HP Star Shining

Chapter 158

"That's what you said!" Cedric's eyes became visibly brighter, and the smile on his face changed from gentle and steady to warm and flamboyant.

Uh, that's what she said.

But she didn't say anything that would make people so happy.

Su Xingchen scratched his ears. Could it be that his previous behavior caused a misunderstanding?

She wanted to ask for clarification, but Cedric had already left the Gryffindor table, as if afraid that she would change her mind.

Forget it, let’s talk about it after the game.

"So, Hagrid told you at the Three Broomsticks to go find him in the middle of the night?" Su Xingchen whispered in surprise.

Harry and Hermione had returned from Hogsmeade, and the three of them were huddled together. If anyone paid attention to them, they would notice that they were acting suspiciously.

Harry nodded. "Why did Hagrid ask me to go find him in the middle of the night?"

Why else? Of course it’s to ask you to go see the dragon, Su Xingchen hinted.

Only, it turned out to be Hagrid, not Hermione.

Because this plot was quite interesting at the time, she remembered it very clearly.

"I don't understand what he's thinking. I don't know if you should go, Harry." Hermione also looked a little surprised. She looked around nervously and squeezed out a sound through her teeth, "If things go wrong, you'll be late to see Sirius."

Indeed, going to see Hagrid at midnight meant that he had to stick to a tight schedule so as not to miss his meeting with Sirius.

Harry finally did not listen to Hermione's advice and asked Hedwig to send a letter to Hagrid saying that he would not go. He was very curious and wanted to know what was going on. Hagrid had never asked him to go out in the middle of the night.

At half past eleven at night, Harry, who had pretended to be asleep early, quietly put on his invisibility cloak and went to the common room.

There were a few other people in the common room.

Harry walked over to Su Xingchen and touched her hand.

She was not frightened by this and walked towards the Creevey brothers who were very close to the cave entrance.

The two of them got a bunch of badges supporting Cedric from somewhere and were trying to use magic to change the words on them to support Harry Potter. However, after a lot of effort, they could only fix the badges on the words "Potter Stinky Shit".

"Let me see..." Su Xingchen went over to attract the attention of the Creevey brothers, and Harry tiptoed past them and walked to the door.

About a minute later, Hermione opened the Fat Lady's portrait from the outside as planned.

"Thank you," Harry whispered, and he darted past her and out of the Gryffindor common room.

Hermione walked in calmly and greeted Su Xingchen. The two of them acted as if Hermione had just returned from outside.

It was pitch black outside Hogwarts Castle, with only an invisible figure running towards Hagrid's hut where the light was shining.

When Harry knocked on Hagrid's door, he could hear Madame Maxime's voice in the carriage.

"There you are, Harry," whispered Hagrid, opening the door and looking around.

"Yeah," Harry whispered. "What do you want from me?"

"Come with me, don't make any noise, and don't take off your invisibility cloak." Brother Hai looked very excited. He had a flower pinned to his chest and no longer used mechanical lubricant to comb his hair, but it was obvious that he had put a lot of effort into tidying up his hair, because the broken teeth of the comb were still stuck in the gaps between his hair.

"Hagrid, listen, I can't stay long. I have to be back before one..."

Hagrid didn't listen to what Harry said as he opened the door and stepped out into the darkness.

Harry hurried after him.

He was greatly surprised, for Hagrid was leading him towards the Beauxbatons carriage.

"Hagrid..."

"Shh," whispered Hagrid, and knocked three times on the door emblazoned with two crossed golden wands.

Madame Maxime opened the door.

She had a silk shawl wrapped around her enormous shoulders and smiled slightly at the sight of Hagrid.

"Good evening," Hagrid said with a smile, extending a hand to help Madame Maxime down the golden steps.

Arm in arm, the two walked towards the edge of the makeshift enclosure where Madame Maxime's giant silver winged horses were kept.

Harry was completely confused and jogged aimlessly to catch up with the two.

Was it Madame Maxime that Hagrid wanted him to see? But he could see her any time he wanted, and she was so large...hard to miss.

Madame Maxime seemed to have received the same treatment as Harry, for after a moment she asked, almost jokingly, "Where are you taking me, Hagrid?"

"You'll like it," said Hagrid in a gruff voice. "Trust me, it's well worth seeing. But don't tell anyone, okay? You're not supposed to know."

"Of course I won't say anything." Ms. Maxime's long black eyelashes fluttered.

They kept walking, and Harry trotted after them, glancing at his watch with increasing anxiety.

Hagrid has a harebrained plan that could ruin his meeting with Sirius.

They had now walked quite far around the edge of the Forbidden Forest, and the castle and the lake were out of sight.

Harry thought that if he couldn't reach his destination soon, he should turn around and go back to Hogwarts, leaving Hagrid and Madam Maxime to enjoy their moonlit stroll alone.

Just then, he heard a noise.

Several men in front shouted loudly, followed by a deafening shrill roar.

Hagrid led Madame Maxime around a clump of trees and stopped.

Harry followed closely and stood not far from them.

In that brief moment, his mouth opened in surprise.

That is - a fire dragon.

Four ferocious-looking adult fire dragons were imprisoned in an enclosure surrounded by thick wooden boards. They stood up on their hind legs and roared.

Their breathing made a wheezing sound, and balls of fire spewed out of their fanged mouths and shot into the dark night sky.

A silver-blue fire dragon with a pair of long pointed horns was angrily roaring at the wizards in the venue; a green fire dragon with smooth scales was twisting and stomping its feet desperately; a red fire dragon had a circle of strange-looking thin pointed horns on its face, and was spraying mushroom-shaped fire clouds into the sky.

The last one was a giant black dragon, which looked more ferocious than the other three. It was also the one closest to the three people.

There were at least thirty wizards on the field, with seven or eight of them fighting against a fire dragon.

They tugged at the chains that connected to the thick leather straps that bound the dragons' necks and feet, desperately trying to subdue them.

Harry looked up and saw the eyes of the black dragon from a very high place.

Its pupils stood up like Crookshanks', but Crookshanks' eyes were on a completely different level.

Perhaps because of anger or fear, its eyes bulged out and it made a terrifying sound, a shrill and piercing wail.

Harry was completely stunned.
