Rise of the Otherworld.

The birds' claws were incredibly sharp as they attacked them. Zhang Hao brandished his sword, trying to drive away these ferocious creatures. His movements were swift and powerful, and every swing of his sword was accompanied by a whirring sound.

"Everyone, disperse! Don't gather together!" he shouted. His voice echoed in the valley, urgent and firm.

The woman quickly cast her magic, sending beams of light towards the birds, but they were incredibly agile and easily dodged her attacks. Beads of sweat covered her forehead, and the exhaustion of her magic made her breathing quicken.

The old man held the little girl tightly, dodging the attack of the flying birds. "What should I do?" His voice was filled with anxiety. His steps were slightly unsteady, but he still tried his best to protect the little girl.

The herbalist fell to the ground in panic, and a bird took the opportunity to swoop towards him.

"Be careful!" Zhang Hao rushed forward and blocked Fei Niao's attack with his sword. His arms trembled slightly from the force, but there was no fear in his eyes.

In the narrow valley, they engaged in a fierce battle with the flying birds. Zhang Hao's body was covered in scratches, blood staining his clothes. Each wound was searingly painful, but he remained unflinching, fighting bravely. His clothes fluttered in the wind like an unyielding banner.

The woman's magic power was over-consumed, her face turning pale, and her once bright eyes dimmed, but she persisted. She gritted her teeth and released another ray of magic light, hitting a flying bird.

Just when they were gradually exhausted, the little girl suddenly shouted, "Look, there's a cave over there!" Her voice was clear and loud, bringing a glimmer of hope to everyone.

Everyone looked in the direction the little girl pointed, and they saw a cave. The cave was hidden in the darkness, like a mysterious shelter.

"Hurry, hide in the cave!" Zhang Hao shouted, his voice filled with urgency as he rushed towards the cave first.

They struggled to move towards the cave while resisting the attacks of the birds. Every step forward was filled with hardship, and the attacks of the birds became more and more fierce.

Finally, with everyone's concerted efforts, they successfully entered the cave. The bird circled outside the cave for a while and then flew away.

They collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath, their bodies exhausted and their minds tormented.

"I finally escaped," the herbalist said weakly. His voice was filled with relief at having survived, and his body leaned limply against the cave wall.

Zhang Hao checked everyone's injuries and said, "Take a rest first and recover your strength." Although his voice was tired, it was still full of concern.

The cave was dark and damp, filled with a foul smell. Water droplets kept dripping from the walls, making a dripping sound.

"I wonder if there are any other dangers in this cave," the woman said worriedly. Her eyes were filled with anxiety as she glanced around the dark corners.

"It's always better to be careful," the old man said. He gently patted the little girl's shoulder, trying to reassure her.

They rested for a while, then stood up and continued to explore the cave. The road in the cave was bumpy and uneven, and from time to time water dripped from the top of their heads, forming small puddles on the ground.

Suddenly, a deep roar came from the front. The sound seemed to come from hell, shaking the cave slightly.

"Oh no, there's trouble again." Zhang Hao gripped his sword tightly and walked forward cautiously. His heartbeat quickened, and he took every step carefully.

A gigantic monster appeared before them, its body as large as a hill. Its eyes flashed with ferocity, and its sharp teeth gleamed coldly in the darkness.

"What...what kind of monster is this?" The herbalist stepped back in fear. His face turned pale, his legs gave out, and he almost collapsed to the ground.

Zhang Hao took a deep breath and said, "No matter what it is, we have to face it." His eyes were firm, as if burning with flames.

The monster opened its bloody mouth and pounced on them. A strong gust of air followed, blowing everyone's hair and clothes into chaos.

Zhang Hao dodged the monster's attack by moving sideways. He swung his sword at the monster, but the sword only left a shallow mark on the monster's body.

The woman cast magic again, and the light hit the monster, but the monster only trembled slightly and was not seriously hurt.

The old man pulled the little girl back, "Be careful, don't get affected."

The monster launched an even more violent attack, and the cave was suddenly in chaos...
