HP Star Shining
Chapter 109
"At our Gryffindor celebration just now."
For a moment, Draco's face was extremely stiff, and he couldn't spit out or swallow the candy in his mouth.
Su Xingchen tilted his head. Hehe, I got it.
This naughty kid always likes to steal her things and even dares to pretend to be a Dementor to scare people?
God knows, she seemed even more afraid of Dementors than Harry was.
However, she understands the principle that too much is as bad as too little.
Just a little prank.
"I was kidding." She said with a smile, "I bought it myself."
That’s right, those are the ones I bought when I secretly went to Hogsmeade with Harry for the first time.
Draco glared at the culprit who almost choked him to death, but the culprit didn't seem guilty at all.
Looking at the bright smiling face in front of him, Draco held the candy in his mouth and stretched out a hand.
He pinched the cheek that he had always wanted to touch.
Su Xingchen couldn't help but widen his eyes. This guy has no moral principles! Why did he resort to violence?
It's soft and feels better than I imagined.
Draco loosened his grip in the face of the incredulous gaze of the person in front of him, withdrew his hand, and remained calm and composed.
"The punishment for lying."
Ah... this. It seems that there is no way to refute it.
Su Xingchen was stunned.
Lost money? Lost money!
Although it wasn't strong, ideology was important! No one except Hermione had ever pinched her cheek, and once it happened, it would happen again.
Someone who was forced to stop became more and more angry, but he couldn't deny that he was in the wrong.
Draco looked at the girl in front of him who seemed quite unconvinced but dared not say a word, and his heart softened a little.
See, even if I try to be bad, I am no match for him, he is so stupid.
"Go back, curfew is almost here." He softened his tone involuntarily.
"Oh, okay." Su·Stupid·Xingchen, immersed in the feeling of huge loss, went back without thinking.
Harry was ecstatic for at least a week after winning the Quidditch House Cup.
As June approaches, the weather starts to become clear and cloudless, and it's hot all day long.
It makes you want to just wander around the courtyard with an ice-cold drink, or sit down and play a few rounds of Goblin stones.
Unfortunately not.
The arrival of summer means the approach of exams, and most students have to stay in the castle, forcing their brains to concentrate on the upcoming exams.
Even Fred and George had started studying hard, as they were taking their OWLs (Ordinary Wizarding Levels) this year, while Percy was preparing to take his NEWTs (New Intermediate Wizarding Tests).
Harry no longer lacked time to complete his homework as before, so Su Xingchen finally didn't have to look up information for him.
Hermione was still nervous, and Harry and Ron had stopped asking her how she could take several courses at once.
But after seeing her exam timetable, Ron couldn't help but ask cautiously, "Hermione, are you sure you copied all these times correctly?"
"What?" Hermione screamed, grabbing the timetable and checking it. "Yes, of course it is."
"How can you sit in two exam rooms at the same time? Does this question make sense?" Harry said.
"No," said Hermione flatly. "Have any of you seen my Numerology and Grammar?" She began to rummage through the pile of parchment on the table.
Su Xingchen glanced at Ron. She remembered that Ron had taken it away, but it was obvious that he didn't dare to tell Hermione about it now when she was about to explode.
Hedwig flew in with wings flapping, a piece of paper in his mouth.
The content of the note was not pleasant. Buckbeak's appeal was scheduled for the 6th, and the Ministry of Magic would send someone, an official and an executioner.
Hermione looked up in surprise. "They're bringing in the executioner. It sounds like the verdict has already been passed."
"Yeah." Harry mused.
"No!" Ron roared. "I've spent so much time researching this, they can't just sit there and do nothing."
But that's the reality.
Harry had a horrible hunch that the Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures had accepted Mr. Malfoy's decision.
Worst of all, they didn't have time to see Hagrid now, as the strict new security measures had not yet been lifted, and he couldn't go down to the One-Eyed Witch to retrieve his Invisibility Cloak.
As exam week began, Hogwarts became unusually quiet.
The first Transfiguration exam was to turn a teapot into a turtle. Hermione had guessed correctly, and the afternoon Charms class was indeed about the Happy Charm.
The next morning, Hagrid organized an exam for the Care of Magical Creatures class.
He looked preoccupied, as if his mind was not on the exam at all.
After bringing up a large bucket of Flobberworms, he said that as long as the caterpillars that everyone cared for were still alive after an hour, the test would be passed. These caterpillars survived even when they were completely ignored, making this the easiest test.
It also gave the four of them a chance to talk to Hagrid.
"Buckbeak's a bit down." Hagrid leaned over, pretending to check if Flobberworm was still alive. "He's been cooped up too long, but... we'll know tomorrow whether that's a good thing or a bad thing."
Hagrid seemed to still have some luck in his mind. If he didn't know the plot, Su Xingchen didn't think there was anything good in this situation.
The Potions exam in the afternoon was a disaster for Harry. He couldn't make the potion thicker. Snape stood beside him with a smug look on his face. Before leaving, he wrote something in his notebook, which looked like a big zero.
Su Xingchen did very poorly in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, and Lupin gave him the most unusual test he had ever seen, an outdoor test similar to an obstacle course.
They must wade through a deep pool filled with Grindelwalds, navigate a series of pits filled with red caps, enter a swamp, ignore misleading instructions from a hinkypunk, and finally, crawl into an old trunk and fight a boggart.
The last exam is divination.
Harry, Ron and Su Xingchen climbed up to the eighth floor and sat on the spiral staircase outside the Divination classroom, waiting for Professor Trelawney to call their names one by one.
Ron felt that his test results were not ideal, and Su Xingchen...she just made it up. There was nothing wrong with it, and she didn't want to be paranoid.
Harry, on the other hand, had a strange look on his face as he climbed down the stairs.
"What's wrong?" Ron asked. "Did she say anything to threaten you?"
"I don't know." Harry wasn't sure whether he had heard a genuine prophecy from Professor Trelawney, or if she thought it was a unique way to end the exam.
He lowered his voice and told the two, "She said the Dark Lord is coming back, and his servants will be returned to him tonight."
"I think she's just exaggerating again." Ron didn't believe it.
Su Xingchen knew this plot, and this time he really predicted it.
Hermione came running over with a note in her hand.
"Buckbeak lost the case. Hagrid just sent it."
Harry snatched the note. This time it was dry. Hagrid wasn't crying, but his hands were shaking so badly that the handwriting was difficult to make out.
Lost the case, executed at sunset. You can't help, so don't come. I don't want you to see it.
Hagrid
