HP Star Shining
Chapter 88
"See?" said Ron. "There are Dementors all over the streets. How is Black going to get into Honeydukes? And the owner will definitely find out. They live above the shop."
"But...but..." Hermione seemed to be trying hard to find another problem. "Listen, Harry and Xingchen still shouldn't come to Hogsmeade. They don't have a signed permit, and it will be a big trouble if they are discovered. Especially Harry. It's not even sunset yet. What if Black is on the street?"
"It won't be easy for him to find Harry in this weather." Ron looked out the eaves.
Heavy snow was falling from the sky. Not long after the four people came out, the drifting snowflakes had already covered their shoulders and arms with a thin white layer.
"Okay, Hermione, let's have a happy Christmas." Su Xingchen patted Hermione on the shoulder.
"Xingchen is right. See those fizzing honey candies, Harry?" Ron dragged Harry towards Honeydukes. He hadn't bought his candy yet.
"And frozen slugs and sour poppers. Fred gave me one when I was seven and it burned a hole in my tongue, so Mom beat him with a broomstick. Do you think he would have tried that cockroach skewer if I'd said it was peanuts?"
Ron's voice faded away as he closed the shop door.
Hermione bit her lip, still looking worried.
"It'll be fine." Su Xingchen gently brushed off the thin snow on her shoulders.
"I haven't told you yet, Xingchen, don't always follow Harry in making trouble." Hermione was helpless. She knew that Harry would not listen to her advice, and the people who could make him listen were also making trouble beside her.
"No way." Su Xingchen blinked his doe eyes, looking innocent. "I just want to try the butter beer you mentioned last time."
"Heh." Hermione sneered. Want to use this trick again?
"In first year, Harry and Malfoy were going to duel. If you had stopped him, we wouldn't have encountered the three-headed dog, and..."
Huh~ Bringing up old scores? At this point, there are only thirty-six strategies left!
"Ah!" Su Xingchen exclaimed and interrupted Hermione, "I just saw a kind of candy that looks delicious. I want to buy some!" After that, he opened the shop door and walked into Honeydukes without waiting for a response.
Hermione's brow twitched. Anyone who believed this was a fool. Someone who didn't like candy suddenly wanted to buy candy. Did she look like a fool?
But there was no other way. Seeing the person trying to move towards Harry and Ron, Hermione opened the door and followed him in. She had to keep a closer eye on her from now on. The person who used to be so sweet and gentle (fog?) had changed after spending so much time with Harry.
Harry and the other two bought a lot of candies, and Su Xingchen also bought a few particularly nice ones. She could put them in the dormitory even if she didn't eat them, which was pleasing to the eye.
The three of them left Honeydukes and walked into the blizzard, braving the wind.
Hogsmeade looked like a Christmas town on a postcard. The low thatched cottages and shops were covered with a thick layer of white snow. Holly wreaths were hung on the doors, smoke rose from the chimneys, and the trees in front of the doors were decorated with enchanted candles.
"That's the post office."
"Kozo's Joke Shop is right out front."
"Look over there, that's the Shrieking Shack. We can go check it out."
Ron and Hermione, who had been there once, buried their faces in their scarves and kept introducing the two people.
Su Xingchen shuddered. It was a mistake. She forgot to put on her cloak before coming out. She had been wearing this outfit when she was sitting in front of the stove.
She curled her lips, feeling aggrieved and sad, as if every winter she always had the chance to freeze like a fool.
I saw that Harry, who was at the outermost edge, seemed to have his upper and lower teeth chattering, but he said nothing.
Su Xingchen thought he might be too embarrassed to say it out of his manly pride, so he suggested, "How about we go to the Three Brooms for a Butterbeer? I'm so cold."
Harry seemed to hear the sound of nature, and his hands and feet were frozen in the biting cold wind.
So the four of them crossed the street and went into a small bar a few minutes later.
Su Xingchen and Harry both lowered their heads to avoid being recognized.
But that didn't stop her from taking a peek. The Three Broomsticks was about the same size as the Leaky Cauldron, only smaller.
It was extremely crowded, noisy, hot and smoky.
A beautiful, curvaceous woman was tending to a group of noisy wizards at the bar.
"That's Madam Rosmerta," said Ron. "I'll get the drinks."
"Is he blushing?" Su Xingchen asked.
"Yes." Harry nodded.
Hermione squeezed to the back of the bar where there was a small empty table between the window and a Christmas tree, next to the fireplace, and she beckoned Harry and them over.
After Su Xingchen sat down, she looked at Ron again. He was talking to Ms. Rosmerta, who exuded mature and sexy beauty, with a blushing face.
Well, how should I put it... I can only say that Ron has quite a wide range of interests.
She glanced at Hermione with a hint of sympathy.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked.
"It's okay, this seat is great." Su Xingchen likes the seat by the window, and there's a fireplace next to it so it won't be cold. How come no one is sitting in such a good seat?
She looked at the bustling crowd in front of her. Perhaps people who came to the bar liked to sit near the bar? Or maybe it was the beauty effect?
Five minutes later, Ron arrived with four steaming mugs of Butterbeer.
Su Xingchen held the cup to warm her hands and looked curiously at the foam that kept coming out of it. It was the first time she saw hot beer.
"Merry Christmas!" Ron said cheerfully, raising his glass.
"Merry Christmas!" Everyone raised their beer glasses and clinked them together.
Harry took a long swig; it was the most delicious drink he had ever tasted, and it seemed to warm every inch of his body.
Suddenly a cool breeze ruffled his hair, and the door of Three Brooms was pushed open. He looked over the rim of the cup and choked.
Professors McGonagall and Flitwick came into the bar in a blizzard, followed by Hagrid, who was chatting intimately with a fat man.
The fat man wore a dark yellow-green dome-shaped hard hat and a pinstriped cloak.
Harry knew him, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge.
In an instant, Hermione and Ron put their hands on Harry's head, pushed him down from the chair, and hid him under the table. Then Su Xingchen was stuffed in in the same way.
She and Harry looked at each other in bewilderment, their faces full of expressions that said, "What happened? Where am I?"
Harry mouthed, "Professor McGonagall."
Oh, I see. Su Xingchen nodded hurriedly to show that she understood, and then shrank back into the table. She was sitting with her back to the door so she didn't see it.
Harry saw a ball of white foam around Su Xingchen's mouth and thought she looked like a little hamster raised by Muggles. He tried his best to suppress the corners of his mouth that wanted to rise and nodded gently.
Su Xingchen understood immediately and began to wipe the remaining foam from the corner of her mouth in a hurry, pretending not to notice that Harry wanted to laugh.
Alas, some people behave honestly all their lives, but they will be caught if they do something slightly bad.
As luck would have it, she has this kind of physique.
