Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 569: Fierce Confrontation (2)

The appearance of the evil wizard instantly froze the atmosphere in the basement. The dark aura emanating from him seemed to devour all light. Like thick ink, it permeated the air, leaving people feeling an indescribable sense of oppression.

Zhang Hao glared at him and shouted, "You evil man, you did such a heinous thing for your own selfish desires. Today is your end!" His voice echoed in the basement, full of anger and the power of justice.

The wizard let out a sinister chuckle. "You think you can stop me? You're just dreaming!" His laughter was like the cry of a night owl, chilling everyone's blood. With that, he waved his hands, and a powerful dark energy surged towards them. The energy surged like a black wave, carrying the power to destroy everything.

Undaunted, Zhang Hao charged forward with his sword, its blade radiating a brilliant light through the dark energy. His figure darted through the darkness like a flash of lightning. Each swing of his sword was punctuated by fearless courage and unwavering determination.

The black-robed figure also quickly cast a spell, fighting alongside Zhang Hao. He waved his hands, muttering something, and rays of light shot out from his hands, colliding with the dark energy. The light and darkness intertwined, forming a brilliant yet terrifying scene.

The old man continued to cast spells for them from behind, increasing their strength and defense. His staff shone with a mysterious light, and the incantations he uttered were like ancient songs, full of power.

The herbalist stood by, anxiously searching for the wizard's flaws. His eyes were fixed on his every move, silently praying for victory.

Seeing this, the wizard intensified his attacks. He muttered something, and dark energy transformed into countless sharp arrows, shooting down upon the crowd. Those arrows flashed with a cold light, carrying a deadly threat.

Zhang Hao's movements were as swift as lightning, dodging left and right, his sword repeatedly striking down sharp arrows. His movements were swift and precise, each swing of the sword perfectly timed. The clash of sword and arrow echoed in the basement like the drums of a fierce war.

The black-robed man's magic shone brightly in the darkness, colliding with the dark energy, creating a roaring sound. His forehead was covered in sweat, but his eyes remained firm.

"Hmph, let's see how long you can hold out!" The wizard roared, increasing the intensity of his attack. His eyes flashed with madness, as if he wanted to completely destroy everyone.

Zhang Hao gritted his teeth and persevered, thinking to himself, "I can't let him succeed!" His eyes grew more determined, and a strong fighting spirit emanated from him. That fighting spirit was like a burning flame, dispelling the fear brought by the darkness.

The black-robed man also tried his best, casting spells continuously, trying to suppress the wizard's attack. His breathing became rapid, but his hands did not slow down at all.

At this moment, the herbalist suddenly shouted, "I found his weakness! It's on his left waist!" His voice was full of excitement and eagerness.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Hao and the black-robed man immediately changed their tactics, concentrating their attack on the wizard's left side. Their coordination was seamless, as if they were telepathically connected.

The wizard sensed something was wrong and wanted to defend himself, but it was too late.

Zhang Hao seized the opportunity and thrust his sword into the wizard's left side. In that instant, time seemed to stand still, with only the sword's light gleaming in the darkness.

The wizard screamed, and the dark energy dissipated instantly. His body swayed a few times and fell to the ground.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but before they could celebrate, the castle suddenly began to shake violently. Stones fell from the walls, and huge cracks appeared in the ground.

"Oh no, the castle is going to collapse!" the old man exclaimed.

"Hurry, run to the exit!" Zhang Hao shouted.

Everyone ran towards the exit, the castle crumbling behind them. Stones and dust kept falling, blocking their way.

Zhang Hao led the way, splitting the rocks in the way with his sword. The man in black robes supported the old man, and the herbalist followed closely behind.

"Everyone be careful!" Zhang Hao warned loudly.

They struggled forward in the shaking castle and finally saw a ray of light, which was the direction of the exit.

Just as they were about to reach the exit, a huge rock fell from the sky, blocking their way.

"What should we do?" asked the herbalist anxiously.

Zhang Hao took a deep breath and said, "Everyone, push it open together!"

Everyone worked together and finally pushed the stone away and escaped from the castle.

As they stood outside the castle, watching it gradually crumble, their hearts were filled with emotion...
