Traveling through thousands of years, I only love you

On a sunny weekend, Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi decided to participate in a couple challenge held in a city.

The competition was bustling with activity, with couples eager to show off their skills. Li Lingyuan held Xiao Yi's arm tightly, her eyes sparkling with excitement. The first event of the competition was the "Couple Compatibility Test." The host asked various questions to test the couple's understanding. Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi exchanged glances, each one brimming with confidence. When the host asked Xiao Yi about his favorite color, Li Lingyuan answered without hesitation, "Blue!" Xiao Yi smiled and gave a thumbs-up. When it was Xiao Yi's turn to answer Li Lingyuan's most feared animal, he accurately answered, "Spider." Their rapport earned them a high score in this segment.

Next up was the "double rope skipping" competition. Xiao Yi and Li Lingyuan picked up their ropes and began jumping rhythmically. Li Lingyuan accidentally tripped, and Xiao Yi quickly supported her, saying softly, "Don't worry, take your time." With Xiao Yi's encouragement, they gradually found a tacit understanding, and their rope skipping speed increased.

During the "Back-to-Back Balloon Transport" segment, Xiao Yi and Li Lingyuan stood back to back, carefully carrying the balloon. Li Lingyuan nervously said, "Xiao Yi, go slower! Don't burst the balloon." Xiao Yi calmly replied, "Don't be afraid! I'm in control." Finally, they successfully transported the balloon to the finish line.

The competition moved on to the final event—"Couple Love Song." Li Lingyuan and Xiao Yi took the stage, gazed at each other lovingly, and sang their most familiar love song. Li Lingyuan's voice was clear and melodious, while Xiao Yi's voice was magnetic. Their voices blended together, moving everyone in the audience.

At the end of the competition, Xiao Yi and Li Lingyuan won the championship with their outstanding performance. Li Lingyuan jumped up excitedly and hugged Xiao Yi, "We did it!" Xiao Yi hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear, "It's all because you are by my side."

Grabbing the prize, they left the competition venue. On the way, Li Lingyuan suddenly stopped, turned around to face Xiao Yi, winked playfully, and said, "Xiao Yi, I was so impressive today, are you going to reward me?" Xiao Yi smiled and asked, "What reward do you want?" Li Lingyuan tilted her head and thought for a moment before saying, "I want you to carry me for a distance." Without a word, Xiao Yi squatted down and said, "Come on up, my little princess."

Li Lingyuan happily lay on Xiao Yi's back, her arms around his neck. Xiao Yi walked steadily with her on his back, teasing her from time to time: "Oh, have you gained weight again?" Li Lingyuan pretended to be angry and patted his shoulder, "Huh, you are the one who gained weight!"

Passing by an ice cream shop, Xiao Yi put Li Lingyuan down and said, "Wait for me." A moment later, he came out with two ice creams and handed one to Li Lingyuan. Li Lingyuan took the ice cream and a bright smile appeared on his face.

In the evening, they came to the park and sat by the lake. The afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the lake, making the waves sparkle. Li Lingyuan leaned on Xiao Yi's shoulder and said softly, "Xiao Yi, today is really beautiful." Xiao Yi held her hand and said, "As long as I am with you, every day will be so beautiful."

Li Lingyuan suddenly sat up straight, looked at Xiao Yi seriously and said, "Xiao Yi, you know what? I feel like the happiest person in the world." Xiao Yi smiled and said, "Me too. Because of you, my life has so much color."

As night fell, Xiao Yi and Li Lingyuan walked hand in hand on the way home. The moonlight lengthened their figures and their laughter echoed in the quiet streets.
