The postman set off with the prepared letter.

Kogoro Mouri received an "anonymous" letter of commission, which came with a check for five million and three boat tickets. The letter commissioned him to go to an island called Bearstein to investigate a murder case.

Conan immediately noticed the blue wax seal on the envelope and realized it might be related to the members of the Orient Organization. The blue wax seal might be a member of the survivors trying to pass on a message, and Conan immediately became interested.

The letter briefly introduced Bearstein Island, describing it as a botanical paradise, overflowing with the fragrance of flowers. The islanders deeply revered plants, naming themselves after them. Visitors were also asked to adopt plant names upon arrival. A high priest on the island created unique plant specimens for visitors as souvenirs.

According to the case described in the commission letter, the island's high priest and other islanders discovered an unidentified body in the home of Miss Mandala, the next heir to Bearstein Island. The client firmly refused to believe that Miss Mandala was the murderer, so he commissioned the famous detective Maori Kogoro to investigate.

Maori Kogoro seemed unconcerned. "I think it's probably because some islanders don't want Miss Mandala to inherit the island, so they framed her."

In view of the five million check and the fact that Xiaolan is also very interested in the island full of flowers, Kogoro Mouri decides to take the two of them to the island.

Amid the roar of the cruise ship, several people got off the ship with other tourists.

The one who came to greet everyone was the island's high priest, Rosemary.

The high priest held a long staff wrapped with vines, wore a lavender rosemary flower on his head, and there were also traces of lavender flowers on his shoulders. He was wearing a white dress and brought bursts of floral fragrance when he walked.

Conan and the other two, like everyone else, were waiting for the beautiful woman's welcome speech, but she just smiled and gestured to everyone.

Conan, who had studied in Hawaii and could understand some sign language, translated for everyone: "Welcome to Bearstein, this is the kingdom of flowers. I hope to bring you joy and happiness."

Just as Conan was struggling to translate for everyone, a tall black figure appeared from behind the high priest Rosemary.

"Where each petal is dappled with light and shadow is the land where the wings of nature overlap, it is the island of dreams, it is the paradise of happiness, it is Beilstein." The person who spoke wore a black mask and a black suit with exquisite embroidery.

"Welcome to this kingdom of flowers. I am tuberose, the assistant of the high priest." Tuberose saluted the tourists.

Rosemary made some more gestures and Tuberose continued to translate.

"Please choose your favorite plant from the many options and wear it on your body. The name of the plant will also be your name on the island. Also, for some reason, we will no longer be distributing the plant specimens specially prepared by the high priest this year."

Kogoro Mouri casually chose cherry blossoms, likely because he only knew a few flowers. Conan chose pansies, whose meaning is longing. Ran, after much deliberation, chose roses, whose meaning is strength, simplicity, and the longing of love.

In order to investigate the truth of the case, Kogoro Mouri decided to go to the cell where Mandala was imprisoned first.

As Conan expected, things did not go as smoothly as he imagined. Tulip was standing in front of the cell to block them.

"Dear guests, this is where important suspects are detained. Please go somewhere else to visit." Tuberose crossed her arms and stood in front of the few people.

"But someone has entrusted us to investigate the truth of the case. Some people believe that Miss Mandragora is innocent." Xiaolan stood up to explain to Tulip.

Conan looked at Miss Mandragora through the cell door. She did not show any emotion at the arrival of the visitor. She was sitting quietly on the chair in the middle of the cell in a long dress that looked like a drooping mandragora flower.

"Ms. Mandala, don't you have anything to say about that case?" In order to obtain information, Conan couldn't help but step forward and ask.

But then they were stopped by Tuberose: "I don't want to bother you with anything on the island. Please turn your attention to the beautiful scenery of Bearstein."

Conan looked at Tuberose who was determined to stop them and felt that he looked a bit like someone he had met before. In addition, if the invitation letter was sent by the survivors, why hadn't he seen them yet?

With doubts in their hearts, several people decided to go to Mandala's residence to investigate.

In this abandoned house, Conan was carefully collecting clues.

There are two types of shoe prints on the ground: one clean and one muddy. There are two pairs of shoe prints with one pattern, one with mud and one without. The other clean shoe print has a different pattern. The shoe prints with different patterns are of different sizes.

So several people left Mandala's residence.
