Traveling through Thailand
Chapter 53 Ending
"My son's life is in your hands."
"Don't worry, I will do my best to snatch him back from the hands of death."
After watching the plane fly away, Xiao's father picked up his phone and dialed a number. After the call was connected, a cold voice came from his mouth: "Tell Zero, don't wait, I want to hear the news tonight." After that, he hung up the phone.
He walked up to the man, who had been shot multiple times and was now dead, his eyes full of thoughts. He saw the car in front of him facing this way and said, "Copy the contents of the dashcam."
"Yes."
Everyone started to get busy, moving the bodies lying around to one place.
Cai stepped forward and said, "There are more than two hundred people here. Seven of them died in different ways."
Xiao's father took the cigarette and put it in his mouth. Cai was about to light it for him. Xiao's father dodged and said, "No, just smell it."
When he heard this number, he wasn't too surprised. Ever since they left Dragon Country and arrived here, their number had been in front of him.
Following Cai to the seven bodies placed separately, I saw the horrific scratches on their necks at a glance.
"No need to release them separately, just put them together. There's nothing else to do here, so you can go first. By the way, give my regards to your boss and thank him for his help."
The God of Wealth's expression was serious and filled with guilt: "We didn't do anything. This is basically all the credit of you, young master."
"You guys protected the most important person in his heart, right? That alone is enough to make me thank you."
Cai left with his men.
Father Xiao looked at the pile of corpses and said coldly, "Burn them all."
"Yes."
The fire slowly grew, and a foul odor began to fill the air. Father Xiao stood there as if oblivious to the fumes, his eyes etched with raging fire.
"gentlemen."
Father Xiao took the blood-stained document and read the words clearly: "Oh, the older you get, the more confused you become. Put it away and use it as evidence when you meet with those old guys."
"Yes, there's one more thing."
"explain."
"The camera in the young master's car perfectly recorded the process of him being killed."
"Yeah. You know what to do."
"clear."
Father Xiao turned and left this stinking place and got on another helicopter: "Don't tell my wife for now. Tell her when things are stable."
"Yes."
Father Xiao sat on the plane, his eyes closed, resting, his mind racing with plans. He wondered how to quickly identify all of those old men's minions and put an end to them once and for all. He no longer had the patience to play house with them.
"Notify them, no need to wait any longer, and kill all the fish under supervision. I'll personally take the rest that haven't been found."
"Yes, sir."
Sky had no idea where the plane was heading to. His mind was always on him and he had no time to think about anything else.
Watching Xiao Yi enter the operating room, Sky looked at the closed door and felt empty in his heart.
He stood at the door for an unknown amount of time. He only knew the sound of a heart stopping several times, and heard blood vessels rupturing and bleeding profusely. Nurses alone came out several times, all calling for blood bags, and then one critical report after another was delivered. Sky, like a third-party vision, watched the medical staff coming in and out, rushing to the front lines to save lives.
Sky didn't dare approach the nurse to ask how the surgery was going, fearing that a small move would waste precious time. He didn't know how long he waited, only that from dusk to complete darkness, and then to the next morning. The lights in the operating room never went out.
"Sky."
Hearing someone calling him, Sky looked up. The man in front of him looked a bit like Xiao Yi. Slowly turning his rusty brain, Sky blinked a few times: "Uncle?"
"Well, it's me."
"He, hasn't come out yet." Sky had a dry throat and it was a bit difficult for him to speak, but he still managed to finish his words haltingly.
"I know. It's just that you're not in good condition right now. Go back and rest."
Xky shook his head and looked at the closed door. "No, I want to wait for him to come out." He wanted to be the first to hear good news, to see his breathing steady. He was afraid that after leaving, he would receive bad news; he was afraid that he would see him in that cold morgue again.
"Don't let yourself get hurt before anyone else gets out in your current state. Listen to me, kid. Only if you take care of yourself can you have enough energy to take care of him."
Sky looked at himself now, his body covered in dried blood, and only now could he smell the blood. He pursed his lips, unwilling to agree with his suggestion, but his words made sense. Only by taking good care of himself could he have the energy to care for him after he finished the surgery.
After struggling for a long time, Sky looked at the closed door and said softly, "Okay."
"I'll send someone to escort you back. Take a bath and relax, then eat something and get some sleep. Come back when you've rested, and maybe you'll see him."
Sky pursed his dry lips and nodded slightly: "Okay."
Father Xiao asked his assistant to be responsible for the escort mission, and there were several other cars following behind their car.
Sky returned safely to the residential area under the escort of his assistant.
"Master Sky, is there anything you want to eat? I'll buy it for you." After sending the man to the door, the assistant asked.
"Porridge bar."
"What flavor?"
"Plain porridge."
"Okay. Then you have a good rest, I'll go buy it right away."
After entering, Sky headed straight for the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, he was immediately struck by how filthy he looked. His face was pale, and dried blood stains were clearly visible. His lips were chapped and covered in dead skin, and his clothes were a horrible sight.
In this enclosed space, the smell of blood on his body made him want to vomit. He hugged the toilet and retched for a while, his stomach, which had already been unable to eat anything, churned, and with each wave of retching, bitter bile overflowed his entire mouth.
Afterward, he slumped to the ground, panting heavily. It took him a long time to undress. He turned on the showerhead, and a spray of cool water streamed down his head. After the cool water, hot water followed. He felt the warm water flow down his cheeks, shoulders, chest, and other places. Only then did he begin to wash the remaining blood off his body.
When he came out of the bathroom, the packed pumpkin porridge was already on the table.
Sky quietly walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat down. There was a bowl of soft, stewed white porridge, with pickles on a small plate.
The assistant watched him walk to the table, sit down, and begin to eat, his worries subsided. He was deeply concerned that this young man, who had rarely seen darkness, would collapse. After all, a normal, well-behaved college student, shooting someone in that situation—though it was self-rescue—wasn't something an ordinary person could do, not to mention the numerous shots he fired in the end. Even if it was impulsive at the time, it would surely be hard to look back on.
I walked into the bathroom and saw his changed clothes, then took out a black garbage bag from my pocket and put them in.
"Master Sky, I'll take the dirty laundry and dispose of it. After you finish eating, rest up. Once you've rested, I'll come and take you to the hospital."
Sky, who was numbly putting the porridge into his mouth, heard his words, nodded slightly without replying.
When everyone reached the entrance and opened the door to go out, Sky's voice suddenly came: "Call me if he leaves the operating room."
"Yes."
The door slammed shut, and Sky's calm face suddenly changed into a look of pain. He stood up from the chair and quickly ran to the bathroom, holding the toilet and vomiting violently. After vomiting out everything he had eaten, Sky fell weakly against the wall.
"Yi, you must hold on." You must, hold on.
After coming out of the bathroom, Sky didn't even glance at the remaining porridge on the table. He went to Xiao Yi's room, opened the door, walked in, and lay down on the soft bed. Breathing in the lingering scent, he wrapped himself tightly in it. The fear in his heart finally dissipated a little, and he slowly relaxed his mind and fell into a deep sleep.
