Three days later, Huo Chenjun returned from his business trip as scheduled.

When Huo Chenjun arrived home, he opened the bedroom door and saw his wife, Tang Xiaqing, sitting beside the bed, a solemn expression on her face. She was wearing a lavender silk nightgown, the soft fabric clinging to her figure. Her long hair was casually draped over her shoulders, with a few strands falling on her cheeks.

President Huo approached her, sat down beside her, stroked her shoulder, and asked softly, "What's wrong? You look so worried. Is there something wrong with the company?"

The deputy director’s surname is Li. He is a middle-aged man with a slightly plump figure and a sleek smile that is common in official circles.

He was holding a cup of tea in his hand, sipping it slowly, and a young beauty was sitting next to him.

"Director Li, sorry for the long wait." Mr. Huo walked forward with a smile and extended his hand to shake hands with Deputy Director Li.

Deputy Director Li stood up, smiling broadly, "Mr. Huo, you're too polite. I just got here too."

As the dinner drew to a close, Deputy Director Li's face flushed, evidently enjoying his drinks. He leaned back in his chair, a toothpick in hand, picking his teeth slowly, his eyes occasionally glancing at the young woman sitting beside him.

Deputy Director Li suddenly put down his toothpick, looked at Mr. Huo with a smile, and said with a hint of teasing, "Mr. Huo, it's rare to be so happy today. How about we go sing some songs? I know there's a new KTV nearby with a nice environment and good acoustics."

After the dinner, President Huo and Tang Xiaqing saw Deputy Director Li off to the car.

Mr. Huo smiled and nodded, watching Deputy Director Li's car slowly drive away.

Tang Xiaqing raised her head and asked, "If...if I wasn't here today, would you go to KTV with Deputy Director Li? Also, when you were entertaining in the past, did you bring a woman with you like he did?"
