"Have you heard? Su Wan and Lu Ming's relationship seems to have changed. What a shame." Her heart sank at the whispers of her colleagues. Su Wan's heart tightened, wondering if their misunderstanding had become known.

"Yeah, I heard that Lu Ming and his ex are together again. Su Wan must be very sad." Another colleague added, his words filled with affection and gossip.

Su Wan couldn't help but pause, a mixture of emotions welling up in her heart. She knew these were rumors, but she couldn't help but feel anxious. "But if we resist more, it will only make things worse." Su Wan felt frustrated and doubts arose in her heart.

"We can't let the rumors continue to ferment. We must take the initiative." Lu Ming clenched his fists, his eyes revealing a determined strength. "I will find an opportunity to communicate with the company's senior management and clarify our relationship. You must also actively respond and don't let these rumors affect your work."

He continued to spread rumors and even began deliberately sowing discord between Lu Ming and other colleagues, attempting to create more friction within the company and further weaken Lu Ming's position. "Look at Lu Ming now! He can't focus on his work at all. He can't get far relying on a woman alone." Zhang Yu deliberately steered the conversation at the company party, aiming to sow suspicion around Lu Ming.

"Yes, his recent performance is indeed not as good as before." Colleagues responded one after another, and the atmosphere was gradually filled with dissatisfaction with Lu Ming.

Lu Ming thought for a moment and nodded, "Good idea, but we still need to prepare some materials so that our efforts can be seen."

Over the next few days, Su Wan and Lu Ming worked together to prepare for the meeting, gathering enough evidence to prove their relationship wasn't as tenuous as the rumors suggested. They even invited several colleagues to serve as witnesses, sharing their perspectives on the relationship.

On the day of the meeting, the entire office was filled with anticipation and tension. Su Wan and Lu Ming stood at the front of the conference room, facing their colleagues, feeling nervous but also determined.

The meeting room fell silent, and then several colleagues began to applaud, supporting the two people's statement. Su Wan felt relieved, and the pressure in her heart gradually eased.

However, Zhang Yu wasn't about to remain silent. He stood up and sneered, "Your statement won't completely dispel everyone's doubts. After all, no one can definitively explain matters of the heart."

Su Wan and Lu Ming's hearts tightened, but they didn't back down. Su Wan responded clearly, "We will prove our resolve with concrete actions, and not let rumors control our work and lives."
