After finishing their work outside the prison, the soldiers were exhausted by noon and fell into a deep sleep. Apart from the patrolling officers, the prison was much quieter. Cheng Ying also wanted to rest, but something felt off. She reviewed the events of the past few days and felt there was more than one mole. Such a serious operation couldn't have been accomplished by a single person under threat; he must have had backup.

Cheng Ying felt something was wrong, so she went to the prison where the Japanese prisoners of war were held. When she was almost at the entrance, she used her spatial invisibility to enter through a corner.

Inside, everything seemed normal at first glance. Was she just being paranoid? If there were still traitors left, their best opportunity to act would be now, when most people were resting. Cheng Ying decided to check again. She cautiously moved through the cells when she suddenly heard a slight noise. The sound came from a secluded cell. Cheng Ying approached and found a Japanese prisoner muttering to himself against the wall. She held her breath, eavesdropping on his conversation. Of course, Cheng Ying had her all-purpose translator ready!

"The plan is about to succeed...hehehe..." The Japanese prisoner's tone revealed his smugness.

Cheng Ying's heart skipped a beat; there really was an inside traitor! She prepared to leave to inform the others, but accidentally stepped on a stone on the ground, making a sound.

The Japanese prisoner immediately turned around alertly, but finding no one there, he quietly retreated. All of this was observed by Cheng Ying, who was concealed. This Japanese prisoner was definitely up to something, and it wasn't time to alert him. So Cheng Ying continued to keep watch.

Since it was already past noon, our troops didn't want these Japanese soldiers to be full, but they also couldn't let them starve. They decided to give them only one meal a day, just enough to keep them from starving, which would also prevent them from escaping. Just then, the guard at the gate asked, "Halt! What are you doing here?" The man replied, "We were instructed to give them extra food because we won a battle, lest they starve to death."

Upon hearing this, the guards allowed them to pass. Once the gate opened, a man pushed a cart laden with food—mostly coarse grains and stir-fried vegetables. He proceeded from gate to gate, delivering the food. After a short while, once everyone had finished eating, he began collecting their bowls from each gate. But as he did so, he secretly opened each of the cell doors.

When Cheng Ying discovered this, the man had already quickly opened the doors to several people's rooms! Cheng Ying wondered if he was trying to release all the Japanese soldiers. Realizing the situation was dire, Cheng Ying immediately trapped the released individuals within the spatial barrier, freezing them in place, including the traitor—no one was spared!

Cheng Ying immediately shouted to the guards outside, but after two shouts, there was no response. She immediately realized something was wrong. So she took immediate action, feeding each of the dozen or so people she was watching a sleeping pill. The effect lasted five minutes, and after a while, they all passed out.

At the same time, Cheng Ying immediately went out the door and saw two guards lying on the ground. He went over and checked their breath and pulse. Whew! Fortunately, they were alright, just unconscious. This traitor is quite capable; could he be a specially trained agent from the Japanese army?

Just then, a patrol team turned around. Cheng Ying immediately stopped them and explained the situation. The men were shocked and two immediately guarded the door. The others continued their patrol to ensure the safety of the area. Cheng Ying then turned around and went to find Captain Zhang. She remembered that Captain Zhang was resting on the second floor next to the conference room. So she went straight to the second floor of the dormitory. There were two rooms in the dormitory, and she didn't know which one was Captain Zhang's, so she knocked on one of the doors.

While knocking and calling out, "Captain Zhang, are you there?" Captain Zhang came out and immediately asked Cheng Ying what had happened. Seeing Captain Zhang's anxious look, and that he had only put on his coat and hadn't even put on his shoes before opening the door, Cheng Ying immediately said, "Captain Zhang, you don't need to worry too much. The situation has stabilized. Get yourself ready and go to the prison first!"

Just then, the door to another dormitory next door opened. It turned out that Commander Wei was resting in another door. "Cheng Ying, what happened?" So Cheng Ying hurriedly told Commander Wei what had happened. After listening, Commander Wei said, "Okay, I'll be right there."

When Captain Zhang and Regiment Commander Wei arrived at the prison and saw the situation inside, they were both shocked. Captain Zhang said, "They almost released all the prisoners!" Regiment Commander Wei also said, "These spies are really too difficult to guard against. Fortunately, Cheng Ying was there, otherwise, the consequences would have been unimaginable."

Cheng Ying stepped forward and pointed at the spy, saying, "This person came in under the pretext of delivering food. I think we should interrogate him properly. I suspect he is a spy trained by the Japanese. When I went back, I felt something was wrong and came to check on him. I didn't expect to run into him. This person is very efficient and capable."
