As soon as An Jie finished speaking, he heard even breathing from the side; Lin Wangshu was already fast asleep.

She seemed truly exhausted. Anjie tucked her in, affectionately stroked her hair, and then closed his eyes to sleep.

Lin Wangshu slept soundly through the night and regained her energy. An Jie saw this and decided that she would sleep with him for the next two days.

Putting aside how shocked Jiang Weidong was when he heard this, Jiang Defu was also extremely unwilling.

But when faced with An Jie, neither of them dared to speak out against their anger, and could only continue to huddle together in grievance.

Jiang Defu felt that he was completely innocent and that he was implicated by that brat Jiang Weidong.

When Jiang Defu got up in the middle of the night, he saw Jiang Weidong sleeping soundly and became furious.

Jiang Defu tiptoed over and lifted the mosquito net over Jiang Weidong's side, isolating him, and then wrapped himself up tightly. Only then did Jiang Defu smile with satisfaction.

It's currently the height of summer, the season when mosquitoes are rampant, and the mosquitoes on the island are particularly large and venomous.

Without the mosquito net, Jiang Weidong became a huge blood blister; it would be a shame if mosquitoes didn't bite him.

When Jiang Weidong woke up the next day, he felt itchy all over. Upon closer inspection, he found that he had been bitten by many red bumps.

Looking at the mosquito net that had separated him from the mosquitoes, Jiang Weidong was both amused and exasperated. He looked at Jiang Defu, who showed no sign of guilt, and asked, "Dad, what happened to the mosquito net? Do you know what happened?"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Defu put his hands behind his back, stuck out his neck, and said confidently, "How would I know? I sleep so soundly at night, maybe it was the wind blowing me away."

Jiang Weidong looked at the mosquito net tucked under his blanket, then at the tightly closed window, and laughed angrily, "Aren't you talking nonsense? This was clearly done by you."

"Am I that naive? Don't try to smear me. I bet you were just out of sleep last night and did it yourself."

Seeing that Jiang Weidong wanted to say something more, Jiang Defu raised his hand to interrupt him, "Alright, I'm not talking to you anymore. Your uncle is waiting for me to play chess."

As Jiang Defu was speaking, he seemed to be avoiding him, and hurriedly left without even having breakfast.

Jiang Weidong felt helpless. His father had been acting like a child these past few years, and he couldn't argue with his own father.

As for Jiang Defu's reasons for doing this, Jiang Weidong could guess roughly why: he was angry that Jiang Defu had made him break up with An Jie.

Jiang Weidong had reached his limit; he wanted to sleep while holding the sweet and soft Little Moon!

Looking at the red, swollen mosquito bites on his arm, Jiang Weidong's lips curled up, and an idea formed in his mind.

After spraying most of a bottle of floral water on himself, Jiang Weidong went to find Lin Wangshu with a pained expression. "Little Moon, do you have any ointment? I'm dying of itching."

He rolled up his sleeves and stretched his arm out in front of Lin Wangshu's eyes, revealing many red and swollen mosquito bites on it.

Some of them were even two next to each other, with bloody scratch marks on them, looking extremely pitiful.

Lin Wangshu was startled and quickly found some ointment to apply to him. "What happened? How did you get bitten like this by mosquitoes? We have a mosquito net, don't we?"

Jiang Weidong sighed softly, "I don't know either. When I woke up, I found that my mosquito net had been lifted up."

He slept with Jiang Defu. After hearing this, Lin Wangshu looked up and asked hesitantly, "Dad didn't do it, did he?"

Lin Wangshu was reluctant to believe it; she didn't think Jiang Defu was such a despicable person.

"Who else could it be but him?" Jiang Weidong said angrily, pulling Lin Wangshu into their room. "Look at this, Dad still says it was the wind, isn't that just blatant lying?"

Lin Wangshu looked at the "crime scene" and his lips twitched. Jiang Defu didn't even come up with a better excuse. Jiang Weidong wasn't stupid; there was no way he would believe it.

Seeing Jiang Weidong still scratching his neck, Lin Wangshu felt sorry for him and pressed him into a chair. "Stop scratching, or it will break."

While applying the medicine, Lin Wangshu couldn't help but complain to Jiang Defu, "Dad, what are you doing? How could you do this to your own son?"

Jiang Weidong held her in his arms and said with a pitiful expression, "Wangshu, I feel so uncomfortable."

Lin Wangshu rarely saw him show weakness, and asked somewhat helplessly, "Then what should we do?"

A glint flashed in Jiang Weidong's eyes, and he raised his face expectantly, saying, "I'll feel much better if you kiss me."

Lin Wangshu took his hand in her arms and gently kissed the mosquito bite. "Give it a kiss and the pain will fly away."

Jiang Weidong's heart skipped a beat. When he was a child, he often played pranks with Jiang Weiguo, and getting into fights was a common occurrence. He often came home covered in injuries.

Sometimes, when he was beaten badly, he was afraid that Jiang Weiguo would see it and despise him, so he would hide away and secretly wipe away his tears.

Later, Lin Wangshu discovered it, so she applied some medicine to his wound, blew on it, and said with a smile, "Blow on it, and the pain will fly away."

I don't know if it's just psychological, but after she blew on it like that, it really didn't hurt as much.

Unfortunately, as they grew older, Jiang Weidong never enjoyed this treatment again in order to avoid suspicion.

Now that they've been "reunited after a long separation," Jiang Weidong looked at her earnest and devout profile, and felt a pang of sadness in his heart.

"Little Moon, sleep with me, I can't live without you."

Lin Wangshu shook her head after hearing this, "No, Mom wants me to stay with her."

Jiang Weidong lowered his eyes and said, "Then how can you bear to let me continue sleeping with Dad? He's just like a child now, who knows what other tricks he'll come up with to mess with me."

Lin Wangshu suggested to him, "Why don't you let Dad sleep with Weimin?"

"It's no use. Dad wants to sleep with Mom, and now he's taking it out on me."

Now Lin Wangshu was also worried, "What should we do?"

Seeing that she seemed to be wavering, Jiang Weidong tentatively revealed his plan, "How about we leave tomorrow? Go back to our home."

Lin Wangshu looked at the mosquito bite on his forehead and couldn't help but nod with a smile, "Okay."

That evening, after Jiang Weidong announced his decision, An Jie frowned and was about to object.

Upon hearing this, Jiang Defu's eyes lit up, and he interrupted An Jie, saying, "That's good, that's good. You can go without worry. Don't worry about me and your mother."

When An Jie heard Jiang Defu say that, she gave him a disapproving look. She hadn't taught Jiang Weidong a lesson yet, and this guy only knew how to hold her back.

Back in the bedroom, An Jie questioned Jiang Defu, "Who told you to agree to that? I was planning to let Wang Shu stay for a few more days."

Jiang Defu pressed An Jie down onto the sofa and patiently explained, "This is a matter between the young couple, so let's not interfere."

"Besides, I think Weidong understands too. If you keep stopping him, aren't you just ruining their marriage?"

"You're full of twisted logic." Anjie pouted at him, but stopped objecting.

The next morning, Jiang Weidong, carrying his already packed luggage, eagerly dragged Lin Wangshu off the island.

When they returned to their little home, Lin Wangshu pushed open the door and couldn't help but exclaim "Wow!"
