My sister is Luna

Chapter 53 Virtual and Real Space

Virtual and real space.

"Am I not dead?" Cain looked at the boundless space, as deep as the starry universe.

Now floating, he only remembers seeing the death of the Dark Tyrant before he lost consciousness, then being plunged into darkness, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself here.

"This is your world. Since it still exists, it means you are not dead." A childlike voice rang in Cain's ears.

Cain instinctively looked in the direction of the sound and saw a small, crystal-clear dragon fluttering its wings and floating beside him.

"My World?" Cain didn't understand at first, but after looking at the crystal, he suddenly realized:

"Oh, this is my virtual and real space."

"Thank goodness, I'm not dead!" Cain breathed a sigh of relief.

"But why haven't I woken up yet?" Cain wondered again. He tried to wake up, but no matter what he did, he couldn't control his body; it was like his computer had crashed.

"I don't know, maybe it's because you were too badly injured, after all, you looked so miserable."

Crystal didn't care at all. It lazily flapped its little wings and floated in the air. It had gotten used to this place. Since it couldn't resist, it might as well enjoy it, even though it was all empty.

“It’s possible. I’ve heard that the human body has a protective mechanism that causes people to fall into a coma when they are seriously injured, in order to prevent things that people do while they are awake from hindering the healing process. That’s why I can’t ‘wake up’. As for the current situation, it should be because my virtual space is special, so my consciousness is clear, but my body won’t wake up. I should be asleep outside. I just need to wait for my body to recover so I can see the light of day again.” Cain analyzed calmly.

The virtual and real space—that's how Cain named the power he gained. It's a magical combination of family power and golden energy. It doesn't exist; it's invisible and intangible, yet it does exist. It resides in his mind, capable of absorbing the little red dragon's soul. It exists at a wondrous juncture between existence and non-existence, forming a spatial concept within his mind.

With his current level of knowledge, he still cannot understand the reasons for its formation.

Undoubtedly, the virtual and real space allowed Cain to completely control his mind, and his bloodlust was like a mud ox sinking into the sea in the face of the vast space, unable to stir up any waves.

A raging bloodlust surged forth, coalescing into a black circle the size of a thumb. The bloodlust remained, though insignificant compared to the illusory space, it was still accumulating and needed to be dealt with.

So far, this is all that Cain knows, but he feels that the power of the virtual and real space is more than that; it contains enormous potential and will be a great help in his future growth and strengthening.

"To be honest, I was incredibly lucky to survive such severe injuries. But that dragon, the Dark Tyrant, was truly powerful, and the aura it exuded was truly unsettling. I've never felt such hatred before, even though the target wasn't me, but a defensive structure." Cain recalled the scene with a sense of relief.

“That Dark Tyrant can’t be considered a dragon at all. How could a dragon carry the aura of a Dragon Slayer? And those eyes are exactly the same. No, perhaps I’m wrong. Dragon Slayers aren’t just humans.” Crystal’s eyes were complicated.

"What exactly is this 'Dragon Slayer' you're talking about?" Cain asked solemnly, stroking his chin.

"The Dragon Slayers are the embodiment of evil. They clamor about hating miracles, invading the King's Canyon to destroy and plunder. Our dragon race paid a huge price to quell them. The Dragon Slayers I saw were a group of humans..." Crystal said indignantly.

"So that's why you kept chasing me when I returned to the King's Canyon?" Cain suddenly realized.

"No, it's because you not only disturbed my sleep, but you also touched my tail. In our tribe, touching the tail is an intimate act that is only allowed between mates. Your behavior is, in human terms, indecent assault! No, it's even worse!" Crystal hugged her two little paws, very angry.

Didn't I chop it? How can it be considered touching? No, perhaps with the strength I had at the time, it was just touching to it.

"Ahem, those [Dragon Slayers], the Dark Tyrant, and the Nameless Mist, the predecessor of my Demon Armor, may all originate from the same source. I once heard the Nameless Mist say that it was the first to emerge from Hell, which should be where. There are more than just this batch, but we know too little about the specific location, environment, and species of Hell. We don't have much information at all." Cain quickly changed the subject, pretending to be serious.

The thought of that brutal battle filled Cain with sorrow. So many comrades had sacrificed their lives for the victory, and he himself had survived only because of them. He would not allow it to happen again. Hell became the goal he had to overcome on his journey, so that he could be worthy of the spirits of his fallen comrades.

“That’s right. We’re in the open, and the enemy is in the shadows. No matter what, I must find them and avenge my family!” Crystal said with a gloomy expression.

"Alright, let's not talk about these heavy topics anymore. That day will come eventually. Let's enjoy this time here for now." Cain patted its little head.

"This cosmic scene is too vast and cold; I think we should change it to something more lively."

As Cain spoke, he snapped his fingers and began to use his imagination to project and decorate the virtual and real spaces. The entire universe began to distort, and as the galaxies swirled, the world began to change.

"Eat my road roller!" A huge machine descended from the sky.

"Ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora ora..." Countless fists were swung.

"It's too late! You can't escape now!"

"Wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big wood big..."

"Ora ora ora ora..."

"Wood big wood big wood big wood big..."

"Eight seconds have passed!"

“WRYYYYYYYYYYY——!”

I'll crush you!

As Cain's imagination flashed by, the scene of an explosion instantly appeared.

Crystal froze, forgetting even to flap its wings.

"Ahem, it's too lively, uh no, I misunderstood." Cain coughed awkwardly, and then the entire mental space changed again.

A new world appeared: a clear blue sky, lush green grasslands, and a bright sun hanging in the sky, radiating warm sunlight—this is what a world looks like.

"Yes, you're right!" Cain nodded seriously.

"This is more comfortable." Cain lay on the grass, enjoying the sunshine.

"Hey Cain, what was that scene just now?" Crystal flew over and sat down next to him, asking.

Crystal had been bored ever since entering the virtual-real space, but the scene she just witnessed piqued her interest.

"Oh, that's a scene from a story where a group of 18-year-old delinquents go to Egypt to beat up a centenarian, only to be retaliated against by the centenarian who is experiencing a final burst of lucidity."

Cain appeared unconcerned, a sly smile playing on his lips.

"Could you... could you play it again?" Crystal asked, her eyes filled with longing, her face showing embarrassment.

"Of course, I'll show you the whole story." As he spoke, a huge screen appeared in the sky, and then colorful images began to appear, and the story started to unfold.

Crystal stared intently into the distance with her large, watery eyes.

Hehe, come on, step into the world of anime!

Cain chuckled to himself.

Spending time in the virtual and real space is devoid of a concept of time, or rather, Cain does not calculate time. He is either playing and chatting with the crystal or watching the two-dimensional anime projected into his mind to cultivate a relationship with it, or he is exploring his own virtual and real space.

I don't know how much time passed; it might have been a moment, or it might have been ten thousand years.

Cain suddenly felt a sense of control over his body.
