On a sunny morning, Lin Wan'er sat at the dining table, a cup of hot milk in her hand, but she didn't have her usual appetite. Lately, she'd been feeling inexplicably tired and nauseous, and a vague suspicion had arisen in her mind.

"Su Ran, I haven't felt right these past few days. I want to go to the hospital for a check-up." Lin Wan'er said with some concern.

Su Ran quickly put down the newspaper in his hand and looked at her with concern: "Wan'er, don't worry too much, we'll know when we go to the hospital."

In the afternoon, the two went to the hospital. After a series of examinations, the doctor told them with a smile: "Congratulations, Ms. Lin is pregnant."

In that instant, the sudden news, like a bolt of lightning piercing the sky, or a clap of thunder on a spring day, burst into Lin Wan'er and Su Ran's worlds with unstoppable force, leaving them defenseless and frozen in place. Time seemed to freeze in that moment, and everything around them became blurry, with only the shocking news echoing in their ears.

However, this brief moment of astonishment was quickly replaced by an uncontrollable surge of joy. Like a surging tide, it continuously surged from the depths of their hearts, quickly flooding every cell in their bodies. First, the corners of their mouths lifted unconsciously, forming a brilliant smile; then, their eyes sparkled with excitement, like the brightest stars in the night sky; finally, even their bodies trembled slightly, as if trying to release the overflowing joy in this way.

"Wow! Doctor, are we going to be parents?" Su Ran's voice floated with excitement.

The doctor smiled and nodded: "Yes, it has been two months. When you go back, you must pay more attention to rest and keep a good mood."

After leaving the hospital, Su Ran held Lin Wan'er's hand tightly, as if he was holding the most precious treasure in the world.

After returning home, Su Ran immediately became cautious. He let Lin Wan'er lie on the sofa to rest, while he was busy preparing fruits and nutritious meals.

"Wan'er, from now on, you don't have to worry about anything. I will take good care of you and the baby." Su Ran said firmly.

Lin Wan'er looked at his busy figure and was deeply moved.

In the evening, Su Ran gently stroked Lin Wan'er's belly and said softly, "Baby, Daddy and Mommy are looking forward to your arrival."

Lin Wan'er smiled and said, "I don't know if it's a little princess or a little prince."

"Whether it's a boy or a girl, they are our babies," Su Ran said.

The next day, Su Ran got up early and bought a bunch of books about pregnancy care and parenting, and began to study them seriously.

In the following days, Su Ran would accompany Lin Wan'er for a walk every day, tell her jokes, and keep her in a good mood.

Lin Wan'er also felt the changes in her body, and she began to prepare small clothes and toys for the baby.

"Su Ran, look how cute this little dress is." Lin Wan'er said, holding a pink baby dress.

Su Ran came over and said: "Yes, our baby will look very beautiful in it."

After hearing the news, parents from both sides rushed over, bringing various nutritional supplements and concern.

"Wan'er, you have to eat more to nourish my grandson." Grandma said with a smile.

"Mom, don't worry. We don't know whether it will be a grandson or a granddaughter yet." Lin Wan'er said.
