The power from the man in black's palm pressed down like a mountain, the shadow of death looming over me, making it difficult to breathe. I felt Hao Yang's fingers tighten slightly as he held my hand.

"Yaoyao..." he called softly, with a hint of determination in his tone.

I turned to look at him and was about to speak when I suddenly heard a familiar voice from a distance, with a hint of sarcasm and pride:

"Hey, isn't that our Miss Wei and her lover? What are you doing, hiding out here, being affectionate?" A dark figure flashed through the woods at astonishing speed. Before I could react, a cold voice echoed in my ears: "We've found you." The voice was chilling and piercing, like a call from hell, and it instantly made my hair stand on end. Before I could even see who was coming, I felt a powerful pressure coming from all directions, as if it was about to crush me. Hao Yang grabbed me and protected me behind him, while mobilizing all his spiritual power to withstand the pressure.

"Who is it?!" Hao Yang roared, his voice full of vigilance and anger.

"Hmph, you overestimate your abilities." The black shadow gradually became clearer, and a man in a black cloak slowly walked out of the woods with a contemptuous smile on his face. It was Hao Feng who had competed with us for the items at the auction before.

Hao Feng's eyes flickered between Hao Yang and me, finally stopping at Hao Yang. A sinister glint flashed in his eyes. "Hao Yang, how dare you betray your family and get involved with this woman? Today, let me clean up the mess!"
