Rise of the Otherworld.

Chapter 409: Dangers Surround You (4)

Everyone's nerves tensed at the sound of footsteps. Zhang Hao protected the woman behind him, his gaze fixed on the direction of the sound. Mo Ying and Feng Wuhen looked around warily, their grips on their weapons tightening, their muscles trembling slightly with tension.

"Everyone, be careful!" Zhang Hao whispered. His voice was extremely low, yet full of authority and warning.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer, and soon a group of people dressed in strange clothes appeared in front of them. These people's clothes were colorful and embroidered with mysterious runes, giving people a strange and dangerous feeling.

"Catch them all!" the leader ordered. His voice was cold and ruthless, as if Zhang Hao and the others were just insignificant ants in his eyes.

Zhang Hao and his men immediately rose up in resistance, their figures crisscrossing the valley, swords and blades flashing. But their strength was beyond imagination, their moves strange and powerful. Each attack was accompanied by a powerful internal force, putting Zhang Hao and his men under immense pressure.

Feng Wuhen was careless and was hit by the opponent. His body fell heavily to the ground like a kite with a broken string.

"Feng Wuhen!" Zhang Hao was extremely anxious. His eyes were filled with concern and anger, and he swung his sword even more fiercely, trying to break through the enemy's defenses and rescue Feng Wuhen.

Mo Ying desperately resisted the enemy's attack, veins popping out on his forehead and sweat pouring down like rain. He tried to buy time for Feng Wuhen to stand up, using all his strength in every move, but still couldn't stop the enemy's powerful offensive.

The woman also forced herself to join the battle. Her eyes were determined, and despite her injuries, the dagger in her hand was still sharp as she continued to stab the enemy.

However, the enemy's offensive became increasingly fierce, wave after wave like a tide. Zhang Hao and his companions gradually found it difficult to resist, their physical strength was rapidly depleted, and their wounds were increasing.

Just when they were about to collapse, Zhang Hao suddenly discovered a flaw in the enemy's formation. It was on the right side of the enemy's formation, where the defense was relatively weak.

"Break out that way!" he shouted. His voice was like a resounding bell, clearly audible in the chaotic battlefield.

Everyone worked together, charging in that direction. Zhang Hao led the way, his sword wielding like a dragon emerging from the sea, clearing a path for the others. Mo Ying supported Feng Wuhen, following closely behind Zhang Hao. The woman stayed behind to prevent the enemy from pursuing them.

After a fierce fight, they finally got rid of the enemy. Everyone was gasping for breath, blood gushing from the wounds on their bodies, but their eyes were still full of determination.

"We can't stay here any longer. Let's get going!" Zhang Hao said. His voice was tired, but still decisive.

They carried the injured Feng Wuhen and trudged forward through the valley. The road beneath their feet was rugged and covered with thorns and stones. Every step required tremendous effort.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, they arrived at a cave. A thin layer of mist filled the entrance, making it difficult to see what was inside.

"Let's hide in this cave for now," Mo Ying said. There was a hint of hesitation in his voice; after all, this cave was full of unknowns.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they entered the cave. The cave was dark and damp, filled with a stale smell. Water droplets dripped down the walls, making a ticking sound.

But what they didn't know was that this cave also hid unknown dangers. When they went deeper into the cave, they suddenly heard a low roar.

"Oh no, there is something in this cave!" said a disciple in horror.

Zhang Hao frowned, "Everyone be careful!"

Before he could finish his words, a gigantic monster rushed out from the darkness. It was huge, its eyes flashed red, and it spewed out a scorching breath from its mouth.

Everyone was terrified and retreated.

"Don't be afraid, let's go together!" Zhang Hao shouted.

They were once again caught in a life-and-death battle...
