Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 726: Survival from Desperate Situation (3)

Everyone struggled to move through the shaking space, searching for somewhere to hide. Stones kept falling from above, and deep cracks began to appear on the ground, like a ferocious, enormous mouth ready to devour them.

Zhang Hao protected the little girl, dodging falling rocks while anxiously searching for a way out. "Everyone be careful!" he shouted. His gaze was firm and alert, and he took every step carefully, fearing that a single mistake would harm the little girl.

The woman followed closely behind, her expression tense. "I'm afraid this place is going to collapse!" Her voice trembled, her beautiful face filled with fear and worry. Her skirt was torn by falling rocks, but she was completely unaware.

The old man, relying on his rich experience, led the way. "This way, there might be a chance!" His steps were a little unsteady, but the determination in his eyes made people believe him.

The herbalist, carrying his few remaining herbs, panted heavily. "I don't want to be buried here!" His sweat fell like rain, soaking his clothes, but he still tried his best to keep up with the others.

The black-robed man remained calm, observing the situation around him. His eyes were deep and sharp, as if he could see through everything in this chaos.

At this moment, a huge rock came crashing down towards them. The rock was like a small mountain, carrying with it a breath of destruction.

"Get out of the way!" Zhang Hao pushed the little girl away, but was hit by a stone and fell to the ground. His arm was scratched, and blood stained his sleeve.

"Zhang Hao!" the woman exclaimed, and hurried to support him. Her eyes were full of concern and heartache, and her hands tightly grasped Zhang Hao's arm.

"I'm fine, let's go!" Zhang Hao gritted his teeth and stood up, enduring the pain and continued to move forward.

They finally found a relatively safe corner, temporarily sheltered from the falling rocks. Although the corner was not big, it at least allowed them to catch their breath.

"This isn't going to work. We have to find a way out," the old man said. His brow furrowed, his eyes revealing deep worry.

"But where is the exit?" The herbalist looked desperate. He looked at the collapsing scene around him, his heart filled with fear.

Just when everyone was in trouble, the little girl suddenly said, "I feel a force guiding us." Her voice was childish but full of determination.

"What power?" Zhang Hao asked doubtfully. He looked at the little girl with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

The little girl closed her eyes and felt with her heart. "Follow me." She stretched out her little hand, as if she could touch the mysterious power.

The crowd followed the little girl half-believingly, each step filled with danger as they weaved through the rocks.

Led by the little girl, they came to a seemingly ordinary wall. This wall blended into the surrounding environment and had nothing special about it.

"It's right here," the little girl said, her voice full of confidence.

Zhang Hao stepped forward and pushed the wall, but it didn't budge. "How can this be an exit?" A look of disappointment crossed his face.

The woman said, "Maybe there is a mechanism." She began to search around the wall carefully.

Everyone also took action, leaving no corner untouched.

Just then, the black-robed man discovered a protruding stone. "Try this," he said in a deep and powerful voice.

Zhang Hao pressed down hard on the stone, and the wall slowly opened, revealing a ray of light. That light, like the first light of dawn, brought them infinite hope.

"It's the exit!" the herbalist shouted excitedly, his voice a little hoarse with excitement.

Everyone filed out, finally escaping from the space that was about to collapse.

However, the scene outside surprised them. They found themselves in an unfamiliar valley, surrounded by thick fog, making it impossible to see the road ahead. The eerie sound of the wind echoed in the valley, making people feel creepy.

"Where is this?" the woman asked.

The old man shook his head and said, "I have never seen this place before."

Zhang Hao looked around vigilantly, "No matter what, let's move forward and see if we can find a way out."

Everyone moved forward cautiously in the valley, each step filled with unknown dangers...
