Traveling through thousands of years, I only love you

Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi decided to participate in a volunteer activity together to help those in need.

On the day of the event, they arrived at the meeting place early. Li Lingyuan wore simple jeans and a white T-shirt, with a neat ponytail, while Xiao Yi wore casual sportswear, looking particularly energetic.

The person in charge assigned tasks to everyone, and Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi were assigned to deliver daily necessities to the lonely elderly. They carried large and small bags of things and walked into an old residential area.

When they arrived at an old lady's house, Li Lingyuan knocked gently and said, "Grandma, we are here." The door opened and the old lady saw them with a kind smile on her face.

"Children, come in quickly," said the old lady.

Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi walked into the house, put down their things, and began to help clean. Li Lingyuan took a rag and wiped the furniture carefully, while Xiao Yi picked up a broom and swept the floor carefully.

"Xiao Yi, do you think it's a bit dirty here?" Li Lingyuan said, pointing to a corner.

Xiao Yi walked over and took a look, "I'll clean it."

After cleaning, Li Lingyuan sat next to the old lady and chatted with her. "Grandma, how are you feeling lately?" The old lady held her hand and said, "I'm fine, thanks to you good children."

Xiao Yi went into the kitchen to prepare lunch for the old lady. He washed and cut vegetables with skillful movements. Li Lingyuan walked into the kitchen and hugged Xiao Yi from behind, "Dear, you have worked hard." Xiao Yi turned around and kissed her, "For you, it's not hard."

Lunch was ready, and they ate with the old lady. Li Lingyuan picked up some food for the old lady and said, "Grandma, eat more." The old lady smiled from ear to ear and said, "You guys eat too."

After leaving the old lady's house, they went to the homes of several other lonely elderly people and did the same thing. At the end of the day, although they were a little tired, their hearts were filled with warmth.

In the evening, the event ended. Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi were walking home. Li Lingyuan took Xiao Yi's arm and said, "Xiao Yi, although I'm a little tired today, I'm very happy." Xiao Yi looked at her and said, "Me too. As long as I'm with you, everything I do is meaningful."

After returning home, Li Lingyuan collapsed on the sofa. "Oh, I can't even walk anymore." Xiao Yi smiled and sat next to her, massaging her shoulders. "Relax, just relax."

Li Lingyuan was enjoying Xiao Yi's massage and suddenly sat up. "Xiao Yi, we should participate in more activities like this in the future." Xiao Yi nodded. "Okay, I'll do as you say."

A few days later, they went to an orphanage together again. When the children saw them, they all gathered around them.

"Hello, brothers and sisters." The children's innocent smiles melted their hearts.

Li Lingyuan took out the toys and snacks he had brought and distributed them to the children, while Xiao Yi played games with the children, and the yard was filled with laughter.

There was a little girl who kept holding Li Lingyuan's hand, "Sister, can you accompany me to draw?" Li Lingyuan happily agreed, sat at the table with the little girl, and drew seriously.

Xiao Yi looked at Li Lingyuan's gentle appearance and his heart was filled with love.

They spent a pleasant afternoon in the orphanage, and when they left, the children were reluctant to leave.

"Brothers and sisters, you must come again." the children shouted.

Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi promised to come again.

In the following days, they participated in various volunteer activities together and their feelings grew deeper and deeper.

Once, they went to the mountainous area to deliver supplies to impoverished families. The mountain road was difficult to navigate, and Li Lingyuan accidentally sprained her ankle. Xiao Yi carried her on his back, feeling distressed. "It's all my fault for not taking good care of you." Li Lingyuan lay on Xiao Yi's back, "It's not your fault. I'm not afraid as long as you're with me."

When they arrived at their destination, they delivered the supplies to the poor families. Seeing the grateful eyes of the people, they felt that everything was worth it.

At night, they stayed at a local farmer's house. Li Lingyuan's feet were swollen, so Xiao Yi brought some hot water and washed her feet. "Does it hurt?" Li Lingyuan shook her head. "With you here, it doesn't hurt."

That night at the farmer's home, although the conditions were simple, their hearts were closely connected.

As time goes by, their volunteer journey continues, and every experience makes them cherish each other more and makes their love stronger.
