"Of course you're sure, otherwise I would have called you over?" Another voice sounded even more hurried, with obvious anxiety. They had obviously noticed something was wrong, but they didn't dare to act rashly.

Xiaohu's mind raced, considering every next step. He realized that if he rushed out rashly, the enemy would likely be thrown into chaos, and he would have no chance of escaping the camp. But continuing to hide was not an option either. The longer he delayed, the greater the chance of being exposed.

Suddenly, a bold idea flashed through his mind—create chaos and escape in the chaos. He quickly glanced at the furnishings in the tent, his eyes stopping at a burning kerosene lamp. He slowly put away the dagger, took out a piece of dry cloth from his bosom, wrapped it around the kerosene lampshade, and broke it with force—

"Pop!" The sound of the lampshade shattering could be heard clearly, and then the burning kerosene instantly splashed out, spilling onto a corner of the tent. The flames quickly jumped up, becoming increasingly strong. Xiaohu took advantage of the firelight to quickly get out of the tent and, using the cover of the thick smoke, sneaked towards the direction with the weakest defense.

"Fire!" The enemies outside were suddenly in a panic. Someone shouted, "Hurry up and put out the fire! There may be enemies inside. Search everywhere!"

Xiaohu moved quickly, close to the ground, his ears filled with the enemy's noisy shouts and footsteps. Although he had entered the chaos, he felt no sense of relief. He knew that if he was discovered, every gun here would be pointed at him.

Suddenly, a muffled burst of gunfire echoed from the distance, followed by a whistle. This was Qin Cang's signal, indicating that friendly forces were out in the area, attracting the enemy's attention. Xiaohu gritted his teeth, "Captain Qin really has foreseen everything. He knew I needed cover to escape."

Meanwhile, Qin Cang stood behind a distant rock, his gaze fixed on the distant fire of the enemy camp. Beside him stood Liu San, a simple yet incredibly reliable soldier, who was checking his equipment. Liu San scratched his head and whispered, "Captain Qin, is Xiaohu okay?"

"He won't." Qin Cang's tone was calm and resolute, but his heart wasn't as calm as it appeared. He knew Xiaohu. This young warrior had courage and wisdom, but the enemy was never easy to deal with, especially those entrenched in this jungle. He clenched and unclenched his fists, muttering to himself, "Xiaohu, don't make any mistakes."

"Then when do we start?" Liu San carried the gun on his shoulder, his face full of fighting spirit, like an awakened beast.

"Wait for the signal." Qin Cang's eyes swept through the jungle, taking in every detail. His mind quickly sketched out possible scenarios and action plans. If Xiaohu failed, he would have to lead the charge himself; if he succeeded, he would need to quickly provide support and bring back the intelligence. He was never afraid of fighting, but he was terrified of losing any of his comrades, especially Xiaohu.

"Captain Qin, which direction do you think he will run to?" There was a hint of worry in Liu San's voice.

"North. He's a smart man, he knows the best retreat route." Qin Cang answered decisively, yet with a hint of unease. Xiaohu's image kept flashing through his mind: his thin frame, his childish yet resolute expression. This mission might be a huge test for Xiaohu, but Qin Cang knew that without him, obtaining this intelligence would be impossible.

The wind in the forest rustled the leaves, making a rustling sound. Qin Cang narrowed his eyes, already sensing danger. Suddenly, a subtle sound came from the distance, like someone stepping on a branch. Qin Cang quickly raised his hand to signal Liu San, whispering, "There's movement! It could be Xiaohu, or it could be the enemy. Don't act rashly."

Liu San nodded, crouching on the ground, his gun pointed in the direction of the noise. His eyes were fixed on the shadows between the trees, and his breathing became slow and rhythmic.

A few seconds later, a thin figure emerged from the bushes. It was Xiao Hu! His face was covered in dirt, and his clothes were tattered, but his eyes were filled with ecstasy and excitement. He waved as he ran.

"Captain Qin, we've got the intelligence!" Xiaohu's voice was filled with excitement, but before he could run a few steps, his body suddenly stopped and he shouted, "The enemy is chasing us!"

As soon as he finished speaking, dense footsteps and chaotic shouts were heard from the depths of the woods. It was obvious that the enemy had discovered his tracks and was chasing him. Qin Cang's face changed and he whispered, "Liu San, cover the retreat! Don't let them get close!"

Without a word, Liu San raised his gun and aimed at the direction where the enemy might appear. A series of gunshots broke the silence of the jungle. The bullets hit the tree trunks, splashing wood chips. The enemy immediately stopped and began to return fire from covert positions.

"Retreat!" Qin Cang growled, pulling Xiao Hu back and shooting back at them, buying them time. They had to leave the area as quickly as possible, otherwise, once the enemy reinforcements arrived, there would be no chance of survival.

Amidst the chaos, Xiao Hu clutched the documents tightly in his arms, his heart awash with mixed emotions. He knew the value of this intelligence could change the situation, but he also knew that if Qin Cang and Liu San hadn't arrived in time, he would likely have been killed in the enemy camp. He looked up at Qin Cang's stern figure in front of him, and a complex wave of emotions welled up in his heart. "Captain Qin... I won't let you down," he vowed silently in his heart.

The gunfire in the woods gradually became sparse, and the enemy's pursuit seemed to be temporarily suppressed, but Qin Cang did not relax at all. He pulled Xiaohu and Liu San along and rushed all the way until they were completely away from the enemy camp, and finally stopped.

"Xiaohu, where are the documents?" Qin Cang asked breathlessly, with a hint of anxiety in his eyes.

Xiao Hu pulled out the stack of documents from his pocket and handed them to Qin Cang with both hands, his face full of pride. "Here, write it all down: their plans, deployments, and contact information!"

Qin Cang took the document, flipped it open, glanced at it briefly, and a slight smile appeared on his lips. He patted Xiaohu's shoulder, his tone softer. "Well done, Xiaohu, you've done a great job today!"

Xiaohu grinned, but then whispered, "Captain Qin, what should we do next? The enemy will definitely catch up, right?"

Qin Cang's gaze swept across the surroundings. The shadows of the forest and the rustling of dead leaves filled the air like invisible ghosts. His hand gripped the gun tightly, his eyes less calm and more solemn. This time, his opponent was clearly unusual.

Judging from the intelligence, the enemy's deployment is tight, and their actions are decisive and cautious, which is absolutely not comparable to that of an ordinary team.
