After HP shared the dream, Lao Fu was conquered by me
Chapter 299 Project 3 (4)
"Hermione, I don't want to see it at all. Whatever it is, it has nothing to do with me." Lamia said indifferently.
A strange, dreamy expression suddenly appeared on Hermione's face, and she slowly raised one hand and stroked her hair.
"Are you okay?" Ron asked, frowning at her.
"It's all right," Hermione said breathlessly. She smoothed her hair again and then raised her hand to her mouth like a walkie-talkie. Harry and Ron looked at each other.
"Even if Harry and Lamia don't care, we have to teach this old guy a lesson!" Hermione said angrily.
Before she could finish her words, Hermione grabbed her schoolbag and ran out of the Great Hall.
"Hey!" Ron shouted from behind. "History of Magic starts in ten minutes! Good heavens," he said, turning to Harry and Lamia. "She must hate that old hag Skeeter so much that she doesn't even care about being late for the exam. What are you planning on doing in Binns's class – studying again?"
As champions of the Triwizard Tournament, Lamia and Harry were exempt from the final exams, but Hermione required them to sit in the back of the classroom for every exam and look for a useful spell for the third task.
"Maybe," Lamia said casually.
At this moment, Professor McGonagall came towards them along the Gryffindor table.
"Porter and Nocturne, the warriors will gather in the conference room next to the auditorium after breakfast," she said.
"But the game doesn't start until tonight!" Harry accidentally spilled scrambled eggs on himself. He thought he had remembered the wrong time.
"I know, Potter," said Professor McGonagall. "The warrior's relatives have been invited to watch the final. You can meet them."
She walked away.
Harry stared at her back in a daze. In fact, Harry was not the only one who was in a daze. Lamia was also in a daze. She didn't expect that there was such a link. Her family probably didn't exist in this world.
"She doesn't think the Dursleys are coming?" he asked Lamia blankly.
"I don't know, Harry, I want to ask too, who will my family be?" said Lamia.
"Oh no," said Ron, "I have to run. I'm going to be late for the exam. See you later."
A moment later, Lamia saw Fleur Delacour stand up from the Ravenclaw table and walk into the meeting room with Cedric.
After a while, Krum also went there lazily, but Lamia and Harry sat there without moving. They really didn't want to go because they had no relatives worth going to.
Lamia didn't think Dumbledore would bring her headmistress mother, but that was not something they could decide. After a while, Cedric came to call them in.
Lamia and Harry walked across the hall and pushed open the door into the meeting room.
Cedric and his parents stood by the door. In a corner of the room, Krum, who had inherited his father's hooked nose, was speaking rapid Bulgarian to his dark-haired parents. In another corner, Fleur was chattering away in French with her mother, whose little sister, Gabrielle, was holding her mother's hand.
Then, Lamia's eyes widened as she saw Mrs. Weasley standing by the fireplace, smiling at her and Harry.
"You didn't expect that!" Mrs. Weasley said enthusiastically, stepping forward with a smile on her face. "We wanted to come and watch you play, dear." Mrs. Weasley hugged Lamia and Harry into her arms and kissed them each on the cheek.
"How are you?" Bill smiled and shook hands with Harry and Lamia. "It's a shame I didn't see your first project. I heard it was amazing."
Lamia didn't know what to say. She hugged Mrs. Weasley back tightly, smelling the scent of butter on her body, and felt inexplicably at ease.
"Thank you for coming to watch the match between me and Lamia." Harry said, holding back tears.
"Hmm." Mrs. Weasley pursed her lips. She always avoided criticizing the Dursleys in front of Harry, but every time she thought of them, her eyes would blaze.
But Mrs. Weasley didn't dare mention Lamia's parents, for she was afraid that the poor girl would be too sad.
"Can you stay for a few days?" said Harry. He didn't want Mrs. Weasley and the others to leave at all.
Lamia also looked up at Mrs. Weasley.
"Oh, children, I don't know. Maybe until the end of your project. It all depends on what Dumbledore thinks," said Mrs. Weasley.
Mrs. Weasley smiled, her eyes sparkling, and said, "I'm really glad you welcome me so well."
"Ron won't let us disturb you for too long. He's afraid it will affect your project."
"No, ma'am," Lamia said hastily.
"Take us around," Bill said.
"All right," said Harry, and they walked towards the door that led into the Great Hall. As they passed Amos Diggory he turned.
"You?" he said, looking Harry up and down. "Cedric's grades have caught up. You're not so cocky anymore, are you?"
"What?" Harry asked.
"Ignore him," Cedric whispered to Harry, frowning behind his father's back. "He's been mad since he read that article Rita Skeeter wrote about the Triwizard Tournament – you know, the one who said you were going to be the only winner."
"You didn't correct him, did you?" Lamia said.
"I didn't mean that, Lamia, you know I don't care about this!" Cedric said to Lamia's back.
"Rita Skeeter is a trouble maker, Amos!" said Mrs. Weasley angrily. "You work for the Ministry, I thought you knew that!"
Mr. Diggory looked like he was about to lose his temper, but his wife put a hand on his arm, so he just shrugged and turned away.
Lamia and Harry had a delightful morning strolling with Bill and Mrs. Weasley through the sunny grounds, seeing the Beauxbatons carriages and the Durmstrang ship.
Mrs. Weasley was very interested in the Whomping Willow, which she had planted after she left school, and she kept talking about Hagrid's previous gamekeeper, who was called Ogg.
"How's Percy?" Harry asked as they toured the conservatory.
"Not very good," Bill said.
"He's very upset," Mrs. Weasley said in a low voice, looking around. "The Ministry didn't want to publicize Mr. Crouch's disappearance, but they pulled Percy in and questioned him about the instructions Mr. Crouch had sent. They seemed to think he might not have written them. Percy is under a lot of pressure. They didn't let him take Mr. Crouch's place as the fifth referee, and they put Cornelius Fudge in instead."
The three of them returned to the castle for lunch.
"Mum—Bill!" Ron gasped as he sat down at the Gryffindor table. "You should have left long ago. It's bothering them!"
"But Lamia and the others say they'd love for us to stay," said Mrs. Weasley cheerfully. "I must say it's a nice change of pace. No need to cook. How did you do on your exams?"
"Oh... okay," said Ron. "I couldn't remember all the names of the rebellious goblins so I just made up a few. That's okay," Ron said as he ate his pastry.
Mrs. Weasley's face hardened. "They're all called names like Longbeard and Scruffy Lala. They're easy to make up."
"No, Mum, you don't understand." Ron grimaced.
