Hermione was startled by what she said suddenly. She didn't expect that she would say what was in her heart. "I'm sorry, Lamia, I'm not... Oops."

Hermione didn't know what to say. She hurriedly stood up from Lamia's arms and ran to the side, with a suspicious blush on her face.

"It's okay, Hermione, I'm glad you're okay."

Lamia smiled and spoke, very considerately condensing a fireball to warm the shivering Hermione - the troll had broken the pool and her body was wet.

"Thank you, Lamia."

Hermione whispered.

Not long after, the professors who received the news rushed to the women's restroom. Professor McGonagall almost screamed when she saw the scene inside: the water pipe in the restroom burst, water accumulated everywhere on the ground, broken remains of the sink were scattered all over the ground, and the most frightening thing was the charred giant monster lying on the ground.

"What happened?" Professor McGonagall walked up to the four people, her voice trembling uncontrollably.

"professor,……"

"It's me, Professor."

Harry was about to tell the whole story when he was interrupted by Hermione. He was shocked to hear Hermione lie without changing her expression.

"I saw the troll in the book and thought I could defeat it. They were implicated because of me." Hermione stepped forward and took all the responsibility.

"You did this? You first-year students defeated the troll?" Professor McGonagall asked in disbelief.

"No..." Hermione wanted to tell the truth, but was worried about implicating Lamia, so she looked at her for help.

"Professor, yes, we defeated the troll by working together."

Lamia said.

"You're lucky it didn't kill you. Why don't you just stay in the dorm?"

Snape's venomous gaze swept over the four people present one by one, "Arrogant Gryffindor, and, stupid you." Snape's gaze focused on Lamia, and Lamia was suddenly enveloped by a chill.

"Please don't, Professor, they're here for me."

Hermione said weakly.

"You disappoint me so much, Miss Granger. Gryffindor will be deducted five points. If you are okay, please return to Hogwarts Castle." said Professor McGonagall.

"As for you, you should count yourselves lucky. It's unheard of for a first year to defeat a grown troll. You have earned five points each for Gryffindor and Slytherin. Now, you may leave with Miss Granger."

"That only adds five points to Gryffindor," Ron muttered.

"Stop talking, Ron," Harry said over his shoulder, then followed Lamia in front.

"Lamia, there's a Quidditch match in a few days. Can you cheer me on?"

"Harry, I'm a Slytherin."

Lamia said.

"But I'm still rooting for you, you're awesome."

Lamia stroked Harry's messy hair and smiled.

After the few people separated, Lamia walked towards the lounge. When she passed through a dark corridor, a pair of warm and soft little hands pulled the corner of her robe.

"Lamia, it's me." Hermione walked out from the shadows. She seemed to have just cried, and her eyes were red.

"What's up, Hermione?"

Lamia asked.

"I, I'm very sad, but no one wants to listen to me." Hermione's eyes were red and tears gathered in her eyes.

"Perhaps you could tell me about it."

Lamia saw this as an opportunity, a chance to taste new flavors.

"Do you also think I'm meddling in your business?"

Hermione raised her head and looked at Lamia nervously, her fingers clenched white.

"No, Hermione, you're a very good wizard. Don't listen to others. Just be yourself."

Lamia walked forward and gently pressed Hermione's furry head into her arms. "From now on, I will accompany you. Don't be afraid."

Hermione closed her eyes in peace, but her tears could not be stopped, wetting Lamia's chest.

A few days later, the Quidditch match began.

During this period, Hermione came to see Lamia almost every day and dragged her to the library to study every day.

"Hermione, we can actually do something else, like take a walk or something." Lamia rubbed her sore eyes.

"Don't you like being with me, Lamia?" Hermione said a little disappointed.

"No, no." Lamia explained hurriedly.

The two of them sat down in the auditorium together, but Hermione still wasn't very happy.

The game on the field was very exciting and Harry performed very well, but Lamia was not in the mood to watch.

Until Ron noticed that there seemed to be something wrong with Harry's broom, "Lamia, Hermione, look, is Harry's broom out of control?"

Harry was hanging in the air, his broom seemingly completely disobeying him.

"What should we do?" Ron looked around anxiously.

"It's Snape!"

Hermione said.

"He kept his eyes on Harry, and that was only necessary when casting spells."

"No, look at Quirrell, he's staring at Harry too."

Lamia had always been targeted by Quirrell, and now she saw him at a glance.

Before Ron could come up with a solution, Hermione ran to where Quirrell and Snape were sitting, pulled out her wand, and said, "Fire."

Blue flames ignited at Quirrell's feet, and he lowered his head in the heat, while Harry's broom returned to normal.

The game ended with Harry catching the Snitch. The whole audience cheered and even Lamia applauded. As expected, she got a cold eye roll from Draco.

"Lamia, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. You also have things you want to do. I can't possess you forever."

Hermione said sincerely after the game.

"It's okay, Hermione, other things are fun too, you just haven't experienced them yet."

Lamia said.

"Really? Then can you come with me?"
