Rise of the Otherworld.

Lin Yu was originally just an ordinary college student, leading an ordinary yet busy life. It was an ordinary late night. Lin Yu finished a day of classes and dragged his exhausted body back to the dormitory. The campus was silent and hushed, only the sound of his lonely footsteps echoed. Suddenly, a strange light streaked across the sky, dazzling and instantly illuminating the entire night sky. Lin Yu subconsciously looked up, and the light fell towards him like a meteor. Before he could react, he was enveloped by the light and lost consciousness.

When Lin Yu woke up again, he found himself in a strange world. He suddenly opened his eyes, his face full of shock and confusion. Looking around, he saw green mountains and green waters, towering ancient trees, and the air was filled with the fresh fragrance of plants. He tried to stand up, but found that his clothes had become strange, like ancient costumes. He frowned slightly, his heart full of doubts and fear.

At this moment, a mysterious voice sounded in his mind: "Host: Lin Yu, welcome to the Ancient Xuan Continent."

Lin Yu was startled by the sudden sound. He looked around in fear, but could not see anyone. "Who? Who is talking?" His voice trembled.

"I am your time-travel assistance system, and I will help you survive and rise in this world." The voice sounded again, its tone calm and firm.

Lin Yu was bewildered, and after a long while, he gradually calmed down. He realized that since he had come to this strange place, escaping and panicking were useless. Only by facing it bravely could he find the way back or survive in this world.

He took a deep breath and began to explore his surroundings. There was soft grass beneath his feet, and occasionally, unknown wildflowers swayed in the breeze. He walked along a winding path for a long time before finally seeing a village.

Outside the village, there was a simple fence, with a few thatched houses scattered around. When Lin Yu walked into the village, the villagers looked at him curiously because of his attire. The children hid behind the adults and looked at him secretly; the women stopped their work and whispered to each other; the men looked at this uninvited guest with a wary look.

Lin Yu felt the gazes of the villagers and felt a little nervous, but he still mustered up the courage to ask an old man about the situation. The old man had gray hair and his face was full of traces of time. He looked Lin Yu up and down and slowly said, "Young man, this is a remote place in the ancient Xuan Continent. The wind of cultivation is prevalent. Powerful cultivators can fly into the sky and hide in the ground, and call the wind and rain."

Lin Yu was secretly amazed. He had thought that this was just a plot in novels and movies, but he didn't expect that he would actually come to such a magical world. He couldn't help but think, if he could also practice, would there be a chance to find a way back?
