Chapter 123 Transferring High-Tech Intelligence
"This project is called 'Dawn,' and it involves our company's cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence. I can't reveal too many details, but I can tell you that this project will completely change the market landscape and may even influence global technological development."
"Dawn Project..." Su Ming muttered to himself, remaining calm on the surface. "It sounds very challenging. I'm willing to accept this mission."
Li Cheng nodded, then stood up, walked over to Su Ming, and gently patted his shoulder. "Very good, I knew you would agree. You will receive more detailed project information tomorrow. Remember, all of this must be kept absolutely confidential."
Su Ming nodded slightly, then left the office at Li Cheng's signal. The moment he walked out the door, he felt the gaze from behind him still following him closely, as if Li Cheng's eyes had never left him.
Returning to his desk, Su Ming sat down and began to rapidly analyze the information he had just received. This "Dawn" project was clearly the core secret of the Borri Group, and he had to uncover the key to it as quickly as possible. He knew that this would be an extremely complex mission, and any slight mistake could put him in danger.
The next morning, Su Ming received an encrypted email from within the company, detailing the Suguang project. While reading the email, Su Ming discovered that the project involved a new type of artificial intelligence chip, one that could significantly improve computing efficiency and potentially revolutionize the existing technological landscape. More importantly, the chip possessed an as-yet-undisclosed capability: it could directly connect to the human brain through a neural network, enabling unprecedented human-computer interaction.
"Is this thing... truly possible?" Su Ming stared at the description on the screen, unable to conceal his shock. He understood that if this project truly succeeded, it would not only revolutionize technology but also have far-reaching social implications. Those who controlled this technology could practically manipulate the flow of information worldwide. He continued to browse the email. He discovered that the development of the Dawn Project wasn't limited to the Borri Group itself, but also involved several external partners and suppliers. Among these partners, several companies caught Su Ming's attention. They had complex backgrounds and intricate ties to the governments and militaries of multiple countries.
"It seems things aren't as simple as they appear," Su Ming muttered to himself. He decided to investigate these partners further, to see if he could uncover any clues. While continuing his daily work, Su Ming secretly used various means to obtain background information on these partner companies. Using his espionage credentials, Su Ming soon uncovered a startling fact: one of the companies, Deep Blue Technology, was actually a front for a foreign intelligence agency, specializing in the acquisition and transfer of high-tech intelligence.
This discovery weighed heavily on Su Ming's heart. He began to realize that there might be a larger conspiracy behind the Dawn Project. This wasn't just a commercial competition; it might involve international competition and intelligence warfare.
However, Su Ming knew that this alone wasn't enough to uncover the full truth. He needed more evidence to connect these clues and form a complete intelligence chain. Su Ming returned home and sat exhausted on the sofa. He tossed the documents on the table, closed his eyes, and replayed his recent discoveries in his mind.
"What the hell is going on here..." Su Ming muttered to himself, feeling that the complexity of the situation was far greater than he had anticipated. The Dawn Project was clearly a massive vortex, and he was being gradually drawn into it.
Just as he was lost in thought, his cell phone suddenly rang. Seeing Lin Rou's name displayed on the screen, his heart moved slightly.
"Su Ming, I have important information." Lin Rou's voice was a little hurried, and it was obvious that the matter was urgent.
"Go ahead." Su Ming adjusted his sitting position and listened attentively.
"While tracking Deep Blue Technology, we discovered they've been in frequent contact with senior executives at the Borri Group. Furthermore, these contacts have all taken place in private locations outside the company, with the timing and location kept secret." Lin Rou continued, "I suspect they're planning some sort of operation, possibly related to the Dawn Project."
"A private place?" Su Ming frowned. This detail alerted him. "Do you have a specific time and place?"
"Yes, their last meeting was in a private club tonight." Lin Rou told Su Ming the specific address and time.
"Understood. I'll investigate," Su Ming nodded, mentally preparing for action. He stood up, walked to his wardrobe, and chose a plain black suit to change into. He concealed a small pistol in a hidden pocket inside his suit, ensuring he could quickly respond to any emergency.
Late at night, Su Ming drove to the address Lin Rou had provided. It was an upscale private club on the edge of the city, quiet and rarely visited. Su Ming parked his car not far from the club and walked over.
The entrance to the clubhouse was heavily guarded, but for Su Ming, this was no problem. He quietly made his way around to the clubhouse's side door and sneaked in through a hidden passage. The interior of the clubhouse was extremely luxurious, but Su Ming kept his eyes alert, ready to respond to any possible danger.
He walked carefully through the corridor and came to the door of the room Lin Rou mentioned. A faint light shone through the crack of the door, and a low voice could be heard. Su Ming held his breath.
During the investigation,
The city seemed especially quiet under the night sky. The glow of neon lights filtered through the glass windows onto the floor, casting mottled shadows. Su Ming sat alone in the dim living room, a cup of strong black coffee in hand, his mind racing over the various clues he had recently uncovered.
He knew he had entered a complex vortex. The Borui Group's "Shuguang" project was more than just a simple high-tech development; it was entangled in a deeper conspiracy. Just as he was about to continue his investigation, a phone call shattered the tranquility of the night.
"Hello?" Su Ming answered the phone with a hint of caution in his tone.
"Su Ming, it's me, Lin Yue." A clear female voice came from the other end of the line, with a hint of nervousness and urgency. "Lin Yue? How do you know my phone number?"
"That's not important," Lin Yue lowered her voice. "We need to meet. I have new discoveries about the Borui Group."
