Lamia and Harry had to accompany Bill and Mrs. Weasley on a walk around the castle before returning to the Great Hall for dinner after spending the afternoon there.

Ludo Bagman and Cornelius Fudge sat down at the staff table. Bagman looked cheerful, but Fudge looked less cheerful. Lamia suspected this was because he wasn't very well received.

The dinner was more sumptuous than usual, but no one could eat much. When the enchanted ceiling turned from blue to a dark purple twilight, Dumbledore stood up at the staff table and motioned for silence.

"Ladies and gentlemen, in five minutes I will be inviting you to the Quidditch pitch for the final event of the Triwizard Tournament. Please, Champions, follow Mr. Bagman to the playing field."

Lamia stood up and all the students from all the houses except Slytherin applauded her. The Weasleys and Hermione also wished her good luck.

Lamia looked up and walked out of the Great Hall with Harry, Cedric, Fleur and Viktor.

"Feeling all right, Harry?" Bagman asked as they descended the stone steps. "Feeling confident?"

"That's fine," said Harry.

Lamia shook her head, Harry said so, but he almost bit his lip.

They entered the Quidditch pitch, which was now completely unrecognisable, with a twenty-foot-high hedge surrounding the edge.

There was a gap in front of them, which was the entrance to the big maze. The passage inside was dark and a bit scary.

Five minutes later, people began to enter the stands. Hundreds of students filed into their seats, and the air was filled with excited voices and the sound of footsteps.

The sky was now a clear, deep blue, and the stars were beginning to appear as Hagrid, Professor Moody, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Flitwick entered the playing field, approaching Bagman and the Warriors.

They all had big, shiny red stars on their hats, but Hagrid's was on the back.

"Hehe! Lamia, Harry, I wish you all the best." Hagrid laughed heartily, and the atmosphere on the scene was very good.

"We will patrol outside the maze," Professor McGonagall said to the warriors, "If you get into trouble and want help, just shoot red sparks into the sky and someone will come to help you. Do you understand?"

The warriors nodded in unison.

"Well, go ahead!" Bagman said cheerfully.

As the five men walked off in different directions, spreading themselves around the maze, Bagman pointed his wand at his throat and muttered "loud," and his magically amplified voice echoed off the stands.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the final match of the Triwizard Tournament is about to begin! Let us wait and see who will be the champion of this tournament!"

Lamia turned around and immediately saw Mrs. Weasley waving and blowing kisses to her. She looked so touched that she kept wiping away her tears.

Bill, Ron, and Hermione politely applauded Lamia and Harry in the middle row of the stands. Harry waved at them, and they smiled and waved back.

"Now...listen to my whistle!"

With a short whistle, the warriors rushed into the dark maze.

Lamia rushed in first, but she deliberately lagged behind. She had to find Cedric first. This project was not important to her at all.

The tall hedges cast dark shadows on the path. Perhaps because the hedges were so tall and dense, or because of the magic, Lamia could no longer hear any of the audience's voices as soon as she entered the maze.

Lamia felt like she was underground, but that didn't matter, she had already seen Cedric and of course Harry.

Lamia turned into a bat and followed them carefully, but she was more inclined towards Cedric. Once they encountered danger, Lamia could ensure that Cedric could escape in the first place.

After walking about fifty meters, they came to a fork in the road and looked at each other.

"Goodbye," said Harry, and he took the left path, while Cedric took the right.

Lamia chose the path on the right without hesitation. The spells Harry had practiced were enough for him to survive, and the system did not say that Harry would be in danger of his life.

Lamia kept a distance and followed Cedric. The road he chose was not very good, and there were thorns everywhere. Cedric took out his wand and kept clearing away the plants that would block the way.

"Oh my god, I should have chosen the left path." Cedric finally couldn't help but complain. Lamia flew closer, but didn't see any major threats, just some annoying creatures at most.

Lamia's thoughts were a little confused. Ever since she entered the maze, she always felt that someone was watching her in secret. The maze was getting darker every minute, and the sky above her head turned dark blue.

The two came to the second fork in the road.

Cedric didn't choose randomly this time, but raised his wand. As he muttered the spell, the wand moved slowly, and the front end of the wand pointed at the dense hedge on his right.

There were still many obstacles on the road this time. Cedric was more focused this time. The creatures in front of him changed from plants to the magical animals raised by Hagrid, and each one was not easy to deal with.

Lamia wanted to fly higher, but Dumbledore seemed to have set up a restriction above her head, so she could only fly about two hundred meters above the ground.

At this moment, "Merlin!" Cedric shouted, turned around and ran towards Lamia.

Lamia dodged quickly, and she turned to look in the direction where Cedric was running, her pupils suddenly trembling.

How on earth did Hagrid raise such a huge blast-end skrewt!

The skrewt, clearly enraged, spotted Lamia, the only living creature, and mercilessly hurled fireballs at her.

Lamia dodged frantically, speeding up and landing in Cedric's hat. After making sure she was completely hidden, Lamia slowly poked her head out.

Cedric ran very fast and was away from the blast-tailed skrewt in a moment.

Unexpectedly, Cedric turned a corner and bumped into Harry.

"Hagrid's Blast-Ended Skrewt!" he hissed. "It's huge—I barely escaped!"

Cedric shook his head and rushed into another road, determined to throw the skrewt away as far as possible, and Harry followed him, of course he would not go down that dead end.

But as Lamia turned the corner, she saw a Dementor slowly walking towards them, twelve feet tall, its hood covering its face, its rotting, scabby hands stretched out straight.

It approached step by step, feeling its way towards them, and Lamia could clearly hear the gurgling wheezing in its throat.

A very sick feeling washed over Lamia.

By this time, Harry had closed his eyes, concentrated his attention, raised his wand and shouted, "Expecto Patronus!"

A silver stag leaped from Harry's wand and ran towards the Dementors.

The Dementor took two steps back, tripping over its robes. Lamia had never seen a Dementor fall like that before.

"Don't move!" He followed the silver Patronus. "You're a Boggart! Ridiculous!"

"Thank goodness you're here, Harry." Cedric bent his upper body and panted.

"You're welcome," said Harry.

They parted at the fork in the road ahead, Cedric taking the left and Harry the right.

But not long after, Cedric ran out from the left road. He had never seen so many goblins before. How could he defeat them all by himself? It would be better to change the road.

He turned back and turned right, and saw Harry stopped in his tracks, with a strange golden mist floating in front of him.
