Slaying God: I, the insane and witty god

Chapter 37: The game begins, and a dilemma emerges

The pillar of light that shot up into the sky gradually dissipated, and Wu Hen found himself in an arena in the clouds.

There is a bottomless abyss under your feet and energy barriers flashing with ancient runes all around. Obviously, any attempt to get away with it will come at a heavy price.

"Welcome everyone to the Gods' Games!" A magnetic voice echoed over the arena. "I am Loki, one of the planners of this game."

Wu Hen looked up and saw a man in a green robe and a pointed hat sitting on a throne made of lightning, with a playful smile on his lips.

"The rules of the game are simple. Whoever survives to the end will receive a generous reward." Loki paused, his eyes sweeping over Wu Hen. "Of course, the prerequisite is that you can survive."

As soon as he finished speaking, several rings rose in the center of the arena, and there was a contestant standing on each ring.

Wu Hen looked around and found that all the contestants were very powerful.

There is Nezha from the East, holding a fire spear, riding on a wind-fire wheel, with a face full of rebelliousness; there is Joan of Arc from the West, wearing silver armor, holding a holy flag, with a firm and pious look; and there is Susanoo from Japan, wearing a white battle robe, holding a ten-fisted sword, his eyes full of arrogance and disdain.

"It seems this game is truly filled with hidden dragons and crouching tigers." Wu Hen touched his nose and thought to himself, "But, I'm a man determined to become the strongest. How could I possibly be intimidated by little characters like you!"

"First round, battle!" Loki's voice rang out again. "Now, all contestants, please step onto the stage and challenge your opponents!"

Wu Hen's opponent was a monster that exuded a dark aura. It had sharp claws and bloodshot eyes. It launched a fierce attack right away, and a fishy smell hit his face.

Wu Hen was pushed back repeatedly by the attacking airflow, but he did not panic. Instead, he showed a strange smile:

"Hey, big brother, your style is quite unique. Where did you get it done?" "Hey, big brother, your style is quite unique. Where did you get it done? Can I unlock the Supreme Black Gold Edition if I become a member?" Wu Hen dodged the monster's attacks deftly while teasing with his unique sense of humor.

The monster obviously didn't understand what "membership" and "Supreme Black Gold Edition" meant, but it felt Wu Hen's contempt and suddenly became more violent, with smelly saliva spurting out as it roared.

Wu Hen pinched his nose in disgust: "Brother, with your breath, you really should try the chewing gum from my hometown. It has fresh breath, you deserve it!"

The contestants around him looked at Wu Hen's unruly look and shook their heads secretly, thinking that he would probably be the first to be eliminated.

However, at this moment, Wu Hen moved. His figure was like a ghost, moving freely between the monsters' attacks.

He attacked with great speed, and each blow landed precisely on the monster's weak spot.

"With your speed, you can't even catch up with the square dance aunties in my hometown!" Wu Hen continued to taunt while attacking.

The monster was completely confused by Wu Hen's actions. Its attacks became more and more chaotic. Finally, Wu Hen seized the flaw and knocked it to the ground with one blow.

"Hey, is it over? I want to play for a while longer." Wu Hen looked at the monster lying on the ground and shook his head with an unsatisfied look.

The contestants around were stunned by this scene. They didn't expect that this seemingly nonchalant guy actually possessed such powerful strength.

"Humph, nothing special!" Susanoo saw Wu Hen win, a hint of jealousy flashed in his eyes. He snorted coldly, turned around and walked together with several other contestants, whispering: "This guy is a bit weird, we have to join forces to deal with him!"

The other contestants also nodded. Obviously, they had regarded Wu Hen as the biggest threat.

Wu Hen didn't know that he had been targeted. He was still thinking about the battle just now: "This game of gods is quite interesting, but the opponent is too weak." He raised his head and his eyes fell on a huge stone tablet in the center of the arena. There were some ancient words engraved on the stone tablet, which seemed to hide some secrets.

"Those words..." Wu Hen narrowed his eyes, and suddenly a strong premonition arose in his heart, "I seem to have seen them somewhere..."

The second round of challenges soon began, and Loki's annoying voice rang out again: "Congratulations everyone, you've survived the first round. But don't celebrate too soon, the next challenge will be even more exciting!"

The arena in the center of the arena slowly lowered, replaced by a huge stone tablet.

The stone tablet is densely engraved with ancient characters, exuding a mysterious and powerful aura.

"The second part is solving the puzzle!" Loki pointed at the stone tablet, a sly smile on his face. "Solve the oracle on the stone tablet, and you'll receive a generous reward. Of course, if you can't solve it..."

He deliberately dragged out his voice, his eyes swept over everyone, his tone full of threats: "You will bear the consequences at your own risk."

The other contestants began to study the words on the stone tablet carefully, except Wu Hen, who scratched his head in confusion.

"What the hell is this? Is it Martian?"

He tried translating in various languages, but to no avail.

"Do I have to use my academic strength that I haven't used for many years?" Wu Hen made a bitter face, feeling that his brain cells were about to be drained dry.

At this moment, Joan of Arc suddenly exclaimed, "I know! This is the language of ancient angels!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Susanoo sneered and said, "Humph, even if you know, so what? Can you understand it?"

Joan of Arc ignored his taunts and began to concentrate on interpreting the oracle.

Wu Hen looked at them and they all seemed to be full of energy, and suddenly felt a lot of pressure.

"No, we can't wait any longer. If we wait any longer, we'll be left with nothing!"

He took a deep breath and decided to go with his gut.

"I think the meaning of this oracle should be..." Wu Hen pointed at a symbol on the stone tablet and said nonsense seriously, "This one represents the universe, and this one represents the truth. Together, they mean..."

An idea struck him, and he blurted out, "Oli Ge!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the stone tablet suddenly burst into a dazzling light, and a beam of light shot up into the sky, enveloping Wu Hen.

Everyone was stunned. They never expected that this seemingly unreliable guy could actually decipher the oracle by accident!

"This...how is this possible?!" Susanoo looked at the scene in disbelief, feeling that his three views had been overturned.

Joan of Arc also looked incredulous, but she quickly reacted and a strange light flashed in her beautiful eyes.

"Is this guy really just lucky?"

Loki watched this scene, and the smile on his face became even more playful.

"Congratulations, Wu Hen, you successfully deciphered the oracle and earned a large amount of points!"

Wu Hen was stunned by the sudden reward. Before he could react, Loki announced the third round of challenges:

"Next, you will travel to a mysterious island to search for the legendary artifact! Remember, only those who find the artifact can enter the next round!"

Wu Hen looked at the parchment map that appeared out of thin air in his hand. There was only a vague outline of an island marked on it, and suddenly an ominous premonition arose in his heart.

"This shabby place...is there any surprise waiting for me?"
