The Governor of the Daraven System, Isel, was kneeling in terror before a group of indistinct giants, his body trembling slightly, his face pale as paper. The giants, wielding enormous guns, aimed directly at Isel's head.

"Ready!" Following the order from one of the giants, he raised his right hand high, ready to give the order to shoot.

"Clatter" At the command of the tall giant, all the tall giants pulled the bolts in unison. When the bolts sounded, it was like the grin of the god of death to Iser.

When Iser heard this voice, his heart almost jumped out of his throat and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

"Sir! Sir! I am willing to surrender, please don't kill me!" Iser's legs went soft and he fell heavily to the ground, kowtowing and begging for mercy while shouting loudly.

"Bang, bang, bang" His head hit the hard floor, making a crisp sound, but at this moment he no longer cared about the pain and just wanted to save his life.

"Sir, I can provide you with more weapons and soldiers! As long as you are willing to let me go, I am willing to serve you wholeheartedly!"

Iser's forehead slammed against the ground repeatedly, blood flowing from his forehead, staining the surrounding ground red. He stared at the giants in horror with his eyes wide open, hoping they would show mercy.

With his hands tied behind his back, Isel continued to mutter his bargaining chip: "My lord, I am the governor of the Daraven system! My power is vast, with a population of hundreds of billions! If you let me go, I will lead them to surrender to you! I will give you all my wealth and resources! I only ask that you let me live..."

However, the giants seemed to have no interest in Iser's plea for mercy. They looked at him indifferently, their eyes full of contempt and disgust.

They said nothing, just quietly waiting for the giant who ordered the shooting to make a decision.

Iser closed his eyes in despair, tears streaming down his cheeks. He knew he had no way out and could only hope that these giants would have some mercy and spare his life.

But he also knew in his heart that this was just a gamble, and the stakes were his life.

"Will you provide us with weapons and equipment if we release him?" The giant looked at Iser kneeling on the ground jokingly and asked indifferently.

"Yes! My lord, if you release me, I will do my best to provide you with weapons and equipment, as well as countless soldiers."

After hearing the giant's question, Iser felt as if he had grabbed a life-saving straw, nodding frantically like a rattle. He no longer cared about anything else and just wanted to survive, so he shouted out all the chips he could think of.

"You are so stupid! Even if I kill you, these things will still be mine, right? Hahahahahahahaha." The giant felt very happy when he saw Iser's panic-stricken and frightened look, and couldn't help laughing jokingly.

"But, but..." After hearing the giant's joking words, Iser's face turned extremely pale and his mind went blank. He didn't know what to say. He could only continue to think desperately about how to survive, racking his brains to think of various ways to find a way to survive.

"Shoot!" The giant felt a little bored when he saw Isaiah still trying to struggle, so he gave the order directly and coldly.

"Bang bang bang!" In an instant, fierce gunshots rang out. Iser, who was kneeling on the ground, was instantly riddled with bullet holes and turned into a ball of bloody mist.

"Ahhhhh!" Suddenly, a shrill scream rang out, and Iser fell off the bed. When his body touched the cold floor, he realized that he was not in a dream, but had really returned to the real world.

"What's going on? Am I not dead?" A trace of confusion appeared on Iser's face, but it quickly disappeared, replaced by relief and fear.

He gasped and muttered to himself, "It turned out to be a nightmare. Fortunately, it was just a dream. I was scared to death."

"But this dream is too real, isn't it?" Iser patted his chest, trying to calm his heartbeat, and then said to himself: "Who is that giant? Why did he appear in my dream? Is it because I'm too tired lately?"

"Forget it, let's not think about it too much for now. Let's go take a shower first." Iser shook his head. After getting up from the ground, he found that he was covered in cold sweat, sticky and uncomfortable, so he decided to go to the bathroom to take a shower first.

"Bang!" Iser's bedroom door was pushed open, and two sturdy guards ran in, anxiously asking:

"Governor, what's wrong with you? Has anything happened?"

Issel, who had just gotten up from the ground, found himself in such a state of disgrace that the two guards had seen him. He shouted angrily,

"Get out."

The two guards who had just run in were frightened when they heard the Governor's angry words and nodded hurriedly:

"Yes, yes, Your Excellency the Governor." The two men quickly retreated and closed the door again.

Iser watched the two guards leaving with a cold gaze, and murderous intent was already in his heart. These two people actually saw his miserable appearance. He absolutely could not let them stay for long, otherwise his image would be damaged.

For the nobles, their own image is the most important thing. The lives of a few ordinary people are just tools in their eyes.

When Isel finished washing, he sat quietly on the luxurious chair, gazing at the statue of the emperor enshrined on the wall.

His thoughts gradually drifted away, immersed in the world deep in his heart. This dream was too real, like a prophecy foreshadowing the future.

He felt confused and uneasy, not knowing how to interpret it. His eyes were full of confusion, as if he was thinking about something important.

Iser's brow furrowed in uncertainty, his fingers tapping lightly on the table as he tried to sort out his thoughts. He realized that this dream might be related to upcoming events, but what exactly did it mean?

He needed more clues to solve the mystery. He took a deep breath and tried to concentrate, recalling every detail of his dream.

Finally, after much deliberation, Isel decided to act. He stood up, walked to the statue of the Emperor, and bowed his head in reverence.

Then he gently opened the secret compartment beneath the Emperor's statue and carefully took out an ancient and mysterious book. The cover of this book was made of tough human skin, engraved with obscure and mysterious words, exuding an ancient and mysterious aura.

Iser held the book respectfully in both hands and placed it carefully on the table.
