen Ji lied to her!
Feeling fooled, the female teacher let out an extremely angry scream that nearly ruptured the eardrums of the three people.
Ding Xiang didn't dare to look back. She exerted almost all her potential, and after passing one more classroom, she could run upstairs.
A heavy footstep echoed from the stairwell ahead.
When Chen Ji, who was at the very front, saw that figure, his blood ran cold instantly.
Fang Jia, holding a sharp long knife, slowly walked out from around the corner in front of the three people.
Two heads with open eyes hung from her side, dying with their eyes wide open!
It was Wu Yan and the burly man.
Chen Ji had no idea that Fang Jia was actually not far from them!
From her bloodshot eyes and those two mangled heads, Chen Ji immediately deduced one fact:
Fang Jia was no different from the female teacher behind them.
They're all evil spirits!
He immediately pushed Du Tingfeng and Ding Xiang into the classroom, and then dodged in himself, but he still couldn't dodge Fang Jia's slash, and blood gushed from his back instantly.
But after that stab, Fang Jia didn't attack them again. Instead, she walked forward step by step, passing through the classroom.
Du Tingfeng, supporting Chen Ji, relaxed.
"It seems she would rather kill the female teacher than us."
He patted Chen Ji on the shoulder, and seeing the corpses hanging from the ceiling all staring at the three of them, he couldn't help but feel a chill: "Let's go out first."
Outside the window, the female teacher's screams were chilling; she must have already gotten into a tangle with Fang Jia.
He and Ding Xiang supported Chen Ji on either side, and the three of them quietly walked out of the door, not daring to make a sound.
Chen Jiqiang endured the pain in his back, took a deep breath, and finally walked through the corridor!
They were all exhausted, but dared not relax for a moment, and forced themselves to keep going upstairs.
Until we reached the fifth floor!
Ding Xiang wiped her sweat; she could already see the open door to the rooftop upstairs.
Du Tingfeng breathed a sigh of relief. He forced a smile and was about to say something to liven up the atmosphere when he suddenly looked behind Ding Xiang and his face turned horrified.
On the fifth floor, accompanied by an extremely pitiful scream from the female teacher downstairs, came the sound of something falling.
Immediately afterwards, the bodies of students in school uniforms emerged from each classroom.
The female teacher's ghost form was killed by Fang Jia, which caused their strange transformation.
A dozen or so charred corpses emerged from around the corner, all turning to look at the three of them, their eyes meeting Du Tingfeng's.
"Holy crap, is this ever going to end?!"
Du Tingfeng shouted, grabbed Chen Ji without looking back, and ran up the stairs. Behind them, the charred corpses of the students instantly erupted and followed closely behind!
The group took two steps at a time, and in less than five seconds, they reached the entrance to the rooftop.
However, the fastest charred corpse had already caught up with them, and was only one step away from Ding Xiang!
Ding Xiang gritted her teeth, pushed Chen Ji and the other man into the door, and then lunged forward, half of her body already inside the rooftop!
Just then, a searing pain shot through her leg.
The charred corpse behind her possessed immense strength and clung tightly to Ding Xiang's legs, preventing her from crawling any further.
More and more corpses in school uniforms were climbing up the steps below.
Almost simultaneously, without thinking for a second, Chen Ji took out the pen from his pocket and shook off the cap.
He threw it down hard, hitting the face of the corpse that was clinging to Ding Xiang's leg.
Like hot water poured into a frying pan, the charred corpse suddenly leaned back, howling in agony, as pieces of charcoal peeled off its face.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the two pulled Ding Xiang onto the rooftop and slammed the door shut.
Chen Ji sat on the ground, panting heavily, his clothes stained red with blood from his back.
Ding Xiang's condition was even more dire; her right leg looked as if it had been scalded by 90-degree hot water, the skin and flesh were bright red and completely torn open, and in many places the skin had been burned off.
Just as Chen Ji had expected, none of these ghosts dared to enter the rooftop.
The rooftop was silent and empty, with a damp, mossy smell.
A crisp, melodious bell suddenly rang, signaling the end of the break.
The clouds finally dispersed, and a ray of sunlight shone down from the sky!
The three looked at each other, each with a forced smile on their face.
In just ten minutes, they experienced too much: the female teacher, Fang Jia, and the student ghost that suddenly appeared at the last moment.
So much so that even now, sitting on the rooftop, Ding Xiang feels like she's dreaming, despite the intense stinging pain in her legs.
"Teacher Zhang, Fang Jia killed him." Du Tingfeng walked to the railing and looked down.
On the ground was the female teacher's body, which had been thrown downstairs; her death was extremely gruesome.
“I’ve always been curious,” Chen Ji suddenly said, “can ghosts be killed too?”
Du Tingfeng nodded.
"Of course, it's impossible for us humans to kill them."
"But even more powerful ghosts can."
He didn't elaborate on the issue, but instead rested his arms on the railing, enjoying the gentle breeze blowing from the rooftop.
Chen Ji walked to his side, gazed into the distance, and asked:
How much until midnight?
Du Tingfeng glanced at his watch: "An hour and a half."
He turned his head and suddenly asked, "You just threw that pen away like that?"
“If we don’t throw it away, Ding Xiang will die.” Chen Ji said calmly.
Du Tingfeng snorted and answered for him, "Is it also because you think he's a bit strange?"
Just ten minutes ago, this pen had gotten them into trouble, nearly causing everyone to be killed by the female teacher.
Chen Ji shook his head.
"It's not because of that. I'm pretty sure the Ouija board didn't lie."
"The female teacher didn't actually cause us any harm, didn't you realize?"
Du Tingfeng rolled his eyes: "That's because you fooled her. Otherwise, we would all be dead."
"Maybe," Chen Ji smiled. "But have you considered that if we had come out thirty seconds later, we would have run right into Fang Jia?"
“Without our attention, the female teacher would have already left, and Fang Jia’s attention would only be on the three of us.”
Du Tingfeng checked the time and raised his eyebrows in surprise. It was indeed true.
He turned to look at Chen Ji, a hint of curiosity in his eyes: "How can you be so sure that the ghost pen won't lie to you?"
"First, according to his answer, we did survive."
"Secondly, this is my personal feeling."
"It dares not."
Upon hearing this, Du Tingfeng took a few steps back and carefully examined Chen Ji.
He suddenly asked, "Are you really a newcomer?"
"Hmm."
Du Tingfeng did indeed notice that the pen was very obedient in Chen Ji's hands, a completely different attitude from how it was treated with others.
But he also knew clearly that such a strange object as a fountain pen could not be so simple and would have more or less side effects.
It's obvious that the answer from this pen will deliberately lead people to death, but this doesn't seem to be reflected in Chen Ji at all.
He touched the chips in his pocket, a look of confusion flashing in his eyes.
