Luo Qian's eyes snapped open, the image of the Crystal Palace and the voice still lingering in her mind. She instinctively reached for the Heart of Poseidon on her chest, and the warmth her fingertips felt made her heart beat faster.

"It's time to go." Kyle's deep voice interrupted her thoughts. His stern features softened in the cave's blue light.

Rosie nodded and turned to Caesar beside her. The little guy's black hair was curled up in a ball from sleeping, making him look like a furry little lion. He yawned, revealing his pointed little fangs.

"Mom..." Caesar mumbled, his voice full of sleep.

Rosie ran her fingertips through her son's messy black hair and gently stroked his soft cheek: "Wake up, little lazy boy, we have to leave."

Caesar blinked his large amber eyes, sleepiness dissipated, alertness and excitement replaced. He jumped up, shook off the dust on his body, and moved as nimbly as a young leopard ready to hunt.

"Let's go." Kyle turned and walked towards the cave entrance, his black robe fluttering slightly behind him.

Rosie took Caesar's hand and followed Kyle's steps. The night of the alien world had passed, the three moons disappeared, and the violet sky was replaced by a strange orange-red morning light.

The three of them stepped onto the blue-purple grass, each step creating a fluorescent ripple. Caesar jumped up and down, trying to create a larger circle of light, which made Rosie laugh softly.

After about two hours of walking, a vague outline appeared on the horizon.

"That's..." Rosie squinted her eyes.

"Town," Kyle replied briefly, quickening his pace.

As the distance closed, the town's outline gradually became clear. Rosie held her breath—it was a strange town built of giant, glowing stones. Each stone shone a different color, from deep blue to light purple, from dark red to bright green. From a distance, it looked like a giant jewel puzzle.

The architecture is crude and primitive, lacking the elaborate designs of Earth or the interstellar world, yet exuding an ancient and mysterious aura. The buildings, staggered in height and shape, vary: some have spires reaching toward the sky, others are hemispherical domes, and still others twist and coil like giant tree roots.

"So beautiful!" Caesar exclaimed, his amber eyes wide.

Rosie was also shocked. She had seen many interstellar wonders, but this town made of shining stones still amazed her.

At the town entrance, several tall residents were talking. They looked like orcs, but they spoke a language that Rosie had never heard of.

"What language is this?" Luo Qian frowned and tried to search for relevant information from her memory.

Kyle frowned slightly. "It's an ancient interstellar common language, rarely used nowadays."

Rosie tried to greet a resident in modern interstellar language, but was only met with a confused look.

"They don't understand." Rosie sighed and turned to Kyle, "How can we communicate?"

Caesar suddenly let go of Rosie's hand, trotted forward a few steps, and said a few words to the resident. Surprisingly, he spoke the ancient language with accurate pronunciation and natural intonation.

The resident's eyes lit up, and he squatted down to talk to Caesar. The little boy nodded in response, his amber eyes sparkling with intelligence.

"He said he welcomes us to Lightstone City." Caesar turned to Rosie and Kyle and explained, "People here rarely see outsiders."

Rosie looked at Kyle in surprise: "How can he speak this language?"

A hint of approval flashed in Kyle's eyes. "The inheritance of the dragon clan. Each dragon clan inherits a different inheritance. It seems that Caesar inherited the talent for languages."

Caesar puffed out his chest and raised his chin proudly: "I can understand every word they say!"

Rosie couldn't help but ruffle her son's black hair, feeling surprised and proud.

"Ask them if they have a safe place to stay," Kyle instructed, glancing around warily.

Caesar nodded and turned to talk to the residents. A moment later, he ran back excitedly: "He said he could take us to see the city elders! The elders know a lot of things!"

Rosie exchanged a look with Kyle. This was a good opportunity to get some information.

"Tell them we accept the invitation," Kyle decided.

Caesar turned and fluently conveyed Kyle's meaning in that ancient language. The resident nodded and made a "follow me" gesture.

The three followed the residents through the town entrance. The glowing stones lining the street were even more spectacular up close, as if flowing energy pulsated within each stone.

On the road, residents stopped to watch the three outsiders, their eyes full of curiosity but no hostility.

"What are they talking about?" Rosie whispered to Caesar.

Caesar tilted his head, listening carefully. "They say we are special, especially you, Mom." He pointed to the Heart of Poseidon on Rosie's chest. "They say you have an 'ancient light'."

Rosie subconsciously touched the Heart of Poseidon. It was getting slightly warm, as if it had some sense of the town.

"Ask them if they know anything about the holy relic." Rosie whispered to Caesar.

Caesar nodded and was about to speak when a tall figure stood in front of them. It was a burly orc warrior, his body covered in dark red scales, his eyes gleaming with a challenge.

"He said he wanted to spar with Dad," Caesar translated, his voice trembling slightly. "He wanted to know how strong we were."

A cold light flashed in Kyle's eyes, and a dangerous arc appeared at the corner of his mouth: "Tell him, I accept the challenge."

Rosie pulled Kyle's sleeve: "Be careful."

Kyle nodded slightly, the coldness in his eyes easing slightly: "Don't worry, I will control the power."

Caesar translated Kyle's words to the warrior, who grinned, revealing his sharp fangs, and assumed a combat-ready stance.

The surrounding residents quickly dispersed, forming an impromptu battle arena. The air was filled with tension and excitement.

Rosie pulled Caesar aside, the air thick with a tense, volatile atmosphere. Her fingers unconsciously touched the Heart of Poseidon on her chest, feeling it warm slightly.

Kyle stood in the center of the makeshift battlefield, his black hair rustling in the alien wind, a dangerous glint in his amber eyes. He remained silent, only slightly moving his shoulders, revealing the lines of his body beneath his black robe, a figure brimming with explosive beauty.

The alien warrior twisted his neck, his dark red scales gleaming coldly in the sunlight, and veins bulged on his muscular arms. He grinned, his fangs bared, his eyes gleaming with fighting spirit.

"Don't worry, Mom." Caesar looked up, his little face full of confidence, his big amber eyes staring at the field without blinking, "Dad is the best."

Luo Xi squeezed her son's hand and said, "I know." She said this, but she couldn't help but feel worried. This was an alien world after all, and unknown dangers could appear at any time.

The warrior was the first to move. He kicked the ground hard, his entire body transforming into a streak of dark red lightning as he rushed towards Kyle. The ground beneath him exploded, and the blue-purple grass was lifted by the blast, and the fluorescent light splashed like a brilliant firework.

Kyle remained motionless, waiting for the warrior to reach him before he leaned slightly to the side. A seemingly simple dodge, it perfectly avoided the opponent's powerful punch.

When the warrior missed his attack, he immediately changed his tactics. Strange patterns appeared on his dark red scales, and a strange energy wave swept across the entire arena.

"Be careful!" Luo Qian couldn't help but warn.

Kyle's eyes flashed, their amber pupils becoming as sharp as a hawk's. A black aura instantly erupted from his body, forming an invisible barrier in front of him, easily blocking the opponent's energy attack.

The warrior's eyes flashed with surprise upon seeing this, but soon turned even more excited. He crossed his arms over his chest, and the brightness of his dark red scales increased to its peak, enveloping him in a blood-red glow.

"What is that soldier saying?" Rosie asked Caesar in a low voice.

Caesar held his breath and listened carefully. "He said he was serious. This is a forbidden power of his people."

As soon as he finished speaking, the warrior suddenly opened his arms, and a tremendous amount of energy erupted from his body. The surrounding air seemed to be kneaded and deformed by invisible hands, and twisted ripples spread out in all directions. Even more astonishing, the blue-purple grass beneath his feet, unique to the alien region, instantly turned dark red, as if soaked in dye. An eerie aura rose from the ground.

"Dark power?" Rosie exclaimed in surprise. This power was similar to the one Kyle possessed, yet fundamentally different. A more primitive, violent quality flowed through it.

Kyle finally cracked a smile, but it was a cold one. He raised his right hand, and the black energy gathered in his palm, forming a swirling ball of energy.

"Dad's going to use his ultimate move!" Caesar jumped up excitedly, his little hands tightly grasping the corner of Rosie's clothes, his amber eyes sparkling with excitement. Rosie could feel the warmth from her son's palms; the child definitely inherited his father's love of fighting.

The warrior roared, earth-shattering, sending ripples of energy ripple through the ground. A dark crimson energy condensed in each of his hands, and his scales gleamed with a metallic sheen. He crushed the ground with his feet and lunged at Kyle, his movements as swift as a predator's prey.

Kyle didn't dodge or evade. He gently thrust his right hand forward, and the black vortex in his palm instantly expanded tenfold, as if it had life, forming a small black hole. As soon as the warrior's attack touched the edge of the vortex, it was completely swallowed up, leaving no trace.

The soldier's pupils shrank sharply, and his body was pulled forward uncontrollably. He struggled desperately, his feet plowing two deep grooves in the ground, but he was still being pulled closer bit by bit.

As the warrior was about to be swallowed by the black vortex, despair appeared on his face. At this critical moment, Kyle suddenly clasped his hands together, and the supernatural power in his hands disappeared in an instant.

The next second, Kyle flashed in front of the warrior, formed his right hand into a knife, and gently tapped the other's forehead.

All the movements were done in one go, so fast that Rosie could hardly see them.

The warrior froze in place, his eyes wide open. The next moment, his strength receded like a tide, and his dark red scales returned to normal. His knees gave way, and he knelt on the ground.

Kyle turned and walked back to Rosie. Throughout the entire battle, he didn't even let a speck of dust get on his black robe.

The onlookers were silent at first, then erupted into deafening cheers, and cast their gazes in awe at Kyle.

"What are they talking about?" Rosie leaned over and asked Caesar in a low voice.

Caesar raised his little face, his big amber eyes sparkling: "They say Dad is very strong, the 'Messenger of Darkness'!" The pride in his voice could not be hidden.

The kneeling warrior stood up, his dark red scales losing their sharpness. He bowed deeply to Kyle, his rugged face filled with awe.

"He said they've never seen such pure dark power before." Caesar stood on tiptoe, gesturing with his hands. "He invited us to meet the Wise Man."

Rosie turned to look at Kyle. Kyle's amber eyes narrowed slightly, his black hair swaying slightly in the alien wind. Their eyes met, and they understood each other—the plan had changed, but the goal remained the same.

"Tell him we accept the invitation." Kyle said briefly, his voice as low as thunder.
