Slaying God: I, the insane and witty god

Chapter 34: Labyrinth Dilemma, a Clever Way to Break Out

Wu Hen hummed a tuneless little song and walked into the underground maze with a bold and heroic step, not caring about his relatives.

According to legend, only by passing through this maze can one reach the treasure house of the gods.

"That's it? A maze? I'm a man who has walked through crossroads in life!" Wu Hen looked disdainful. He picked up a stone on the ground and drew a cross on the wall.

This is the experience he has gained from playing games over the years, and it is an essential skill to prevent getting lost!

However, reality soon gave him a loud slap in the face.

This maze is a nightmare for people with poor directions!

Every path looks identical, and the bones of unknown creatures hang eerily on the walls.

Wu Hen wandered around for a long time and found himself back to the starting point with a cross.

"No way? Are you kidding me?" Wu Hen widened his eyes in disbelief. "These days, even mazes have infinite loops?" What's even worse is that the dry food and water he brought with him were also used up in this endless circle.

Hunger, thirst, fatigue, all kinds of negative emotions began to spread in Wu Hen's heart.

Just when he was about to despair, suddenly, a faint light appeared in front of him...

Wu Hen's eyes lit up, and he stumbled forward as if he had grabbed a life-saving straw.

"I finally found you..." A sinister voice sounded in the deep darkness, with a hint of cruel smile.

"Hey, buddy, are you lost? Do you need a hand?" Wu Hen shouted into the darkness with a playful smile, but there was a hint of imperceptible vigilance in his tone.

The voice in the darkness was silent for a moment, and then a cold laugh was heard: "Hmph, Wu Hen, stop pretending. Hand over the artifact, and I may consider leaving you with an intact body!"

"Artifact? What artifact? What nonsense are you talking about?" Wu Hen spread his hands in surprise, but his eyes quickly scanned the surroundings, trying to find the source of the sound.

"Stop pretending!" The voice in the darkness grew even colder. "I know you've got the 'Compass of Destiny'. Hand it over, and I might consider sparing your life!"

"Compass of destiny? It sounds very powerful, but unfortunately I don't have it!" Wu Hen said as he quietly reached into his pocket and tightly grasped the compass that was emitting a faint glow.

At this moment, Wu Hen suddenly remembered some ancient symbols about mazes that he had seen in the ruins before.

An idea suddenly struck him, and he took out the small knife he carried with him and began carving on the wall according to the symbols.

As the last symbol was completed, there was a slight vibration on the wall, and a stone door slowly opened, revealing a passage leading to the unknown depths.

"This..." The voice in the darkness was obviously stunned for a moment, "How is this possible? How did you find it?"

Wu Hen whistled triumphantly and stepped into the passage without looking back, leaving behind only a dashing figure and a provocative remark: "Want to know? Beg me!"

"Damn it!" An angry growl was heard in the darkness, and then a black shadow rushed towards Wu Hen at lightning speed...

Wu Hen's figure disappeared in the passage, and Merlin broke free from the illusion. He growled with gritted teeth: "Damn it! How dare you play tricks on me!" The flames of anger burned in his eyes, and he smashed his staff to the ground fiercely. The maze shook violently, and gravel fell down.

"Don't let me meet you again! Otherwise..." Merlin said this viciously, but found that there were several forks in the road in front of him, each of which was exactly the same as the one Wu Hen had walked before.

"Damn it! Who designed this maze?!" Merlin was furious, but he could only rely on his feelings and randomly choose a path to chase after him.

At this time, Wu Hen had already followed the new passage to a wider underground space.

However, before he could breathe a sigh of relief, bursts of low roars came from the front, like some ferocious beast, or like evil spirits from hell, which was creepy.

"Damn, I can't be so unlucky? Just got out of the wolf's den and fell into the tiger's den?" Wu Hen couldn't help but complain, but his steps did not stop at all. He held his breath and walked carefully towards the direction where the sound came from.

The further he walked, the clearer the roar became, accompanied by the harsh sound of metal friction. Wu Hen's heart was filled with alarm and he said "not good" in his heart. He was about to turn around and retreat, but it was too late.

In the darkness ahead, a pair of scarlet eyes suddenly opened, like two will-o'-the-wisp lights, flashing strange light in the darkness.

"Human, how dare you trespass..." A deep and majestic voice sounded, carrying an unquestionable sense of oppression, "This is not a place for ants like you!"
