Lamia took out the diary out of boredom and found that the originally dull cover now had more brilliance, especially the bat pattern, which had changed its appearance - a dark green snake grew out of its wings.

Lamia tried to open it and wrote a few words on it, "Good evening," and then looked at the diary page without blinking.

【Good evening】

Soon, a line of beautiful words appeared in the diary, and Lamia became interested. "Are you alive?"

I'm afraid not.

The diary still gave the answer very quickly.

Lamia raised an eyebrow, honest but useless.

Lamia asked a few more questions, such as his age, appearance, tastes, etc. The diary responded one by one, very well-behaved. But just like that, Lamia became even more bored. She closed the diary and was about to return it to Ginny.

To Lamia, this diary is only capable of answering questions and is more suitable for little girls.

Lamia lay down on the bed, and only a few unknown calls could be heard outside the window.

She was now able to sneak into Draco and Harry's dormitory easily, not only to fill her stomach but also to avoid being discovered by them. Lamia was supposed to go hunting tonight, but for some reason, she suddenly felt very tired and just wanted to lie down, which seemed to have started since the diary was opened.

Lamia fell asleep while thinking about it.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself lying on Tom's bed. She was the only one in the room. Lamia took a look at the familiar environment and realized that Tom had brought her to his dormitory while she was sleeping.

Lamia stood up and stretched her sore body, then walked towards the door. Tom still didn't lock the door, so Lamia didn't dare to repeat his behavior. If he did it once, it could be considered a test or a reminder, but if he did it twice or three times, it would be like seeking death.

Tom's current mental state is beyond her control. If she is not careful, she might die in his hands.

Lamia thought for a moment, took out a piece of paper from the drawer, and wrote on it that she was going to walk around the campus and would be back soon.

Lamia put the note in the most conspicuous place in the room where it could be seen as soon as she entered the door, and then walked out.

Hogwarts was still lifeless, the only difference being that there were many more professors patrolling, all with serious expressions and never putting down their wands.

Lamia didn't hide either, but treated herself as an ordinary student. When she passed by the patrolling professors, they just glanced at her and left.

Lamia noticed that the professors were looking at the Slytherin crest on her robes and the Slytherin club brooch that Tom had pinned to her chest at some point.

After walking for a while, Lamia didn't meet anyone, except for a few Slytherin students. Their eyes were almost as big as their heads. Although they were walking together, it was obvious that no one looked down on anyone else.

It was very boring. Lamia returned to the room after a while. Tom had already come back and was holding the note she wrote and reading it carefully.

"Are you back? You still keep your promise." Tom adjusted the gold-rimmed glasses on his tall nose. He became even more indifferent. He originally pretended to be a gentle senior, but now he stopped pretending and exposed the dark side of his private life.

Lamia nodded, not intending to speak, and walked into the room with her head down.

But when Tom stretched out his long legs, there was no space left in the already narrow passage. "Where have you been?" Tom's narrow eyes stared straight at Lamia's profile through the lenses, like a cold poisonous snake, as if he would swallow her in the next second.

"Just taking a walk." Lamia knew that she should follow Tom's wishes at this time, at least to suffer less, but she just wanted to live a happy life, and was not afraid that Tom would read her thoughts, so she glared back.

"Okay, I'll take you to see the other places this afternoon. You haven't been to the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts yet." Tom stretched out his arms and held Lamia in his arms. Tom rested his chin on the top of Lamia's head, feeling the long-lost warmth and softness, and closed his eyes comfortably.

"Lamia, I've been very busy lately. I was wrong." Tom explained to himself without caring whether Lamia listened or not.

Lamia hummed lightly as a response.

Tom wasn't at all annoyed by the perfunctory treatment. The two of them just hugged each other until Lamia felt sore all over, and then she pulled away from his arms. "Tom, what have you been busy with lately?"

Lamia spoke tentatively, wanting to know if it had anything to do with her, or if it was a threat to her.

"It's about you, but it's okay, you'll be fine - as long as you stay with me, no one will hurt you, Lamia." Tom reached out and pulled Lamia over, kneading her in his hands.

Lamia nodded. There was no need for her to speak. Tom had completely let go of his feelings.

"Want to go and take a look?" Tom noticed that Lamia was in a bad mood and spoke.

"What are you looking at?" Lamia raised her head, and there seemed to be a scattered flame in her red eyes. Although it was very weak now, as long as it touched straw, even a flame would destroy the world.

Tom didn't say anything, but took Lamia to the women's bathroom. This was the first time he had taken someone there personally.

"Don't stay too far away from me. Stay behind me. Otherwise, I may not be able to protect you." Tom was a little worried. Even though he had fed the monster, he was still afraid that it would hurt Lamia.

"Okay." Lamia became interested when she saw the women's bathroom, which she hadn't seen clearly because she was knocked unconscious last time.

Tom came to the sink and spoke a few words into it in a language so obscure that Lamia wasn't even sure it was human language.

Then, the washbasin began to descend step by step, revealing a dark golden ancient stone pillar with a ferocious snake head carved on it, so realistic that it seemed as if it would rush out and bite someone in the next second.

Tom kept talking as the stone pillars began to change again. Right before Lamia's eyes, a deep, dark passage appeared, wide enough for two people.

"Do you dare to go down with me?" Tom asked suddenly. Lamia did not answer, but held his dry palm tightly.

Tom narrowed his eyes in amusement and jumped in first.

He held Lamia in his arms like a cub for a long time, until the two of them landed on the ground. There was a cloud of dust behind Tom, but Lamia was so clean that it didn't look like she had just come out of that pipe.

Tom raised his head, waiting for Lamia's praise. He could actually use magic. His dark magic was enough to send Lamia and him down safely without getting contaminated by dust, but Tom just wanted it this way.

Lamia didn't receive Tom's gaze, she was looking at the huge snake skin in front of her.
