The vicious female supporting role becomes the female lead
Chapter 25 Visit
Chu Qiao was filled with worry for her sister, Chu Hanhan. She knew Chu Hanhan was a studious person, but her frequent absences from family gatherings, often citing academics as an excuse, had left her feeling uneasy. She decided to find time to have a heart-to-heart talk with her.
One night, Chu Qiao called Chu Hanhan. "Hanhan, how are you doing lately? You haven't been home for a long time. Mom and Dad miss you very much."
On the other end of the phone, Chu Hanhan's voice was a little tired. "Qiao Qiao, I know I've been very busy lately and the academic pressure is quite high, but I'm fine, don't worry."
Chu Qiao said softly, "Hanhan, if you have any difficulties, you must tell me. We are sisters and can share the burden together."
Chu Hanhan was silent for a while on the other end of the phone, then said, "Qiao Qiao, I know, thank you. I will find time to go home."
After hanging up the phone, Chu Qiao still felt a little uneasy. She decided to give Chu Hanhan some space, while also thinking about how to help her sister relieve the pressure.
Meanwhile, Chu Hanhan was in the school library, a book in hand, her mind wandering far away. She recalled Bo Zhengting's heroic presence during the kidnapping incident, his resolute gaze. Her heart was filled with mixed emotions. She knew her feelings for Bo Zhengting went beyond friendship, but she also knew they could only remain a secret.
Chu Hanhan took a deep breath and forced herself to focus back on her studies. She knew she needed to use her studies to distract herself from missing Bo Zhengting and to avoid becoming an obstacle between her sister and Bo Zhengting.
A few days later, Chu Qiao decided to visit Chu Hanhan at school. She brought Chu Hanhan's favorite dessert and came to her dormitory. Chu Hanhan was surprised and touched to see Chu Qiao.
Chu Qiao smiled and said, "Hanhan, I know you are very busy, but I missed you, so I came to see you."
A tear flashed in Chu Hanhan's eyes, and she hugged Chu Qiao tightly. "Qiao Qiao, thank you, I'm really touched."
The two sisters sat in the small living room of the dormitory. Chu Qiao looked at Chu Hanhan and said seriously, "Hanhan, no matter how busy you are, you must remember that your family is always here to support you. If you feel tired, go home and rest. We all miss you very much."
Chu Hanhan nodded, her heart filled with gratitude. "Qiao Qiao, I know, I will."
Just then her roommates came back, and one of them said sarcastically, "Hey, who is this? They came all the way to see you."
Another roommate chimed in: "Yeah, you're so busy every day, I don't even know what to do, haha."
Chu Qiao didn't pay attention to what they said. Instead, she smiled and said to Chu Hanhan, "Hanhan, ignore them. Let's talk about our own things."
However, her roommates refused to give in and continued to mock her. Chu Hanhan finally couldn't stand it anymore and stood up and said, "That's enough! Qiao Qiao is my sister. What's wrong with her coming to see me? If you have time to sit here and make sarcastic remarks, you might as well spend more time studying." After that, she pulled Chu Qiao out of the dormitory.
Chu Qiao and Chu Hanhan left the dormitory and walked along the campus path. The streetlights in the night stretched their shadows very long. Chu Qiao gently squeezed Chu Hanhan's hand, trying to convey some comfort and support.
"Hanhan, don't take what those people say to heart. They don't understand you, nor do they understand us." Chu Qiao's voice was calm and firm.
Chu Hanhan sighed, her mood a little complicated. "Qiao Qiao, I know. I just didn't want you to hear those words. You came all the way to see me, you don't deserve to be treated like that."
Chu Qiao stopped and looked at Chu Hanhan seriously. "Hanhan, we are sisters. No matter what others say, it won't change this fact. And, I believe you know that I came to see you because I care about you, not because of what others think."
A tear flashed in Chu Hanhan's eyes, and she hugged Chu Qiao tightly. "Qiao Qiao, thank you. It's great to have you."
The two of them strolled around campus. Chu Qiao suggested they go to the school cafe, hoping a change of scenery might help Chu Hanhan feel better. They ordered two cups of hot coffee and sat by the window, watching the students coming and going outside.
Chu Qiao asked softly, "Hanhan, are you really that busy lately? If you need help, you must tell me and we can work together to find a solution."
Chu Hanhan nodded. She knew Chu Qiao really wanted to help her. "Qiao Qiao, I'm a little busy lately, but I'll take care of it. You don't have to worry about me."
Chu Qiao smiled and said, "Okay, but remember, no matter how busy you are, you must take good care of yourself. If you have any difficulties with your studies, or if you need my help, just let me know."
Chu Hanhan's heart was filled with gratitude. She knew Chu Qiao truly cared about her. She decided not to let those meaningless rumors affect her anymore. She would study harder and live up to Chu Qiao's expectations.
The two chatted for a long time until the cafe was about to close. Chu Qiao insisted on taking Chu Hanhan back to the dormitory to ensure her safe arrival. Downstairs in the dormitory, Chu Qiao hugged Chu Hanhan again.
"Hanhan, no matter what happens, I will support you. Remember, you are not fighting alone."
Chu Hanhan's heart was filled with warmth. She knew that no matter how difficult the road ahead was, as long as Chu Qiao was by her side, she would have the courage to move forward.
After Chu Qiao left, Chu Hanhan returned to the dormitory. Her roommates were gone. She sat down at her desk, took a deep breath, and began to review. She knew she needed to work harder, for her future and to live up to Chu Qiao's love.
Chu Qiao returned home, feeling that Chu Hanhan wasn't doing well at school and must have been bullied, so she decided to investigate. She knew Chu Hanhan had always been an introverted and hardworking child and didn't deserve such treatment. Chu Qiao decided to take action, but she also knew she had to act cautiously to avoid causing Chu Hanhan more trouble.
First, Chu Qiao found Chu Hanhan's deskmate, Lin Xiao, a seemingly quiet and reliable girl. Under Chu Qiao's gentle questioning, Lin Xiao revealed some of the situation in the class, including the names of the girls who often excluded and made things difficult for Chu Hanhan and their behavior patterns.
Chu Qiao thanked Lin Xiao for her help and told her that she would handle these matters carefully and not cause Chu Hanhan any more trouble. Lin Xiao expressed her respect for Chu Qiao's calmness and determination and promised to continue supporting Chu Hanhan in class.
Next, Chu Qiao began quietly gathering evidence. She used her resources and connections, even using her influence at Star Academy when necessary, to obtain records of the girls' misconduct at school. Chu Qiao also found some students who had been bullied by these girls and encouraged them to come forward and tell the truth.
After collecting enough evidence, Chu Qiao chose the right time to submit it to the school management. She insisted that the school investigate these actions and take action to protect all students, especially Chu Hanhan.
The school conducted a thorough investigation into the information provided by Chu Qiao and took swift action. The girls who bullied Chu Hanhan were given appropriate punishments, including warnings, community service, and psychological counseling. The school also strengthened its preventive measures against bullying on campus to ensure all students can learn in a safe and supportive environment.
Chu Hanhan felt a mixture of emotions after learning all this. She felt both relieved and guilty because she didn't want Chu Qiao to take these risks for her. Chu Qiao hugged Chu Hanhan tightly and told her that it wasn't her fault and that she deserved respect and protection.
"Hanhan, you shouldn't endure this unfair treatment. You deserve to be respected and loved." Chu Qiao said firmly.
Chu Hanhan's eyes were filled with tears, but her heart was also filled with gratitude. "Qiao Qiao, I don't know how to thank you. You have done so much for me."
Chu Qiao smiled and shook her head. "We are sisters. This is what we should do for each other."
Over time, Chu Hanhan's situation at school improved significantly. She was no longer ostracized or bullied, but instead gained more support and friendships thanks to Chu Qiao's actions. She began to participate in school activities more confidently, even taking on leadership roles in some projects.
Chu Qiao and Chu Hanhan's relationship grew even closer. She began to visit her home more often, sharing their joys and sorrows. Chu Qiao knew her actions were not just for Chu Hanhan, but for all students who were bullied at school. She hoped that through her efforts, she could create a more just and friendly learning environment.
