Chapter 418 The Guiding Bird

Led by the divine bird, the crowd followed slowly forward. The bird gracefully flapped its enormous wings, each flap bringing a gentle breeze. That breeze brushed against the crowd's faces, bringing a touch of coolness and temporarily soothing their tense nerves.

Zhang Hao looked at the back of the divine bird, his heart full of doubts: "Where is this divine bird taking us?" His brows were furrowed, and his eyes revealed deep thought.

Mo Ying panted and said, "Never mind him, as long as we can get rid of the danger just now." His face was still covered with fatigue and dust from the battle, and sweat kept sliding down his cheeks.

Feng Wuhen's face was pensive, as if he was pondering something. His eyes flickered from time to time, as if he was calculating various possibilities in his mind.

Although the woman and the other disciples were exhausted, they still managed to keep up with the group. Their steps were heavy, their breathing was rapid, but their eyes were still full of anticipation for the unknown.

They passed through a dense forest. The trees were tall and ancient, their branches intertwined to form a green canopy. Sunlight filtered through the gaps between the leaves, creating dappled shadows. The grass beneath their feet was soft, with thorns and vines occasionally blocking their path.

They crossed the turbulent stream, which rushed down with a loud noise and splashing water. The water was icy cold, soaking everyone's shoes and trousers, but they did not stop.

"I really can't walk anymore." A disciple sat down on the ground, gasping for breath. His face was pale and his eyes were filled with despair.

Zhang Hao turned around and said, "Hold on a little longer, maybe the divine bird is helping us." His voice was gentle and firm, giving the disciple a little courage.

At this moment, the divine bird landed in front of a mountain peak and called out to the crowd a few times. The sound was clear and melodious, as if urging them on.

When they reached the peak, they discovered a hidden cave on the mountain wall. The entrance to the cave was covered by weeds and vines, and if it weren't for the divine bird leading the way, they would never have found it.

"Is this the place the divine bird wants to take us to?" Feng Wuhen asked, his voice tinged with doubt and anticipation.

Zhang Hao cautiously entered the cave, and the others followed. A mysterious atmosphere permeated the cave, and strange lights flickered on the walls. Those lights, some blue, some green, resembled stars in the night sky.

"What is this place? It feels very unusual," the woman whispered. Her voice echoed in the cave, tinged with fear.

The group continued to go deeper into the cave, where the paths were intricate and complex. Some places were so narrow that only one person could pass through, while others were as spacious as a hall. The ground was uneven, with rocks and puddles everywhere.

Suddenly, a stone gate appeared in front of them. The stone gate was tall and heavy, and was engraved with strange patterns and symbols.

Zhang Hao stepped forward and pushed, but the stone door didn't budge. His arms trembled slightly from the force.

"What should I do?" Mo Ying asked anxiously. He walked around the stone door, trying to find the mechanism to open it.

Just when everyone was at a loss, a divine bird flew over and spit out a beam of light from its mouth, shooting towards the stone door. The light was so bright and dazzling that it instantly illuminated the entire cave.

The stone door slowly opened, revealing a huge stone chamber. The walls of the stone chamber were as smooth as a mirror, reflecting the light.

In the center of the stone chamber stood an ancient treasure chest, which emitted a mysterious light that made it impossible to look directly at it.

"Could this be our chance?" a disciple asked excitedly, his voice trembling with excitement.

Zhang Hao walked forward cautiously and slowly opened the treasure chest. His heart was beating fast, not knowing what was inside.

However, the moment the treasure chest was opened, a powerful force gushed out. That force was like a strong wind, blowing everyone to and fro.

"Be careful!" Zhang Hao shouted loudly.

This power is filled with evil and darkness, making people feel suffocated.

"What the hell is this?" Mo Ying said in horror.

Everyone seems so small and helpless in the face of this power.

But at this moment, the divine bird once again emitted a ray of light, fighting against the evil force...
