The President's Tender Trap

Chapter 97 Unexpected Crisis

On their wedding day, Su Wan and Lu Ming were in exceptionally joyful moods. After a period of conflict and reflection, they finally opened their hearts and reached a consensus, deciding to hold a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family. With them as witnesses, they hoped to begin a new chapter in their lives.

The wedding scene was a dreamlike scene. The pristine white wedding dress, the scent of flowers, the warm sunshine—everything seemed so perfect. Su Wan's nervousness and anxiety from trying on the dress had long since dissipated, replaced by a beautiful vision of the future. She looked at herself in the mirror, a beaming smile on her face.

"You're so beautiful, Awan." Lu Ming's voice was as warm as a spring breeze, his eyes filled with doting and love. He smiled as he walked over to Su Wan and gently held her hand, as if this moment of happiness would last forever.

"Thank you, Lu Ming." Su Wan was moved, feeling Lu Ming's support and understanding. She knew that this wedding was not only a testimony to their love, but also a symbol of mutual trust and tolerance.

As the wedding progressed, relatives and friends arrived one after another, and laughter and blessings intertwined, making the whole scene filled with a warm atmosphere. Su Wan's parents were also busy at the side, their faces full of happy smiles.

However, just when everything seemed perfect, an accident happened quietly. Just a few minutes before the wedding ceremony was to begin, a sudden sound broke the peace of the scene.

"Quick! Someone's fainted!" A relative in a white dress shouted frantically, her face filled with panic and anxiety. In an instant, the atmosphere at the wedding became tense.

"What happened?" Su Wan's heart tightened, and she turned to look at the crowd. She saw a distant relative, Uncle Li, slumped on the ground, his face pale. People gathered around him, looking nervous.

"Call an ambulance!" Lu Ming reacted immediately and rushed towards the crowd to check the situation. He prayed silently in his heart that Uncle Li was okay.

Su Wan followed closely behind, feeling anxious. She recalled her memories of Uncle Li, who had provided her with countless care and support during her growth. Now, seeing him suddenly faint, she felt a surge of anxiety.

"Uncle Li, are you okay?" Su Wan squatted down and called softly, trying to wake him up. But Uncle Li did not respond, his face was still pale, and he seemed to have fallen into a coma.

"Everyone, get out of the way! Get out of the way!" At this moment, several relatives and friends quickly squeezed out of the crowd and surrounded Uncle Li, attempting to perform simple first aid. Lu Ming anxiously dialed the emergency number, his heart filled with worry.

"Uncle Li, can you hear me? We will help you!" Su Wan's voice trembled, tears glistening in her eyes. She couldn't imagine how sad her wedding would be if she lost such an important relative.

As time went on, the atmosphere grew increasingly tense. People whispered among themselves, their faces filled with anxiety and unease. The wedding atmosphere was instantly shattered, and the joy and laughter that had once existed vanished, replaced by chaos and panic.

"The emergency personnel are on their way. Please remain calm." Lu Ming tried to sound calm, but his heart was surging like a raging sea, unable to calm down. He felt a strong sense of powerlessness, watching Uncle Li's condition worsen, unable to do anything.

At this moment, Uncle Li's family rushed over, their faces full of panic. When they saw Uncle Li's condition, they panicked and knelt beside him, trying to wake him up.

"Dad! What's wrong with you?" Uncle Li's daughter cried out, tears streaming down her face. Her voice was filled with despair and helplessness, which pierced the hearts of those present.

"Please don't panic, we'll handle it as soon as possible." Lu Ming comforted Uncle Li's family, trying to calm them down. At this moment, the anxiety and uneasiness in his heart were intertwined, making him almost unbearable.

Finally, as everyone waited, the sound of an ambulance approached. Paramedics rushed to the scene and began rescuing Uncle Li. Su Wan and Lu Ming held each other's hands tightly, their hearts filled with anticipation and anxiety.

"Please move aside, let us do it." Emergency personnel quickly took action, checking Uncle Li's condition and performing CPR. Relatives and friends at the scene watched intently, feeling a mixture of hope and fear, fearing they would hear bad news.

With the efforts of the paramedics, Uncle Li was finally put on a stretcher and prepared to be sent to the hospital. Su Wan's tension almost reached the extreme, and tears could not stop flowing down, unable to control herself.

"I'll go to the hospital with you!" Su Wan decided to follow and wanted to stay with Uncle Li at this critical moment.

"I'll go too!" Lu Ming said firmly. Although he was anxious, he knew that he had to stay with Su Wan and support her.

The two hurried to catch the ambulance, their hearts gripped with anxiety, making it almost impossible to breathe. Along the way, Su Wan prayed constantly, hoping Uncle Li would be safe. She recalled the happy times they had spent together, and her heart was filled with gratitude and reluctance to leave.

"We must believe that he will get better." Lu Ming comforted Su Wan. Although he was also full of worries, he knew that only by staying calm could they give each other more strength.

Finally, the ambulance pulled up to the hospital entrance, and the doctors and nurses quickly carried Uncle Li into the emergency room. Su Wan and Lu Ming waited anxiously outside, their hearts filled with anticipation and anxiety.

As time passed, Su Wan felt as if she were enveloped by an invisible pressure, unable to control herself. She kept thinking about Uncle Li's smile. He was a warm and friendly person, but now, at this important moment, he had encountered such a change.

"Do you think he will be okay?" Su Wan asked in a low voice, with a hint of trembling in her voice.

"I hope so." Lu Ming's eyes flickered with worry, and he prayed silently in his heart. The two looked at each other, and they both knew that the current situation was no longer under their control.

At that moment, the door to the emergency room finally opened, and the doctor walked out with a serious expression. "Excuse me, are you Uncle Li's family member?"

"Yes, we are his family!" Uncle Li's children hurried forward, their voices trembling slightly, their hearts filled with anticipation and anxiety.

"Uncle Li is out of danger for now, but we need to monitor his condition further," the doctor said in a serious tone. "He may have fainted due to low blood sugar. We recommend hospitalization for observation."

"Thank you, doctor!" Su Wan felt relieved. Although Uncle Li's condition still needed to be observed, at least he was out of danger.

"Can we go see him?" Lu Ming asked, concern in his eyes.

"Okay, but please don't disturb the treatment." The doctor nodded, his tone gentle.

Su Wan and Lu Ming followed closely behind him and walked into the ward. They saw Uncle Li lying on the bed, his face still pale, but he had regained some consciousness. He opened his eyes slightly and saw Su Wan and Lu Ming, a smile on his face.

"You're here." Uncle Li's voice was weak, but with a hint of warmth.

"Uncle Li, how do you feel?" Su Wan immediately walked to the bedside and asked with concern.

"I'm fine, just a little weak," Uncle Li said softly, a hint of apology in his eyes. "Today is supposed to be your big day, but I made everyone worried."
