Rise of the Otherworld.

The moment Zhang Hao stepped into the cave, a damp, decaying odor hit him. The cave was dimly lit, relying only on the faint glow of magic to illuminate the path ahead. That weak light flickered in the darkness, as if it would be swallowed by the darkness at any moment.

"Everyone, be careful. There might be more dangers in here," Zhang Hao said in a low voice, moving slowly forward. His eyes scanned the surroundings warily, his sword tightly gripped, ready to respond to any emergency.

The black-robed figure followed closely behind, the magic light in his hand illuminating the surrounding stone walls. Strange runes were carved into the stone walls, twisting and snaking, as if they were wriggling, a chilling feeling. "These runes are probably some kind of evil restriction," the black-robed figure said solemnly. His voice echoed in the cave, tinged with tension and unease.

The old man held a staff in his hand and looked around vigilantly, "Everyone, stay alert and don't touch these runes." A faint light flickered on his staff, giving everyone a sense of security.

The herbalist followed cautiously, his forehead covered with sweat. His breathing was rapid, and his eyes were full of fear, but he still followed the others resolutely.

As they continued to go deeper into the cave, the ground beneath their feet became muddy and slippery, and the air was filled with a pungent smell, a nauseating mixture of rotting corpses and poisonous herbs.

Suddenly, a rustling sound came from the front. The sound was particularly clear in the silent cave and made people shudder.

"What is that?" the herbalist asked nervously, his voice trembling, and he took an involuntary step back.

I saw a group of huge bats flying out from the darkness, their wings spread out as wide as a person, and their eyes flashing with a strange red light.

Zhang Hao swung his sword at the bat, the blade drawing a bright arc in the darkness. The bat dodged nimbly, emitting a sharp cry.

The black-robed man quickly cast a spell, and beams of light shot towards the bats. When the light hit the bats, several of them fell and struggled on the ground.

The old man shouted, "Don't fight, pass through quickly!" His voice was decisive and firm.

They quickened their pace, fending off the bats' attacks as they ran forward. The bats were chasing them relentlessly, their wings flapping and the wind whistling in the cave.

Finally, they escaped the bats' attack, but everyone was breathless and exhausted.

However, a deep ravine appeared on the road ahead, filled with black mist, and the bottom was unclear. The mist seemed to have life, slowly swirling.

"What should I do?" The herbalist looked puzzled. He stared at the ravine, his heart filled with despair.

Zhang Hao thought for a moment and said, "I'll go over and take a look first. You guys wait here." His eyes were firm, without any hesitation.

As he spoke, he used his Qinggong skills and leaped across the ravine as light as a swallow. In mid-air, his figure was like an eagle spreading its wings and soaring.

Just as he was about to reach the other side, a powerful force sucked him down.

"Zhang Hao!" everyone exclaimed.

The man in black robe wanted to cast magic to rescue, but it was too late.

Zhang Hao's shouts were heard from the ravine, but soon disappeared into the darkness.

Everyone looked at each other, their hearts filled with worry.

"We can't just wait like this, we must find a way to save him," said the old man.

"But this power is too strong. What should we do?" asked the herbalist anxiously.

The black-robed man pondered for a moment, "Perhaps we can find the source of this power and break it."

They decided to search for clues along the edge of the ravine, walking cautiously and not daring to be careless.

At this moment, a low roar was heard from the cave again, as if some huge monster was approaching...
