HP Star Shining
Chapter 121
Mr. Weasley picked up his old boots and walked over to two tired-looking, sullen-looking wizards who were trying hard to look like Muggles, but were not quite successful.
One wore a floral tweed suit with thigh-high rubber overshoes, while the other wore a South American-style shawl on the upper body and a traditional Scottish pleated kilt on the lower body.
It's so irritating that it's unbearable to watch.
The wizard in the kilt tossed the old boots Mr. Weasley had handed him into a large box nearby, which already contained an old newspaper, a rotten football, and a crushed empty soda can.
Su Xingchen smiled secretly. Fortunately, it was not in China, otherwise this can would have no chance of becoming a door key.
"Xingchen?" Hermione looked at her curiously.
"It's okay, it's okay. I just thought of something funny."
"Weasley... Weasley..." The wizard named Basil, wearing a short skirt, searched on a piece of parchment. "In the first field ahead, the camp manager is Mr. Roberts. Diggory, you're in the second field, looking for Mr. Payne."
We walked through the deserted swamp, and could hardly see anything in the thick fog.
About twenty minutes later, they arrived at a campsite. Inside the stone gate were hundreds of strangely shaped tents and the only Muggle there, the administrator, Mr. Roberts.
After saying goodbye to the Diggory family, Mr. Weasley took everyone to find the administrator to inquire about the reserved location. Su Xingchen now understood why everyone had to wear Muggle clothes. At first she thought it was because they had to hike up the mountain, but it turned out that they had come to a real Muggle campsite.
I also understood what Mr. Weasley meant when he kept saying on the way here that hosting the World Cup was a very difficult task. There was no venue in the wizarding world large enough to host this international event.
The poor administrator has been cast the Memory Charm more than a dozen times because wizards always find out.
There were all kinds of strange costumes, some couldn't control themselves and talked about Quidditch and were overheard by the administrators, some tried their best to make the tents look like Muggle tents but added unnecessary things, such as chimneys or direction signs, and some tents were obviously enchanted.
In the center of the venue, a tent stood out. It was draped in a dazzling array of silk strips, resembling a palace, with live peacocks tethered to the entrance. A little further on, a tent resembled a four-story building, complete with several turrets. Even more impressive, a garden had been erected at the entrance, complete with fountains and birdbaths.
In the words of Mr. Weasley, there are always some people who like to show off.
But how can this not arouse suspicion?
Mr. Weasley led everyone to the woods at the end of the field, where there was an open space where they would set up camp.
The Weasleys had never set up a tent by hand, and of course neither had Harry, Hermione, and Su Xingchen, but at least the three of them could understand the blueprints.
Finally, with everyone's efforts, they set up two crooked tents, because Mr. Weasley was always making trouble. He was too interested in Muggle affairs and was always eager to try with a hammer.
Everyone admired the fruits of their labor.
However, Harry wondered, when Bill, Charlie, and Percy arrived, how would the eleven of them squeeze into these two small tents? Hermione had obviously thought of this problem, and she looked at Harry with a puzzled look.
Su Xingchen seemed very excited. In addition to working with a group of people to set up a tent, although she had been a wizard for three years, she had never seen the magical space magic.
Mr. Weasley was the first to enter the first tent. "It might be a little crowded, but I think everyone will be able to squeeze in," he said.
When Harry crawled into the tent through the door curtain, his jaw dropped at the sight before him.
This is a three-bedroom apartment with a bathroom and kitchen.
"I borrowed it from Perkins in the office. The poor fellow has got a lumbago and can't camp any more."
Su Xingchen understood from Mr. Weasley's words that it was not easy to cast space magic. It was more like a monk's magic weapon, a portable cave.
Everyone came out of the first tent and prepared to go into the second tent to take a look. That was where the three girls rested.
The sun rose overhead and the mist gradually dissipated.
Looking from where they were, there were tents in all directions, stretching as far as the eye could see.
This was the first time that Su Xingchen and Harry intuitively felt that there were so many wizards all over the world.
The campers on the field also began to move around.
The first to make noises came from the tents with children. A little wizard, about two years old, was squatting at the door of a pyramid-shaped tent. He was holding a magic wand in his hand and happily poking a slug on the grass. The slug slowly grew to the size of a sausage.
"How many times have I told you, Kevin, you are not allowed to touch your father's wand!" A woman hurried out of the tent and stepped on the fat insect with a "crack", and the slug exploded.
Her roar echoed in the silent air, mixed with the little boy's cries, "You crushed the bugs! You crushed the bugs!"
Su Xingchen shrank back. Naughty kids don't discriminate by species or age. She turned and crawled into the second tent, hoping to block out some of the noise.
The second tent was the same as the first, a little smaller, but spacious enough for three girls. Considering the eight guys would have to squeeze in...
After settling in, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Su Xingchen planned to go out for a walk. After all, Harry and Su Xingchen had always been ignorant of the affairs of wizards and had little knowledge.
They walked slowly among the tents, looking left and right with great interest.
They met their Gryffindor classmates, Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas. All the tents in this area supported the Irish team, so their tents were covered with green shamrocks, which looked like all kinds of strange-shaped hills popping up from the ground.
"I'd love to see what the Bulgarians have hanging on their tents," said Hermione.
"Let's go and take a look." Harry pointed to a large group of tents in front, where the Bulgarian flag was hung. The white, green and red flag fluttered in the breeze.
As they approached, they saw that the tents were not covered with any vegetation, but each tent had a sticker showing a very gloomy face with thick, dark eyebrows.
The sticker was movable, but the face did nothing but blink and frown.
It looked very familiar, Su Xingchen thought she knew who it was.
"Krum," Ron whispered. "Viktor Krum, the Bulgarian Seeker."
"He looks so gloomy," Hermione said as she looked at the countless Krums around her blinking and frowning at her.
