A heart as solid as a rock, a will as strong as a stone

"Is anyone there?" I called out tentatively, but the only response I got was the echo from the cave. Fear and despair began to spread in my heart. I felt like I was trapped in a huge cage with nowhere to escape.

Suddenly, a voice sounded in my ear: "Child, you look confused..."

I turned around suddenly and saw an old man appear behind me. He had white hair and a youthful face, wearing a simple gray robe and holding a wooden staff. He exuded a peaceful and tranquil aura.

"Who are you?" I asked warily.

The old man smiled faintly: "I am just a passerby, you can call me your spiritual mentor. I see that you are worried about a lot, perhaps I can help you."

I hesitated for a moment, but ultimately told him my story. I recounted my journey through the book, my encounter with Hao Yang, the machinations of Wei Xue, Hao Shuang, and the dark force that had just occurred.

The spiritual mentor listened quietly. When I finished speaking, he slowly said, "My child, the road of life is always full of ups and downs and hardships. What is important is that you have a strong heart. No matter how strong the external storms are, they cannot destroy the peace of your heart."

He paused, then continued, "Look at this cave. Although it's dark and damp, it also provides you with a safe haven. The same is true of the lowest points in life. They may make you feel painful and hopeless, but they also provide you with an opportunity to reflect and grow."

The old man's words flowed like a clear spring into my heart, cleansing away my fear and confusion. I began to reflect on my own experiences and realized that I had always relied too much on the system and cared too much about what others thought. I was always afraid of failure and loss, but I forgot that true strength comes from within.

"I understand," I took a deep breath and said, "I can't be defeated by difficulties. I must become stronger."

The spiritual mentor nodded with satisfaction. "Child, you are very smart and brave. Remember, if your heart is as strong as a rock, your will will be even stronger. As long as you are strong enough, no difficulty can stop you from moving forward."

Over the next few days, my spiritual mentor stayed with me. He shared many life philosophies and his own experiences. His stories were like guiding lights, illuminating my path forward.

Under the guidance of my spiritual mentor, I gradually became stronger. I was no longer afraid of the dark, no longer afraid of failure, and I began to believe in myself and my own strength.

“Thank you, mentor,” I said sincerely, “you helped me find my true self.”

The spiritual mentor smiled and said, "Child, you don't need to thank me. You just need to remember that the power in your heart is much stronger than you think." After he said that, he turned and left the cave and disappeared into the darkness.

I stood up, feeling full of strength. I walked out of the cave and took a deep breath of fresh air. The sunlight shone warmly on my face. I suddenly thought of Hao Yang. I wondered how he was doing now... I had to go find him.

Just then, I heard a faint voice coming from not far away: "Wei Yao...is that you?"

I looked in the direction of the sound and saw Hao Yang, holding onto a tree, stumbling towards me. He was pale and thin, clearly having endured a lot. I quickly ran over to support him, and asked distressedly, "Hao Yang, how are you? Are you hurt?"

He forced a smile and shook his head: "I'm fine, just a little weak. I'm relieved to see that you are safe and sound." His eyes were full of concern, which made me feel warm.

"I'm fine," I held his hand tightly, my tone firm, "I am no longer the same person I used to be." I briefly told him about my experience of meeting the spiritual mentor in the cave and my inner transformation.

Hao Yang listened quietly, a glimmer of hope gradually igniting in his eyes. "Wei Yao, you've really changed," he said with emotion. "You've become stronger and more confident."

"The same goes for you, Haoyang," I looked at him and said seriously, "You have always been strong and brave. We can definitely overcome all difficulties."

He held my hand tightly, his eyes full of strength: "Well, let's work together!"

We supported each other and slowly left the cave. The sunlight shone on us, dispelling the previous haze and illuminating the way forward.

For the next few days, we found a secluded place to recuperate. As Hao Yang gradually recovered, I began to re-examine my system. Previously, I'd been so busy dealing with various crises that I hadn't carefully studied all of the system's functions. Now, with some quiet time, I discovered some hidden icons on the system interface that I hadn't noticed before.

I tried clicking one of the icons, and the system interface suddenly changed, with a new line of text appearing: "Time Rewind is Enabled." Time Rewind? Could I go back to the past? This discovery thrilled me. If I could go back, perhaps I could change some things, prevent some tragedy.

I continued to study other hidden functions and found that the system also has functions such as "space jump" and "energy conversion". These functions are very powerful. If I can use them skillfully, they will become my weapons against evil wizards.

"Haoyang, look!" I excitedly told him about my discovery. He was also very surprised. We studied these new features together and tried to use them.

"With these new features, we have a greater chance of winning." Hao Yang clenched his fists, his eyes full of hope.

I know we still face enormous challenges. Wei Xue, Hao Shuang, Hao Feng, and the others won't let us go easily, and the evil wizard is growing stronger. But I'm no longer afraid. My heart has become incredibly strong.

Just as we were about to leave our hiding place and face the challenge anew, a chilling aura suddenly enveloped us... A figure slowly emerged from the woods, a voice low and hoarse: "It seems you've recovered well..." Wei Xue, she actually found us! Behind her, two black-robed figures followed, emitting a suffocating dark aura...

"Wei Xue!" Hao Yang held me tightly behind him, staring at her with a sharp gaze. "What else do you want to do?"

Wei Xue sneered, her tone sinister: "What for? Of course I'm here to deal with you two unfortunate lovers." She tossed her hair charmingly, her eyes filled with venom. "Wei Yao, you don't really think you can get away, do you? Sooner or later, I'll know your secrets!"

The two black-robed men behind her took a step forward, and a powerful pressure rushed towards me, making it difficult to breathe. These two people were definitely stronger than Hao Yang and me.

I took a deep breath and forced myself to calm down. At this point, fear was useless. Only by fighting to the death could I have a chance of survival.

"System, start energy conversion!" I said silently in my heart.

A powerful energy instantly surged through my body, and I felt full of strength. I clenched my fists and met Wei Xue's gaze with a firm gaze.

"Want to fight? I'll fight you to the end!"

Hao Yang also summoned his weapon, a long sword gleaming with cold light. He stood shoulder to shoulder with me, his eyes devoid of any fear.

"You don't know your own limitations!" Wei Xue sneered and waved her hand to signal the two men in black robes to take action.

A fierce battle was about to break out. The two men in black robes were powerful and their moves were ruthless. Hao Yang and I teamed up to resist them, but we gradually lost the upper hand.

"Hao Yang, be careful!" I saw one of the men in black robes waving his sharp claws and aiming straight for Hao Yang's heart, and I immediately screamed.

Hao Yang reacted quickly and dodged the fatal blow by turning sideways, but a deep bloody mark was still left on his arm by the sharp claws.

"Hao Yang!" I shouted his name in pain, but I had no time to care about him because another man in black robe had already attacked me.

I swung the whip in my hand, trying to resist, but my strength was too small compared to his. I felt a huge force hit me, the whip in my hand flew out, and I was thrown back and fell heavily to the ground.

"Puff--" A mouthful of blood spurted out of my mouth. I struggled to get up, but I felt as if all the bones in my body were falling apart and the pain was unbearable.

"Wei Yao!" Hao Yang called my name anxiously and wanted to come over to help me, but he was tightly entangled by two men in black robes.

"Don't waste your energy. None of you can leave today!" Wei Xue looked at us triumphantly, as if she had already seen our tragic death.

I closed my eyes in despair. Was I really going to die here today? I couldn't accept this. I still had a lot of things to do. I wanted to change my fate with Hao Yang. I couldn't die here!

Just when I was feeling discouraged, I suddenly felt a warm power enveloping me, and an ethereal voice rang in my ears: "Don't be afraid, child, I'm here to help you..."

I suddenly opened my eyes, but found that everything in front of me had disappeared, and Hao Yang and I were nowhere to be seen.

I was in a pure white world, with nothing around me, only a soft light enveloping me, making me feel extremely warm and peaceful.

Where am I? What happened?

"Hello, Wei Yao." The ethereal voice sounded again, with a hint of smile, "Welcome to my world."

I looked in the direction of the sound and saw a creature... It was emitting a soft light, and its bright eyes were gazing at me curiously...
