Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 557 Light of Hope (4)

After a fierce battle with the black shadow, everyone was exhausted, but they did not dare to slack off and continued to grope forward in the cave.

Zhang Hao was panting, his steps unsteady, but his eyes remained determined. "Everyone, keep trying. Maybe the exit is just ahead," he encouraged. His voice was a little hoarse, but full of strength, rekindling hope in the others.

The black-robed man's wound began to bleed again due to the intense exercise. He gritted his teeth and followed silently. His face was as pale as paper, and every step he took seemed to exhaust all his strength, but there was no trace of retreat in his eyes.

The herbalist was panting with exhaustion, but his eyes held a fierce determination. His clothes were already tattered, and his body was covered in scrapes and scratches, but he still followed the group closely, not falling behind.

The old man's spiritual energy was nearly exhausted, and every step he took seemed laborious. His staff seemed to weigh a thousand pounds, dragging on the ground, leaving shallow marks. But his gaze remained fixed forward, his heart filled with a longing for an exit.

Just when they were about to despair, a faint light appeared in front of them. That light seemed so precious in the darkness, like a pearl in the darkness.

"Look! Isn't that the exit?" the herbalist shouted excitedly. His voice became shrill with excitement, breaking the long silence.

Everyone's spirits lifted, and they quickened their pace towards the light. Their steps became lighter, their hearts filled with anticipation.

As they got closer, they saw an exit. Sunlight streamed in from outside, bringing them endless hope. The sunlight was warm and gentle, showering them like a mother's embrace, making them feel incredibly comfortable and at ease.

Zhang Hao was the first to walk out of the exit. Outside was a dense forest, and fresh air hit him in the face. The air was filled with the fragrance of soil and the aroma of flowers and plants, which made him take a deep breath.

"We're finally out!" the black-robed man said excitedly. His voice echoed through the forest, filled with endless joy and emotion.

However, before they could celebrate, a low roar was heard from the forest. The sound was like thunder, rolling through the forest, making people tremble with fear.

"Oh no, something's happening again!" Zhang Hao immediately became alert. His body tensed up instantly, and he gripped the sword tightly again.

A huge white tiger suddenly emerged from the woods. Its body was as big as a hill, and its white fur gleamed brightly in the sunlight. Its fierce eyes and sharp fangs gave people a chilling feeling.

Everyone's hearts, which had just relaxed, began to lift again. They unconsciously took a few steps back, expressions of fear on their faces.

"Don't be afraid, everyone. We'll deal with it together!" Zhang Hao shouted. His voice was firm and decisive, giving the others a little courage.

The white tiger pounced at them, and Zhang Hao swung his sword to meet it. The sword and the tiger's claws collided with a crisp sound. Zhang Hao was knocked back a few steps by the tiger's power, but he quickly steadied himself and charged forward again.

The black-robed man was not to be outdone, brandishing his weapon and engaging in a fight with the white tiger. The herbalist and the old man stood by, looking for an opportunity to help them.

During their fight with the white tiger, they discovered it wasn't trying to hurt them, but rather asking for help. The tiger had multiple wounds on its body, blood staining its pristine white fur. Its eyes were filled with pain and pleading.

"It seems to be asking us to help it," the herbalist said, his voice full of sympathy and pity.

Zhang Hao hesitated for a moment, then finally decided to help the white tiger. "Everyone, stop first and see if you can help it."

Together they treated the white tiger's wounds. The herbalist took out various herbs from his backpack and expertly mixed them, while the old man cast some healing spells to ease the white tiger's pain.

The white tiger's mood gradually stabilized, and it lay on the ground obediently, allowing them to treat it.

"Perhaps this is our opportunity," the old man said. His eyes were deep, as if he saw something that others could not see.

After recovering, Baihu took them to a mysterious place where there was an ancient ruin that exuded a mysterious atmosphere.

"What is this place?" asked the man in black robe curiously.

Zhang Hao looked at the ruins, and an inexplicable feeling welled up in his heart. "Perhaps here lies the answer we have been searching for."

They walked cautiously into the ruins, which were filled with an ancient atmosphere. The walls were covered with strange symbols and patterns that were puzzling.

As they were exploring around, they suddenly heard a deep laugh...
